I have been going to thw community action for years for many different things as its our main place for resources to help a pwrson get a job help with ultilities and others things. The last few. Times i have gone there they have lost every simce of organizatiom the place has had period. When a pwrson signs up for a program and was put on a hold list then finally 3 weeks later brought in to suppose to finally get assistance to only be told that i uad to fill out the same exact application mind you its 20 pages or more and get told im put on the waitiing list again. When i tell tye same woman that did both my applications that she had already domw this ans we had already filled the papers out she then tells me that i needed to reachedule a different app because i had already dome what i was scheduled for oj that day so thsn i stadt to get upset cause like o said 2 wait list and ive already been to couet omce to be evicted to only be told i still cant fill out the main applicatiom i needed a different app . well i tell this woman ya kmow. At my ends i need her help loterally have no other source so then she lets me fill out a different application for another progrsam to omly be told at the end of that one that i still needed to be on a waitlist . and that they wouls call me omce it was time to come in and do the main paper work i asj her how lomh she thinks itll be and she doesnt kmow . so then ive waited for a week and decide to capl cause it was suppose to be soo. That i have heard frok her to only be told that that worker was on vacatiom and yes there are 2 other workers but they have there own case loads and disnt have te to look for my imformatiom to tell me whwn i could expect some kimda help . and still yet inhavent talked to anyome. Whats wromg with these pwkple they dont kmow what therw doimv anymorw there very sloppy to the point that they dont know what they are having u fill out and not.fill out. And then to be told u still cant gwt heko when ur days away frok being homeless is disgusting in my eyes to.know they have the funds available to help peopke and i cant get help because there on vacatiom . wake up community action. Ur forcing pekpke into homlessness and thats not right oh wait youncouod careless huh cause u have a roof over ur gead

Beauricrats doing someone's work. Went there for VA Outreach and left with no help just shuffle me off to someone else.

Betsy and everybody that work there are the best ...

I think this is a great place and they go above and beyond to help those who are less fortunate but most of the staff are bad about answering their phones and returning phone calls. Can be very frustrating at times.
