The perfect business model! Pay money to walk around a man made pond and pay more money for everything! Genius.
The perfect business model! Pay money to walk around a man made pond and pay more money for everything! Genius.
I suggest riding Test Track and Mission Space. If you like shopping, World Showcase. If you like slow rides, Spaceship Earth.
Epcot is a wonderful experience that when planned well can be truly magical. I highly recommend the world showcase, and save up so that you can plan on spending money without worrying about it. Of course, Epcot and all of Disney is best spent with family, because the real magic lies within the shared experience and memories made.
Of all the Disney parks, I would say this is my favorite. All the rides are cute, but there are no roller coasters. So if you're looking for excitement, I wouldn't recommend going to Epcot. On the other hand, if you want to go to a park and ride classic rides. I would totally recommend Epcot.
Epcot is in such a growing stage making access to the park tedious but once you get through To the attractions, the joy and energy returns. Access to rides is quick due to lower numbers. Food kiosks add to the fun of world showcase. It continues to be a delight even though so much is not open and at full capacity. I truly miss the international cast members but still love Epcot.
Epcot makes you feel as if you are traveling the world in just a couple steps!!! The best food is here if you are willing to try out of your comfort zone. Everyone and everything is out of this world beautiful
amazing place to learn about different cultures and interact with people from all around the world!
This park was my dark horse. I didn t expect much out of it and yet it came galloping forward in my memories. Out of all 4 parks, I walked to most in Epcot ironically (even though it was supposed to be my easy park ). There was so much interesting things to do that even my 5 year old could do. We loved Soarin so much my girl went 4 times. I cried each time at the end of it :o) and it happened to coincide with the wine and food festival, which Made international showcase more interesting. The Frozen ride was unexpectedly fun and my girls favorite!
I love Disney and all it's parks. It's truly a magical place. Epcot is a fun place to go around the world. I went for the food and wine festival. Had a great time!
My favorite park in Walt Disney world. The world show case has some of the best food and drinks in all of Florida maybe besides Miami. There is so much to do and see and the rides are also great. I would definitely go if you go to Disney world.
Right now it's the least favorite not much to do the whole front is basically under construction. So it leaves the countries and then most of the staff that was at the countries were sent home because of covid. Looking forward to it to return to normal with all the new parts opened as well
We got lucky enough to be in Epcot during the food and wine festival in the early fall. Amazing food options from literally all around the world. Fun rides, moderate lines for everything, lots of culture for the kids and some cute character meets.
Not a good place to go with two small toddlers but was still a magical experience
My favorite park out of all of them. During our stay we had booked 2 days at epcot and one at all the others. We extended our passes and added another day at epcot
Epcot is still one of our favorite places to go in Disney. Some of the things are still closed because of COVID, but they've got enough food carts, restaurants, and shopping open to make it worthwhile.
There is a lot of construction going on. Crowds! The 9 year old says...it was very fun and I had a great time. Better than I thought I would. They are putting in playgrounds.
Its cool place. Hopefully they finish renovation soon.
I liked it. It was a nice afternoon.newer installations were neat.however many are showing their age.with the radical prices for alcohol, they should setup more ethnic pub experiences.not just a couple of kids in unlikely costumes Hawking beers from a cart.sometimes it works but often it was a couple of kids and a beer cart just like the last country. with so many chefs of high caliber working the park, why did so much of the food come out of a Sysco bag? Not bad just dramatic room to grow.
It's a nice place to go for relaxing and see many cultures of the world. If you want rides, rollercoasters etc is suggest magical kingdom of Hollywood
Epcot! My first time back in 20 years (in my 30s now) and the memories flow back instantly. While things feel a little smaller now that I'm older, the excitement stays the same.
Yes, Epcot needs a refresh to a new "future", but even while this is happening, the park is amazing. You get the feel of being in the future that was dreamed of so many years ago.
