Graduated with an AAS in mechatronics. I went through three different teachers in two years. Zero to no help on finding a job. They have little care about finding you a career. The most help they ll give is reviewing a resume and handing you random job postings. This is a transfer farm that will drain your bank account. Good luck getting anyone through email in an expedient manner. The S-Town of colleges.

Lives are changed here. Be willing open and ready. The faculty and student body are welcoming friendly knowledgeable and always ready with a great big smile. I changed my life by becoming a Wallace State Lion and Alumni and I recommend you and yours make that all decision- regardless of age, financial or education levels, TODAY!

It was great! My son and I went there today to get him settled in, prior to classes starting on the 19th.
The campus is small. The grounds and buildings are in good upkeep.
His dorm room was nice and fairly clean and he seems to have been blessed with a friendly roommate. In fact, all of the people we met thus far on campus were very personable. Other than the three and a half hours drive there and back the overall experience was great! I pray that my son is surrounded by only the best people who wish him no harm and will only help him along this path he chose to pursue his goals. Thank God we made it safely there, especially back, considering the storm we are having. God's Blessings to all of you.

I began attending Wallace State in January 2016 in their Engineering Technologies Dept. I'm older than most students in this program. Todd Hardman , Blake Ray, and the rest of the staff showed extreme patience and understanding while I adjusted to a way of learning that was different to the "old school" way of teaching to which I was accustomed. Great school. Great faculty and staff, I would recommend this school to anyone.

It's a cheap college and a good start to a college career. The financial aid office and basically anything coming from the Bailey Center is a nightmare to deal with. 95% of the time, they had no idea what I was talking about. And I just about had a come apart on multiple occasions with them. Make sure to hound them when you ask for your transcripts, it took them months for them to give me my transcripts. It should not take that long. Get. On. IT.

The bookstore is outrageous in its pricing, I literally found every one of my books on Chegg. Wallace was $250.00, and Chegg was $17.85.

Coming from someone who went to a challenging school system (Cullman City) the work was usually not hard. In fact, I am terrible with math, but I breezed through 75% of my first math class within the first 2 weeks at Wallace. Most of the facilities are updated except the men's dorms, the theatre, and the computer science center, which are, well, not very well taken care of. Missing floor and ceiling tiles, parking lots in need of repaving. Just a whole mess. Most of the professors are great and actually care about your progress.
