Good care. Many activities! This is very important because the residents are hardly able to undertake activities independently. Good spiritual care is available. Pleasant very well maintained gardens, restaurant where you can have lunch and snack, a quiet neighborhood and people are satisfied with the food that the residents receive.

As a caregiver through my employment agency, I am of course known in the Joy Court, it is a large typical Amsterdam nursing home that has already been renovated twice in my memory to meet the increasing demands of modern times.It has nine floors, each with a department. with a flower name a very spacious lobby with reception on the bg. In addition to a separate building specially designed for Alzheimer'sSelf and related patients, there is also a bar, where you can relax during the visit and a garden that is especially enjoyed in the summer. I only enjoy this during a break, of course, because I don't have the time to go down with patients myself, but I can see that it all contributes to a pleasant stay, which is not of free choice. of great use. Previously, a nursing home did not have such facilities and that was not an incentive for people to visit someone. There has really been a lot of improvement in that area. On the other hand, my tasks and those of all my colleagues have not diminished .... but that is another story ....

I used to have folk dance here, super fun and very unfortunate that I don't come there anymore ... Often a performance and then dear residents came to watch, miss that time very much

In this nursing home I met my wife in the early 1980s. I was looking for a part-time job to pay for my studies at the Free University. My wife came here, after first being rejected elsewhere, in training.
