Like TCC, make sure you know what your doing or what you want to do before coming here. They'll definitely get you to the next step/level of your future career and life!! Also this place is serious about learning while having fun. Therefore don't muck it up if you plan on having stank weed, unofficial parties and underage everything if you come here. There security and safety is no joke here. Say goodbye to your academic future if you act a fool here.

Sodexo Grill in the student center has AWFUL service. I was a paid attendant of an event my organization was hosting here, and they shut down and stopped taking orders with people still in line waiting to order. The people behind the counter were extremely rude, and the manager that showed up to close the till ignored everyone making an inquiry or complaint. If you attend an event here or send your kids to this school, send them with food because they won t eat reliably here.

Beautiful campus. Lots of major upgrades,resuscitation the new Towne bank Arena.

I've been working here now for 10 months and I have to say it is a great place to work and I couldn't be more happy to be here. The athletic staff has been so welcoming and asked if I needed anything as soon as I arrived.

Great smaller private liberal arts & sciences college with coordination with ODU. Large campus size but small class size gives this a really close knit family feel. Love the secure gated entry entry & campus security, making this a very safe option for our prospective student.

I loved it. As an adult student returning to finish my degree this was the perfect place for me. Smaller classes, nice campus, professors were all wonderful. It was exactly what I needed. I finished my degree, found a decent job, no issues at all. I would highly recommend it. I have heard that the on campus housing can be rough and some of the dorms are older but I lived off campus so this was never an issue for me.

NOTE- I am a veteran and used my GI Bill. I met several other students who were ex military doing the same. So obviously it is a vet friendly school which is great.

When I was going into 8th grade, I attended the Virginia Beach Leadership Workshop, I had an amazing experience and the campus was lovely.

This College is wonderful! My nephew moved into his dorm today, and it was such an exciting time! Everyone that we came in contact with was absolutely awesome! They were all so helpful. Shaun is one of the Resident Assistants, and he helped us move things from our cars to the dorms. He was great! You all made today very easy and special! The food in the cafeteria is delish too! Thank you!
