Warwick Arts Centre Review

Considering all the building work everything was good. Cafe offering good choices. Toilets nearby. Quite a walk from car park to cinema.

They're doing it up - again - so refreshments limited

Very modern plenty of parking. Some building work going on at the moment and a road closed which means all car parks filtering out altogether.

Brilliant venue..just one thing is maybe sort some sound at back of theatre..Sarah Millican was fab but missed few bits due to distorted sound reaching..

Sarah Milican - great show, even for two guys me and partner very much enjoyed. Some parts are too 'girly' even us gays couldn't relate. Cannot fault the facilities and seating, very well laid out never have a blocked view!

Fantastic concert by Gary Numan, eldest daughter Laura came with me & loved it too.

Great place to come and enjoy a variety of events: concerts, plays, comedy, dance. Also good food and drink, a piano in the foyer to busk on and a thriving student life. Definitely worth a visit.

A very nice, modern facility.

The name can be confusing as it's on the outskirts of Coventry rather than Warwick (it's part of the University of Warwick campus)

They seem to have a good variety of acts on too.

Excellent university Big Band, the rest pales in insignificance.

Easy to get to, good clear free parking after 6 Mon-Fri (not sure of weekends), staff very helpful and friendly. Staff member standing by box office line went to get the collection tickets to speed things up as others in box office were busy serving. Good value tickets and refreshments. Very clean. Good job all round guys.

Great venue with good facilities. Cafe especially nice - that was the best mocha I've ever had!

Very good arts venue for gigs comedy, plays. Recommended. The car park is a bit of a pain though!

Visited on so many occasions, love the place, staff friendly, sweets always seem to be great views with amazing legroom... Loses a star only for the parking issues on exit (which to be fair are generally caused by impatient drivers..)

Amazing Art Centre at the art of university of warwick

Friendly and helpful staff, great acoustics and views, excellent parking. From the initial booking to leaving the venue after a brilliant Ed Byrne gig the entire experience was brilliant, thank you to Warwick Arts Centre & Ed Byrne

I enjoyed my experiences here. The food is good, I've enjoyed the cinema and theatre productions.

One of the largest art centres in the region, currently being extended so when the venue is re-opened again, don't be surprised that it will be bigger, better and busier!!

Best cakes in all campus and a wonderful selection of shows every week!

Great venue for comedy nights,but toilet and drinks amenities in Butterworth Hall lacking

A lovely evening listening to singing and A fantastic orchestra. The conductor was very committed and professional.

Always enjoy our visits here...staff continuously helpful.
Only comment, coffee in newly sited cafe VG, but sarnies very basic in really wet soggy cut bread...not like the wonderful Cranks' labelled ones of ago...really unpleasant.

A great venue with great acts through regularly. Well worth attending. Between the Butterworth Hall, the theatre and the studio there are always shows ongoing and though the cinema is closed for renovations at the moment, when it reopens it will have been upgraded from one screen to three!
Staff are friendly and will go that extra mile every time.

Great venue for small intimate events, good views of stage from all seats, nice setting, good cafe.

Our visit this time was for the Christmas lectures. We all really enjoyed it, highly recommend

Nice place, extortionate prices for food and drink, and don't tell you when you buy a drink that you can't take it into the theatre with you you though.

Nice compact venue. Could do with bigger eateries as it gets very busy. Parking can be a bit painful.

A great evening at Warwick Arts. Parking is free. Cafe overcrowded and limited menu. Comfortable theatre with excellent entertainment from Andy Parsons.

The landscape around it beautiful but the building is in renovation till 2021.

Excellent gig venue and I've yet to attend a comedy show (and I've attended a few!) where either the support or main act fails to mention something along the lines of... "where are we, Coventry or Warwick?! MAKE YOUR MIND UP!" which was funny the first few times...but now...

Went here tonight to watch a Ballet performance, the campus is massive and quite hard to find exactly the correct building to get too! , parking here is horrendous! the walk to find the exact place was very confusing , unless you know this More

Yes we visited the cafe prior to watching a ntlive performance of Hansard. Really nice place for this kind of thing. And the renovations continue with work on the carpark too.

Have been to comedy shows and cinema nights out at this place. Convenient for students living on campus. Good selection of events, even family friendly ones.

Normally superb arts venue in the midst of a huge redevelopment. I'm sure it will get better but it's not great right now. And they've stopped selling Black Sheep beer!

So clean & litter free. Hardly believe its Coventry. Well sign posted so I didn't get lost - which for me is a 1 off

Massive complex but easy to navigate around. Saw Beverley Knight there, great auditorium. Excellent views wherever you sat and great sound. And of course she was superb

Not the easiest of places to navigate around when busy but usually have a good range of acts on. Food sold is massively overpriced however and there's little chance of finding a place to sit down in the lobby before a show.

Not a bad venue, the building works and lack of close toilets are a pain but hopefully will be better when finished

Nice venue, clean and modern. Plenty of legroom, maybe just a little bit too hot for my liking and the bar service was slow due to under staffing. But overall a good experience.

Building works pretty shambolic for arts centre visitors. Lack of signage and outdoor toilets make it tricky for anyone, let alone disabled. And it's going to take ten months. Oh dear!

Performed here with a show for children. An excellent space. I drove to the space so not sure what public transport links are like but there's a lot of 'uni' buses always on the go. Good cafes and coffee on site.

Accessible & interesting surroundings as it's in the middle of students' campus.

Found it souless. Much preferred it before the renovation, very bland now.

Most hospitable,if a tad expensive in the cafe. Access to the building confusing during the building works, but I'm sure it will be worth it in the end