Delicious food and drinks, wonderful staff (as always), great fireworks shows and the wonderful idea of global inclusivity.
They are really struggling with the Covid directives, we don't blame them, but if you are coming you have to know what to expect.
If you can hold off on coming if it's a big trip, if you're local, come by to support this place and see it in an unusual state.
We like Epcot. Can't wait for the new coaster to open! A few more rides would be good but the world's are always fun to walk and check out.
We absolutely loved our visit. Epcot is a relaxing day without all the normal madness of a theme park. Guest services was on point taking care of all our purchases while we enjoyed our day. Thank you Disney for living up to all our expectations as always
I couldn't give it 5 stars for it's current construction and how they decided to use more, how can I put this, great staff but less localized cast staff than usual. On the other hand they got covid 19 protocol down pat I felt less likely to catch anything other than a good time.
As an annual passholder this was the first time I completely finished this park. I was impressed with the learning experience of the park. I had always said this was my least favorite park of the group. Now I must say I enjoyed the experience more this time. You just have to dig in and explore. I had always thought of it as the drinking park to which I don t indulge in.
This is the theme park for adults! I love all of the other parks (especially Magic Kingdom) but I LOVE Epcot for the food! I love the festivals they host here, and the rides are fun as well. If you have a chance to go to the Food and Wine Festival or the Festival of the Holidays for some tasty food definitely do so. If you are a pin trader, this place is also great for pin trading/collecting.
My favorite park in all of Disney. I can spend days here and still be satisfied. Spaceship Earth is going to renovated soon so I made sure to ride it as much as I could as it's my favorite ride in all the parks.
Love it! Very beautiful, but always sooooo many people. Weather was nice and sunny and of course hot! Don t forget to use your sunscreen! Better to wear a pair of comfortable sneakers because you will need to walk a lot, so that you don t miss any good view! We took a lot of pictures, it s really a wonderful place to take pictures! They made it really commercial as it has so many gift shops and restaurants, but the store design is so pretty and special and they do have many cute gifts!
A great park sadly there was construction whilst there meaning no sun cover.
If you're wanting to drink around the world during these trying times, you're better off hoping on a plane. Unless you enjoy standing in the sun for 45-60 mins at a time for a $16 beer.
Apparently Disney was doing a good job, but since they've increased their capacity (without also increasing activities or employees) it's honestly a miserable place to be.
Fun, fun and one more time fun! Super nice place and rides!
Nowhere else like it. It's a food and drinking focused park with some older rides that can use some love. World showcase is amazing and some of the rides still hold up, mission space, soarin, frozen. Enjoy the constant festivals and all the seasonal dishes and drinks that they bring with it. Looking forward to the two new rides as well.
There is a lot of construction... normally love it.... it is only a ... small like!
Just visited due to Candlelight Processional. It wasn't as crowded as I've seen before, but some parts were under construction. We had to hunt down where they put the temp Starbucks because a lot of the area where the original Starbucks was located, was under major construction, covered up, and blocked off. Still had a nice time there regardless; even though it rained some at the end of the night. I might visit again to see the changes made.
Felt COVID safe. Staff very friendly, and guests too. I just wish that things were a little more understanable ... And with a little more advance notice. You NEED a QR reader on your phone. You need your credit card and maybe another credit card option put onto the Disney app. I hated wasting time there working on that. A whole lot is closed. That's hard. Go with lowered expectations. And... At the price i got for FL residents... I enjoyed my day. Kudos to the Soarin' staff who let all in by closing time. That was Disney at its finest, never let a guest down. Greatest end to the night.
Under a lot of construction right now but lots of great things coming. Always have loved Epcot. Soarin is one of the faves. Great family park. Best place for character meet and greet.
Our favorite park! Shorter lines and less people in the park in general. Strict mask reinforcement for the little ones.
It was such a wonderful experience to come back to Epcot. We enjoyed our day
Such an amazing place. Must visit! Spend the whole day! Although it rained for most of the day it was still very rewarding. Enjoyed visiting all the different themed areas. Take a spaceship ride around the earth. Lots of nice restaurants here as well.
