This course is going downhill! The starter was rude to us. The grass was dead and painted green to fool the ignorant. They only have three pin positions and they don t even fill it in with real grass. After our round Curtis, the cart attendant, threw away a half full beer and a Gatorade that I was still drinking, without asking if I was done. Go play somewhere else instead!

Had a great time, buddy and I both agreed this course was tough but what a kick in the pants,I smashed a couple of big drives down the middle and ended up in a pot bunker, lol now I know how the pros feel.I'm the kinda of golfer that plays for fun and hitting that shot of the day,and I got a lot of chances to do that.. The staff was the best, clubhouse was cool ,and the rough was high. This course is now my favorite I've ever played.. If you go to vegas and your a golfer that wants a challenge, make this a must stop..

I played Royal Links 10 days ago. Definitely rates 5 stars. Greens and fairways were perfect, the staff was very pleasant and helpful and the green feels were fair. I will definitely play there again on my next visit to Vegas.

Thought it was ok... Actually don't think its much different then most courses in Las Vegas. Grounds were very soft and wet, which eliminates the way you would play a Links style course. But on the other hand they sure made it look like a links course as best they could. Course was in Good shape as well. I wouldn't play it again though for the price.

Played the course on an extremely windy day, if it would have been 40 degrees and rainy it would have the perfect Open Championship. Staff was friendly, course was in great shape and the food was great! You have to try the nachos. It is worth playing at least once.

Great course with a lot of challenges. Can play really tough with some wind. I would suggest buying a yardage book to help with your round, as a lot of bunkers aren't visible from the tees. And i would say avoid these bunkers if you can. They are penal for sure. Very nice staff in the pro shop and restaurant, although they had no draft beer.

One of the best hidden parts of this course is the outdoor dinning/drinking patio. Fantastic food menu, amazing local beer options. Beware of the occasional wild Coyote. They are afraid of people but not your burger...

Ask for Mallory, Danielle or Karlee will help create a memorable, positive experience.

Bob and Greg will be there to support you golf game, improve your score with insider tips and hints.

Keep making things Royal and keep local Beer involved!

The course is everything it was advertised to be; great layout and scoring areas. The staff makes you feel like it is your home club from the minute you drop off you clubs. I highly reccommend this course to any golfer looking for a first class experience and a challenging layout in classic links tradition.

No sense of hospitality! Shortage of golf carts. Waited 45 minutes and still no cart. Asked to get a ride to the practice range and was handed a bag of range balls and told I could walk to the range. We started 20 minutes late because no carts until then. At the end of the round I wanted to use the restroom but clubhouse was locked up ...really?

If I drop a C note on a round while on vacation, I want to be paired. Especially if I ask to be paired. Instead I was told to "just go off the back by yourself. A twosome just went out but just jump over them if they don't let you through." The course is in whatever condition. Fairways painted. Brown everywhere not painted Ehhhhh. In general overrated.

Great course, clubhouse, and service! I had such a fun round and experience. I was able to find a good deal online for about $80 on a cool Saturday morning in January. They spread out the groups far enough which made the 4.5 hour round that much more enjoyable, especially for first times who need a little extra time figuring out club choice, reading the green, and time to search for your ball.

Very nice course just east of the strip, the fairway and greens feel like felt and roll about the same. The greens were very fast but roll true, it takes a bit of getting used to. The service was 5 star, very nice people working on the course.

Enjoyed a round there today, had an order of fish and chips before playing, it was very tasty. Course is challenging since there are several blind shots, so a bogey is good score on many of the holes on your first round. Staff were friendly, it was backed up so they suggested we start on 7th hole or 10th. As a result, our round was under 4 hours. Course in good shape, greens quick.

previous positive reviews must be fake. 8 handicap player here. Course in poor shape. Greens running about 14. Most down hill putts will run off green. Fairways very rough and painted green to look better. Course allowed groups of 6 to play together. Took 3 hours to play 9 holes. We quit after 9 (even though made eagle on 9)
When we booked they didn't mention they have no liquor licence. in Vegas??!!
We told staff why we were leaving. They went to get GM but said GM won't come talk to us.
Only positive was staff were very nice

We had a really fun round here. The staff was terrific both on the course and in the clubhouse. Different style of golf, challenging in it's own way. Pretty nice Callaway rental clubs if you want to take that option. We'd definitely go back

Course is in great shape... I played new years day and we finished in 4 hours... No waiting on any holes but it did take sometime to find balls that were hit in the extremely thick rough grass that made for some interesting shots. Overall fun course

Royal Links is one of my top 5 courses in Las Vega...

Royal Links is one of my top 5 courses in Las Vegas for sure. As a local casino employee they offer special rates way better than most courses that still jack up their rate even in mid summer when rates are suppose to drop. But the #1 reason Royal Links is clearly the best us the course conditions.....aside from many pot bunkers that have zero sand in them which need to be addressed the course it's self is in unbelievable condition. I've played it every week for the last 2 months....it's been over 110 degrees & the course is so plush & green & perfectly manicured its amazing. Every other course in Vegas is burn to a crisp....but not Royal Links ..

My wife and I went to royal links to buy a souvenir on a day that the course was closed due to bad weather. We were greeted by Karim and his wonderful staff. They actually offered for us to go play as many holes as we could get in before the rain came back. The staff was very welcoming and friendly , we Definitely will be back on our next trip to Vegas to play the full 18. We loved the links style course and the descriptions on each hole. Great job guys! Thank you very much for a great experience! See you soon!

I am giving a 2 stars only becuase the shop refunded our group.

Pros- great looking course, beautiful views.

Denise was a very big help in our bad experience. I would rate her help as 5 stars.

Cons- not enough staff, not friendly. They used reclaimed sewer water to water the course and immediately starting on 3 you could smell the sewer. Then while walking to green of hole 4 the sprinklers turned on a soaked my bags, phone, etc. This caused itchy skin and smelling like crap. After complaining for 1 hour, they finally refunded our money. Will not be coming back and do not recommend unless contacted.

About as close to playing in Europe as you can get without being there. The Staff was more than excellent. First class all the way from the moment we pulled into the parking lot. When in Vegas, this is the place to go.
