The best licensing program for either fostering or adopting and even respite care. The facilitators for the program, Tom, Clinton Rice and Megan Taylor are helpful and accommodative of all your needs. If you are looking for a licensing agency make sure to give them a call their program is organized, logical, supportive and clear.
I stumbled upon a VisionQuest booth one evening at Meet Me at Maynards. The staff were so friendly and enthusiastic about my questions regarding foster care, as I've always been curious about what being a foster parent entails. I'd recommend the staff at VisionQuest to anyone, they're knowledgeable and willingness to work around my busy schedule, including Saturday meetings, and after work activities make them a prime candidate for busy individuals interested in foster care.
As a bonus, they were handing out sunglasses and water bottles too!

I've been thinking about Foster care for a long time, and finally decided to take the next step and get certified. I had a great time learning about Foster care as well as myself and my strengths in the VQ classes. I would (and have!) highly recommended that anyone interested in respite, Forster care or adoption contact Clint or Tom to get the process going! Plus, they play the BEST music, and have some totally sick dance moves.

I would like to thank all of the educators of this course provided by Vision Quest. The information given is invaluable and I am very knowledgeable about fostering/adopting; this course has determine my choice to adopt. I am knowledgeable of situations that may arise, whom to turn to for answers, medical and dental and the well being of the child.

I attended the foster care PS-MAPP classes with Clint, Megan, and Tom at VisionQuest and could not be happier with my experience. They managed to keep 10 weeks worth of classes fun, interesting, and valuable. I would not hesitate to recommend VisionQuest to anyone interested in getting involved with foster care or adoption. The PS MAPP training was not only full of a ton of help information, VisionQuest keeps in fun and engaging. Megan, Clint and Tom are very friendly and make you feel excited to be there. I would tell anyone looking into fostering to definitely go through them.
My husband and I attended foster care classes and learned quite a bit of new information and felt that the instructors prepared us to understand trauma and foster children's needs. The classes helped us to develop a support group for fostering along with understanding ourselves through role playing, self disclosure, and learning about our strengths and needs. The instructors were well educated, empathetic, informative, and great dancers (especially Megan). Thank you for letting us be a part of your foster care classes! It was something we looked forward to each week.
