Waffle House Review

OK, so being where it all started, it has to be good right? Well it is. They are so welcoming when you come in. Always cheerful and nice.

Only had one issue where my to-go order took too long and was wrong. But they did fix it and no others issues.

I Love this waffle house, but the service I had from the server CARMELLA was the worst and most rude I have ever had. She was rude to me, mean to my child and I saw her push her coworker! Like i'm thinking of calling corporate on this fool,. if you go here refuse to be served by this woman!

The pork chop dinner is a go to food for me and my family :)

Slow and very inattentive of what the patrons is asking for .

This is my opinion, is the best waffle house in this area I pass by 3 waffle houses to get to this one because I know the staff isn't going to be unprofessional or miserable. The people who work here seem to genuinely enjoy their job in customer service.
Not like some of the others locations, Thanks for making me feel welcome!

Staff was talking about their personal problems on the job and everyone could hear them and I don't think I was professional

Love the Cook he listens to the waitress and my food is always on point

Was really good food & our server was prompt, upbeat & friendly. The restaurant was clean. It was an enjoyable time for my granddaughter & myself.

Waffle House always has what I need. My go to is an AllStar with dark roast coffee.

I rarely write bad reviews but I had to take the time to say, this was the worst experience I have ever had at a waffle house. We walked in at 5:30 on Monday July 1st; we were greeted and sat down. Only customers in the whole place. The lady that greeted us and the male cook proceeded to chat amongst themselves (in very vulgar language) for 3-5 minutes before even coming to our table to bring silverware or ask for our drink order. They proceeded to chat amongst themselves very loudly and with profanity after we ordered. They forgot our toast and messed up our waffle, then I watched my toast sit in the toaster after it was done for 5 minutes before he brought it to us, thus it was cold. The coffee was burnt and old and they didn't come to check on us once after we got our food. If I was a manager or owner for that location I would be mortified! Never going back.

Waffle house is perfect for those late nights when you need a fresh, fast bite

Was in the decatur side of town not much to eat... Saw reviews & took a chance. Glad I did, food cme fast, great service. Great experience overall. Maybe I came at the right time? Around 3 pm looks like they had just cleaned the grill it was busy but not too busy.. By the way my waitress was paula and she was really nice, whoever cooked my old fashioned omelette & hash browns (scattered all the way) did a great job! I have faith in waffle house again! (Read my other review of the roach hotel waffle house on hwy 29)....

Interesting ,Can be a little more cautious when washing the dishes.

Been stopping here off and on for years. Great waffle house. Miss D retired last year and is really missed by the neighborhood and customers. Her great attitude is still reflected in the current staff. You might even catch her there on occasion.

Service is usually good. Food is always great! I especially love the grilled chicken and waffles and hash browns. Delicious!

I liked it. The server mya was really cool. If you're in Atlanta I would definitely suggest trying it. It's not the first but it's close enough

Waffle House #1000 is just a couple blocks from the Waffle House Museum where it all began. It's Waffle House, "A great place to eat!"

Good breakfast but last time I went their card machine was down and I couldn't get breakfast.

This place is doubtless one of the most attractive place to eat in the neighborhood. Anytime I come to this place I am incredibly happy. They preserve their very high standard service and the highest level of meals they offer. You surely will enjoy this this restaurant. Highly recommended.

I received the best hospitality here at Waffle House from Ivy. The team was awesome and the food is delicious.

When I can sneak away for the occasional breakfast on my own, I indulge in waffles. Double waffles, grits, creamy scrambled eggs with cheese, and hash chunked with ham, oj and coffee. After that, I'm stuffed and ready for a nap. This WH like most, know their regulars and ares happy to see therm. They are friendly and the service is good for the most part. One or two of the younger servers could try to remember they are at work, and put their cell phones down. Customers notice that sort of thing and it doesn't go over very well.

Everytime I eat here its awesome. The food is great and the customer service is awesome. The workers genuinely care about your needs and if there is a delay they are sure to inform you in a timely manner.

The staff here is not friendly at all. When you come in, they speak but no one come and takes your order. They just stare at you and after waiting 5 or more minutes, someone will take your order. They can't say because they are busy, because that is not true. The place was empty and the staff just stared as if they didn't want to take order. The food is good. I will just go to the on Memorial and Candler rd, they are very friendly.

This Waffle House in Avondale Estates will ALWAYS be my favorite! The staff is amazing! The serving portions never disappoint. Right around the corner from the house. Always courteous and very convenient.

Went here today and ordered a meal. I was told they were out of cups. What?! The server looked at me as if I was going to take a loss. I didn t care if the meal cost $5. Either give me the drink or deduct $1 from the meal. I wasn t budging.

Service slow in my summation, but my time had been derailed, causing me to go in, in a hurry.

Great spot for breakfast located just down the street from The Waffle House museum.

Staff was to involved in horse play to get our orders right

Haven't eaten here myself but picked up food for a friend and she was very happy that they got her order correct and satisfying. Nice staff, polite., nice environment.

Always have pretty good service here, definitely my favorite one to go to in the area.
