Great way to spend a day with family of all ages. Multiple levels with lots of cool stuff to look at and plenty of interactive experiences. IMAX is currently included in that was a big bonus. Always a couple of different types of shows to choose from. They also have a decent snack bar. I like that the exhibits are ever-changing. Then bringing my kids here for years and now grandchildren. It's a very large space so I've never experienced it being crowded even on busy weekends. Perfect for being able to social distance and still have a great experience. Also a very cool gift shop with a variety of unique items.

We visited in late April, 2021. A significant portion of their exhibits are completely inoperative and have been that way for years (see pictures). Do not be fooled by their "New Space Explorer Gallery". It contains many of the old exhibits, plus a few new video game type systems that have zero relation to any actual knowledge of space exploration. The shuttle landing exhibit that is part of this gallery continues to only be half functioning.

We ate at the "Cosmic Cafe", the food was cold and downright disgusting. My kids did not even want to finish the pretzels.

This place is tired, it has not been taken care of and is way overpriced, especially considering that so few of the exhibits actually work. Save your money, go someplace else.

Small museum but nice. IMax ticket is included which makes it worth it. Was disappointed a lot of the interactive exhibits were not functioning. Took my 9 year old he enjoyed it especially the imax movie. We went during the week so it was not crowded and social distancing was very easy.

Amazing. Always a fun time and definitely worth it to get a membership. We have kids from 2 to 11, they and the adults always love it. I did notice that a lot of the things now tend to be off or not working so well which kinda sucks. Also during covid, hand sanitizer stations throughout the center would be wonderful. Especially in high touch areas. Love their new robotics lab and so glad they kept the "sun room" as we like to call it.

I was going to leave a stealer review. The place was beautiful with a emphasis on African American mathematicians and pilots. An amazing learning experience for my son, right down to the IMAX theater. HOWEVER, upon leaving I figured let me spend my hard earned money on memorabilia from the gift shop. Not sure who the older Caucasian man was but he was screaming at, what I was told was a manager. That is completely unprofessional. I tried to mind my business up until the moment my son asked why the lady was being yelled at. I mean berated. Did he not know the place was open and full of patrons? That is unacceptable and disgusting . Absolutely disgusting and rude behavior. I will not spend another red cent until your manager/director/ whomever learns to handle things better. Such a poor way to end a treat. Keep your 10.00 robot arm.

Exhibits are good but could use more explanation, depth. Plenty of hans on activities for the children to enjoy, but again they aren't explained so it becomes more of a game than a learning experience. Definitely a good time and an easy half to full day outing.

Beautiful. Fun. Informative. Educational. Call ahead & ask about parking (I think you're suppose to use the garage across the street but we found plenty of street parking) - this may not be the case when you attend. Some of the exhits were closed (either under repair or closed during the virus) but it wasn't enough to deter our great time. Purchased tickets ahead of time. You can buy with or without the movie. My issue - not enough time in the day to enjoy ever single piece. A wonderful collection. Employees were very nice. Don't forget the gift shop (you can enter/shop in the gift shop without seeing the museum at all (not sure why you would but in case you want to purchase a quick gift).

I visited 02-21-2021 with a 12-year-old who had a great time. He enjoyed on the hands-on exhibits such as landing the Mars Rover, piloting a space shuttle, and landing on the moon. He also enjoyed the cockpit of the passenger plane. We were there from 1 to 5, and I m sure he would have stayed longer if they were not closing.