More of a relaxed adult park, nice change for the craziness off the other parks.
Under going a lot of work at the moment, hopefully it keeps it's different feel after the new rides :)
It's Disney. Even mostly under construction we still love being here. For anyone on a once in a lifetime trip, come next year. Most of this park is under construction and temporary walls are everywhere. We just happen to be Disney nut cases. Anyone else would demand at least 1/2 their money back.
Save your appetite and bring your walking shoes. An incredible attention to detail at every country, all of the staff resides from the country they represent and are so much fun to talk to
Truly the 4 parks are the most magical places on Earth... However I wish you could use your fast passes for multiple parks on same day we wanted half for ebcot and half for Magic Kingdom.
Best of the Disney parks but same thing applies. Tourist trap! Pay large fee to enter multicultural Disney store. A few rides with long wait times and everything else is just stuff that costs money. Go to universal studios instead, way better park experience.
Gorgeous, crowded, but very scenic. If you want pictures, this is the place to get em'! Rides? A few. Attractions? More than enough. And DO NOT MISS THE FIREWORKS. I suggest viewing them from the bridge between the international gateway and france.
Best place on earth! Delicious food, beautiful venues. Great shopping. Friendly staff. Great fireworks.
Rides are pretty good, the different countries are great, the fact you can walk around a Disney Park with a beer and no one judges you is great. Love Sorin, England, and Mexico! The food is amazing. By far better than any park
This is over at Epcot on Dec. 28, 2018. I went there on my Birthday and it was Crowded then because it is around the Holidays.
When it is really Crowded. Then that is when to pick a good time to visit the Parks. The less people that is in the Parks when you go the more rides you will be able to go on.
I would say late Winter to early Spring Between Monday's to Thursday's. Walt Disney World is starting to charge different rates for different times of the Year and different days of the Week. If you want to save yourself some money go when they offer the lower rates.
EPCOT has been my favorite park since my first visit. The construction is a little bit of a pain but the restructuring is for the anniversary so all forgiven. The different countries, the foods... its a little too much to take in in one day, i'll be back
I did the thing. I drank around the world. Between my wife and I, we shared or had a drink each at every country in the world showcase. It's a silly (and expensive) accomplishment, but I had a great time doing it!!
Upon entering the park you're faced with an option to go either clockwise or anticlockwise. We chose anti and never regretted our choice. But before you begin your journey around the world a word of caution. For those of you like me with walking difficulties do yourself a favor and rent an electric mobility chair either in town, bring yours from home or rent one from the park before you go too far. The entire loop is 5+ miles.
Make certain to arrive early to the park to take advantage of the cooler morning temperatures and smaller crowds.
Ride every ride possible regardless of age as you will have fun. Enjoy all that each country has to offer plus you may even learn something along the way.
As like any theme park food prices are high. If you like Mexican food like I do I highly recommend dinner at the Mexican restaurant and it doesn't matter what you order because it is all good and authentic Mexican food.
The best themepark! We LOVE so much about Epcot- the amazing restaurants, Candlelight Processional, World Showcase, The Frozen Ride, Test Track and of course Soarin'. I highly recommend visiting Epcot and can't wait to go back!!!
Liked this place more than the other parks. This is where you go to relax from the rest of Disney. Pretty good street shows too.
Absolutely awesome park!! ALWAYS GO DURING THE FOOD AND WINE FEST! This is an absolute must, get a dining plan and just go to Epcot and try EVERY snack you will be in absolute hog heaven trust me! The rides here are just okay the most thrilling ride is probably test track, mission space is thrilling if you like rides with a strong g-force. Although, it is filling to do mission space but you may want to go with in empty stomach, or find yourself in a real sticky situation. If you do go on a full stomach they have barf bags in reach. On the ride, just be ready to grab one, then on your way out you can laugh at the next set of victims going on the ride haha haha!
