Worked with Vision for almost 3 years. I had to deal with a huge amount of favoritism, nepotism and poor management; working at the property right across from their corporate office in Chattanooga. Sales team members are a joke as they literally never do their job and let GSR's take all of the blame for all of their mistakes, and look down on them because they don't get to sit in the back office of properties doing nothing but figuring out how they should take their unapproved two hour lunch breaks, making money off of renewed contracts from their predecessors while doing "sales calls" and be MOD's when they have no experience on dealing with actual hospitality based customer service. All employees with the last name Patel are automatically given benefit by moving up the ladder without any prior experience due to nepotism even if they are not related to the owner's family. Just watched a woman who worked from being a front desk supervisor become a GM in less than a year with 0 business or hospitality experience based purely on her looks without having to earn the position or work hard to get there while there are employees who have busted their backs; blood, sweat and tears for YEARS who have not even been acknowledged for their hard work and have not been properly promoted to positions they deserve. Had to watch a great supervisor (who had literally earned both Hilton and Vision value awards for being one of best front desk representatives) within the company have to leave because a PMC valet manager literally was given the supervisor's promotion to be an operations manager because the Valet manager was dating one of the sales reps! He was going to be forced to train the aforementioned valet manager for his own deserved promotion; absolutely saddening! Management was aware of this and did nothing! The GM at the time was the one who helped orchestrate it. Vision Hospitality has a long way to go in terms of how they develop management and how they treat their hard working staff. I would not recommend working for them if you're looking to move up within the company or want to be compensated fairly.
