I can echo all the 1 star reviews. The ER department is terrible. Left me unattended for hours. Had to shout to get attention. And a huge bill in the end. I'd go with other providers if I had a choice.
the worst hospital I been to. I wish there was option for no stars. They treat people horribly. You are a joke to them. They will lie and lie!!!!!!!! and wont admit their mistakes. It just sucks the medical system here works this way, treat people horribly and get away with it. this needs to change! It's funny to me they are going around thanking people who give them good reviews on google. Pathetic. Some people are not fit to work with people in hospitals.This hospital needs to close down.
Refused to treat my dad because of his tattoos. Led to him getting a blood infection and having to amputate his finger. Left him in severe pain and had to go all the way to Highland hospital in Oakland to get treated. My grandma was also treated here for hip surgery. Gave her stool softeners/laxatives and left her unattended for hours despite her pressing the help button for assistance. You can put 2 and 2 together to understand how that went.
I would give NO star if there's such a choice!
They try their best to charge you high! The service is not that bad but the bill will make you crazy! Even if you have a very good insurance coverage (my insurance is one of the best as far as I know), they can always find a way to bill you in the highest end.
I was taken to the ER because I lost consciousness after climbing up stairs and was billed $2400 for 2 blood tests and advil in 4 hours of being admitted and discharged. I just called to ask for support to help with medical bills. They told me they don't work with or help public school teachers in financial need...I have never a medical provider not work with me and understand the financial challenges I face as a teacher. You should ashamed of yourself...
Good luck dealing with their billing department, I think they're on site twice a month. They refuse to provide their email address so you can't email them, they are also not available on site and finally they never pick up their phones. If they ever pick up the phones, which is rare, they won't be so pleasant to deal with. If I could, I would rate this entire hospital system a -5 stars.
Bad place. They do not take patient seriously. A friend passed away, after he was not attended for 5 hours despite of his deteriorating condition.
Horrible service. If you are having mental crisis they are no help. Do not come here. They sent 8 people in to give me two shots. I was so scared and it gave me an anxiety attack. They were yelling at me "how many drinks did you have lady?" When I was completely sober. They just assume the worst from every patient and do not deliver any services or care. No bedside manners and the doctors are neglectful. I wish I would have read the reviews before coming here. I am suing them and no I really don't care what you think... they lost my iPhone and shoes. When I called about it they said they had no record of my belongings. THIEVES.
The pics below are bruises the nurses gave me. They put me in restraints and instead of asking what's wrong like the sane doctors of the 90s, they just pushed my face down on a gurney and cut off the circulation to my limbs. I'm embarrassed by the Healthcare system in California. They say doctors make the worst patients... you think they would have a little common knowledge and courtesy. I personally think they're all just angry with their own doctors and think they know better on how to treat their patients.... which they don't. They're a bunch of no good wannabes. They didn't learn anything in school and I wish I could report to their teachers how ignorant and disrespectful they are.

I had enormous pain on left lower abdomen so I went 1st to family doctor at Washington warm springs township on Mohave Drive after Dr.Collins exam me he determined it was best to go to Washington Emergency 2000 Mowry Ave Dr informed me he would call ahead giving ER staff & Doctors detailed information on exactly why I was going and what exactly needs to be done Stat! (CT SCAN) at least that's my understanding was! I informed Dr.Collins in some detail my extremely hesitancy going to ER because I have had some really bad experiences and also believe ER should be reserved for obvious Emergencies (bone sticking out or blood everywhere) I don't really believe ER helps it s patients and cost is more than I could afford! But, Dr.Collins was pretty persistent and thought something serious was going on with me that needed ER Attention! So I went. This experience was WAY WORSE!! I checked in was called right away just to take vitals explain why I was there for 3rd time ER was not even busy (only 5 people in ER waiting room) then waited over 1 1/2 hrs to get another call just to take blood that s when I questioned WHY ?? when my doctor sent me here just for CT scan ! I called my doctor on the spot to see what was going on and he explained they have their own procedures . REALLY ??? Excessive billing practices if you ask me after all why do i need Lipid panel to check Cholesterol and other non essential blood test? (in my opinion to rack up ER expenses) for CT Scan and Abdomin pain? after that I was taken to room where I was greeted by extremely RUDE Nurse (RN) asked again why I was there Don't these people communicate? I must have been asked dozen times before I left) that RN also had a very bad attitude!! Teased!! me about my bag for meds and other high essentials demanded I get undressed put on gown as he rudely explained multiple times and then painfully stuck needle in me (not in vain) HURT A LOT ! Should sue them! I have big ballon arm! I waited well over 2 hrs! to get called for CT scan just to find out they couldn t use needle to inject solution in vain because it s NOT IN VAIN IT made my skin balloon! That RN was idiot ! So I had to go back to room where I waited more for another nurse just for her to tell me it will be about 45 minutes for CT SCAN I NEVER HAD results! AGAIN NO COMMUNICATION! I said , I never had CT scan and She just gave me a blank look at that point I'm ready to go home (its so late I'm going hit all that tracy commute traffic which will take 2 hrs to get home) Kids to pick up from school and no help! I tried to explain what happened but she had attitude! NO Compassion or understanding ! She went to get doctor and tried to blame me for their negligence. after Finally they redid needle in arm I waited more time for CT scan! They finally after 1 hr took CT scan completed waited another hr for results and FINALLY AFTER 7 + hrs in ER that was NOT busy I left still in PAIN with 2 prescription, 1 antibiotic and 1 pain medication which all could have been done without going to ER took prescription to rite aid in Tracy where I live because for some reason they couldn't save me time by calling meds into Pharmacy but, NOW I had to drive 2 hrs in pain Tracy Rite-aid and then finally home many painful hours later! Washington ER are rude , unprofessional, NO COMPASSION and Teased me which is form of bulling, Did a lot of unnecessary test so they could charge Me more! If I could avoid going to ER at Washington I will ! FYI , I have been to several ER in past especially when doctor calls ahead and have NEVER spent 7 plus hrs in ER maybe 2-3 hrs MAX! The worst Experience ever! Worse than Kaiser which I didn't think was possible!
Worst quality of service they have no humanity not helpful the nurse David was yelling at me because I asked him for help and when I requested his supervisor Carl he was the worst not helpful at all and I wasn't feeling well. at all went to emergency waiting for 1 hour nobody helped me and I had to leave I think if I was a dog it would be better that's how you get treated in the US.