Epcot is full of wonder and insight. Into the past, present, and future. As it exists now it is a boatload of fun, and the future of the park is so bright. I love Epcot!
This is a great theme park. Lots to do and also educational there is a few good rides in The Land.
Such as soarin this is a flight around the world the living with the land ride is a little behind the scenes of what Disney are doing with the food they serve you.
The walk around the late will take you around an hour to complete they are very good designs with the only let down being United Kingdom.
The fireworks at night are great to watch and the light show too.
Always a different experience no matter how many times I go. I an never let down. As my wife puts it"It's my happy place to mentally escape to".
So awesome! And the food was so much better than the main park. Cheaper too!!!
My first time being here for the food and wine festival. What an experience! Only wish they offered a one time purchase for sampling of the different tastes around the world for the festival. One price for a sample of a food and beverage from each one you wanted to stop at, would be nice to not have to pull out money each time. However! We (as adults ) did the Remy's hide and squeak and had fun finding each of his ingredients. I imagine kiddos would have fun with this, as well as the passport kidspots at each country. As always, park was very clean and staff was friendly!
Even during all the construction it's so fun here. The world showcase is truly immense and beautiful.
I don't remember much of it. I did enjoy drinking almost everywhere you walk in there though. My bank account sure remembers it.
Epcot forever was great. The staff were kind and polite, I do want to mention that if you ever go on Mission: Space, the spinning bit actually means the simulator is also like a centrifuge so your legs may feel dead afterwards so I recommend going on the less intense training.
I've been to Epcot several times and I would go back again! I like the small worlds and the different restaurants to try foods from all over the western world. My favorite area was the Canadian area and gardens.
World showcase was great, getting through what was future world took a little time. Understandable, but made the experience less Magical.
Food and wine is one of my favorite times of year. Always have a great time. Its strange during covid but atleast its not packed.
A great place to go while visiting Disney. The food offered is good and you can eat from all around the world in one place. This park doesn't have alot of rides, but it's worth the visit.
What an amazing experience with the reduced crowds. After being to another park earlier in the year, before Covid, where the crowds are just crazy. Was truly amazing at Epcot, it felt like the magic is back!
Wish it could be like this for ever, less the masks :-)
Just a few pictures to share from such a beautiful place! Epcot is a great to be able to experience different cultures all in one place from around the world. Could spend days just taking my time there going to through each store and bar sampling drinks from around the world. Definitely a great place to spend time there now as an adult. Had a wonderful time at Teppan Edo for dinner! The food was delicious and the service was fantastic and very enjoyable to watch. Everyone there was very kind!
I was unable to attend Epcot as a child, but was able to visit it now. I had a blast. I enjoyed the attractions that were available during my visit. The food and wine festival was ongoing and allowed me to experience foods and drinks that would have been lost upon me as a child. I am glad that I waited. I will attend again one day and I am looking forward to that visit.
Go now before it gets crowded again!!! Wait times are nothing and drinking around the world is the best!
What can I said. Go & become a kid again. You will love it. Every place. food you eat thing to see and do. "THE MAGIC IS THERE FOR ALL AGES.
Always love EPCOT. Although I'm not a fan of how much is closed off for renovations, I know it is just going to make things better. Disney certainly never seems to stop updating!
It was amazing being able to walk around for the food and wine festival for this year and being able to try out many types of food from different countries around the world. It's definitely something to get into and not be afraid to try because you might find something amazing in a kiosk then you would in a restaurant.
I loved Epcot in the 80's and earlier 90's but it seems to be stuck there besides the Frozen Ever After ride and Soarin. My kids still enjoyed all the rides and I loved not being crowed but maybe a few updates are needed. It looks as if some are under way and we will visit again.
