To all who are expecting a baby in the Wairarapa,
To all who are expecting a baby in the Wairarapa,
Aside from the dirt, feces, blood everywhere, mice infestation in the walls chewing the wiring, non-committed nurses and midwives behavior and being asked immediately after giving birth if my wife wanted to leave it was a great stay. Advice was never given and my wife was told 'no, you go get baby' when she couldn't get up due to pain. Though we would happily take offence to our treatment, especially when we're warned she better actually be in labor last child and then sent home this child despite being in early stages (because the midwife wanted to sleep) we'd rather see to it that such a special and important time as giving birth remains as smooth and enjoyable to future parents to be and that we have peace of mind that our tax dollars were actually spent on professional service.
I encourage you to lay a complaint once you enter the maternity wards, or have your baby in a barn because it'll be cleaner.
