Washington DECA: Empowering High School Students for Success

Washington DECA is a non-profit organization that provides high school students with business and leadership opportunities to help them succeed in school, careers, and life. Founded in 1947, Washington DECA has been empowering young people for over 70 years by offering programs that develop their skills in marketing, finance, hospitality, entrepreneurship, and management.

The organization's mission is to prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality or management. Washington DECA believes that every student should have access to quality education and training that will enable them to achieve their full potential. The organization's programs are designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in today's competitive job market.

One of the key benefits of participating in Washington DECA is the opportunity it provides for students to network with other like-minded individuals who share their passion for business and leadership. Through competitions at local, state and national levels as well as conferences throughout the year; students can connect with peers from across the state while also learning from industry professionals.

Washington DECA offers a variety of programs designed specifically for high school students including:

5) Scholarships: Each year Washington DECA awards scholarships ranging from $500-$2000 based on academic achievement & involvement within the organization.