Love this place so glad it was not crowded I was able to ride the rides and enjoy the foods without standing in long lines ...the only thing I hated but I know was necessary was the mask it was awfully hot and very hard to breathe due to my asthma it was a little difficult for me but that's not Epcot's problem I really enjoyed it will visit again when it gets a little cooler
Make sure you have a traditional face covering and not a balaclava style. Food and Wine festival was great and with COVID lines are really short if you're willing to take the risk. Be patient though, they frequently stop the rides to clean them. I honestly thought the park would be emptier but 99.9% of people followed the face covering requirements.
Loved Food and Wine festival 2019, small bites and drinks are worth then price IMO - but be ready to spend a little if you're like me and want to sample everything. Of the many things I sampled I only hated the naan from India, it was cold, tasted store bought & not on par with what I'd expect from Disney. Loved the coffee beverage with the giant donut too. Avoid on the weekends, terribly packed.
Kids enjoyed this park but not as much as other Disney parks. After going to other Disney parks, we expected much more. Going to mars literally felt realistic, it satisfied my curiosity of what it would be like to go to outer space.
My favorite theme park. I'm a local with an annual pass. I really enjoy the food festivals; not cheap but so many great flavors when they are available. Usually less crowded than Magic Kingdom but even when crowded I enjoy watching and talking to the other guests.
Would enjoy some more intense rides.
Spaceship Earth is absolutely fascinating and the best part of the whole park.
Don't forget to stop in Little Canada and see a miniature Banff Castle.
Epcot is as amazing as ever. There is construction, limiting most of the middle of the park near the Ball. But the world showcase is still excellent!
Fun place to take the kids, though it feels a lot busier than in the past. I think this is because of the construction going on. There are a few rides/experiences that are closed or completely gone and this increases the numbers for open/popular rides. Make sure you get you fast passes to help reduce the time you spend in line.
Loved the fact that it wasn't as crowded as the other parks even though it was Saturday! I always love the Crepe's in France, the shopping in Japan and Mexico! My grandson loved the Sprinkler Pad. We spent about an hour there
Wife and I loved it. Allowed to walk around with drinks and different foods all day. Kids had a blast seeing Anna and Elsa. Few kid rides they had were entertaining.
All Covid related safety measures are taken seriously and the fact that the capacity is lower right now, it's a refreshing way to visit. The park is beautiful and clean and staff is always helpful.
Lovely place for a lovely day!!!
First off, plan the trip using the app. I was in town for a conference and I had a spare afternoon. I followed the app time to avoid the crowd. Some rides are more popular than others. I went to all the rides when they are less than 20 min wait with the only exception of Frozen. Frozen never dropped to less than 60 mins!!
Expect a LOT of walking. A LOT. I practically ran from place to place to avoid the crowd. I don t think it s an option for family with lots of kids. But you can still walk a bit faster or smarter to go for the rides with less people. When I went to the turtle talk it was less than 15 mins wait because it was lunch time. When I left there was a long time waiting.
Avoid lunch time rush! Bring packed lunch or have a nice brunch in the morning. Lunch time is the best time for rides because everyone else is having lunch lol. If you want to avoid waiting in the line for 2 hours, bring packed lunch. And water. There are a few places in the park where you can fill out a water bottle. I just kept filling mine.
It s a really nice place even for adults! Don t miss it if you happen to be in town!!!!
Can't stop from going to the Rose & Crown every time we go to Epcot...oh well I could have worse habits.
Not much to do but I have to say that it is very sad that they are doing away with the ride soaring it's by far the best ride in Epcot
Really enjoyed the experience, at least during the week. Quite empty, with plenty of room for keeping away from folks. We enjoyed walking around and sampling during Food and Wine. Apple Blossom Sky and Guinness Milkshake in World Showplace and the food options in Mexico stood out as superb!
Loved the park ever time but needs some better rides but, they are building one now. The flower festival was amazing. Firework show is best of the 4 parks I think. Soarin is a must ride 4D.
Great place to spend a day seeing all the different places and culture from around the world
