I was really disappointed their sandwiches.. I don t usually write any reviews and this is the first time for me to leave negative ones. I mean.. who eats those quality and pay each $9!! Are you kidding me?!?! Of course they should taste good right?? Is this some kinda joking? Why I was starving sooo much and those weren t taste good?!?!I probably expected too much by nice atmosphere getting them but seriously tho.. Please!! I want them to taste their food BEFORE selling especially ham and weird cheese or prosciutto with mozzarella. Those were absolutely no flavor no taste..why...how could that happened with $10 sandwiches...even the boy who served the food I felt bad impression with no welcome no engagement. No wonder! He doesn t even know how to heat it up the sandwiches right. I m shocked!!
Everything you need but pricey which should be expected for the area
A hostel where poor to have a coffee, you have a bookstore and a large supermarket, the ideal is to buy and leave the car, cross and be on the beach, there are very clean public toilets.
Right on PCH highway. Perfect stop before hitting the sand in Malibu
We found everything that was needed in the grocery market, 1 stop shopping experience.
Food & Liquor
Kind of neat area. A little upscale and some of the stores are mostly construction firms
Went to Kristy's Cafe. Loved the views along the way.
Also known to me as Vintage Grocer , this place has everything one might need living in Malibu...great selection of meats, seafood, organic products line the aisles, great produce, great fruits and best of all their ready to eat counter offers fresh cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner, just get what you like and pay by the weight.
They also have a fresh squeeze juice bar to get your daily fruits and veggies in liquid goodness. Definitely check out their pastries and desserts if you have a sweet tooth. I can easily live outta this Grocer and get all my meals , treats, drinks and anything else imma need to replenish myself and get back out to the beach!
Its a nice area to sit and relax but parking is sometimes a drag. Good customer service. Hope next time they get my dragon fruit drink right.
The orange chicken and breakfast bar or out-of-this-world yeah 899 a pound is kind of steep but it's the cheapest figure out and it's hot and ready to go 24 seven super awesome convenience is the most
Trancas County Market is right off of PCH heading north. It has a big Starbucks where you off and have to wait. This is where there are a lot of other shops and this is where you actually see shops labeled the boo as in 2 and a half men. They're is a very good small grocery store there's a bank and a lot of other small shops as well it's a fun place to stop if you're on your way up from Santa Monica to Oxnard. They're is lots of parking, places to eat in a lot of different shops to look at.
Groceries were expensive but the market was very clean and well organized.
Cal is the guy that runs this shop and he is always so nice. He jokes and chats.
This place is fine, they've got a decent selection but not what you'd expect. It's as if nobody in the area appreciates flavor in their dishes. I'm referring to the prepared foods, of which there are many. Groceries are okay but this is really a funky specialty store. Plenty of parking and clean restrooms if you're traveling up PCH and need a stop.
It sucks because they are drug dealers and it's Wal Mart and we know they suck. It does have restrooms on the back side of he building that are rarely used. Don't shop there, but just flood their restrooms.
I love shopping and eating here. You can relax and watch the ocean over a cup of coffee or delicious snack. If you think it s too expensive go somewhere cheaper! You re in Malibu.
as far as my experience with the Trancas Country Market i would in my honest opinion say this place isn't that bad it has a good assortment of food and stops and such it even has ..... A STARBUCKS AWWW YEA but id say the upkeep is done quite well so thats great and it and a pretty chill place which is nice too its a nice place to come buy for like a pit stop on your road to greatness and adventure
Love this place. We are here every Tuesday. Today, we ate at Le Village Cafe, which is our first time - we had tuna salad, eggs Benedict, black bean hamburger and spinach quiche, all tasted really good. They also have a special house green juice that is so fresh and unique. They also have a unique beers. Tuesday, we normal buy foods at the salad bars in the organic maket. They also have great sandwich options at the deli. We then hang out at the Starbucks for a few hours. We love this place
We'll stop here for lunch when working in the area. They have a great deli counter and buffet selection.
Wide selection incredibly tasty treats but since they're pretty much the only option in the area pricey would be putting it kindly
Parking on weekends full of beach goers that park there because it's closer. Good food.Vailable as long as you dont mind paying a price. But a lot to choose from
Trancas is a Malibu staple. You must stop buy if you re in the area.
I always stop there on my way home to Ventura from dropping my husband off add LAX. It's a great place I use their restroom and I by a beverage and Orange chicken off the food bar. Their food bar is always fresh and the Orange chicken is delish!
LOVE Vintage Grocers and the staff. First enountered them at an event for AWOW and was very impressed with their community involvement. Try the deli sandwiches and pizza. Yum!
Think Wholefoods, but better. Great food, drinks and produce sold here.
Healthy and diverse products. Good quality grocery without ripping off the valet even thou being in Malibo. Will visit there again.
Nice place to stop when traveling on the Pacific Coast Hwy. Good coffee and muffins.
Local malibu standard ..hs a bit of everythg needed for tbe road...hence in a pinch ..as a bit pricey
Expensive for a grocery store but there prepackaged food and sushi is bomb.
It looks like a little town in the West. Nice place to walk. Rustic. Coffee shops and little places to eat
Late night stop on the Pacific Coast Highway. Lots of stuff. Very nice staff.
Noce Authentic starbucks with nice workers they look happy with their job 5 in the morning which is good
This place was super convenient. Needed to hit the Wells Fargo ATM. Then, I went to The grocery store because we wanted some drinks for later, as well. My girlfriend went to starbucks and got a coffee and met me back at the car. Right off Highway 1, and easy on/off.
Awesome, wonderful and excellent variety of fruits and vegetables. Reminds me of the grocery stores of old .. Unique place!!!!!
Great grocery store. Excellent prepared foods section
Bubba Starbucks there with a view of the beach oh, they are understaffed though so takes awhile to get your drink
Organic market & a Starbucks are the anchors. A few shops are scattered around. Decent parking area.
GF and I just LOVE this nice little Market. The Vintage Grocers is a HUGE draw, and their 'hot food' buffet is VERY addictive. They actually have chefs that prepare and bring out various dishes at all times from breakfast to dinner.... They normally always have orange chicken and a macaroni dish .... which are really yummy ! One morning we ate there and they had steak and eggs, that looked like it was something off of a TV chef cooking show. We HIGHLY recommend it ! YUM!!
My dad was a butcher here in the 70's and 80s and besides the fresh cooked food it looks the same.
