This was an amazing place! Matt gave us a tasting that was phenomenal. He had so much information for us. He told us everything we wanted to know and more. The wines here were also amazing. Different kinds of wine for any type of pallet. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the finger lakes!

Great tasting of good wine

Great tasting of good wine
If you buy 4 bottles your tasting is free.
Their credit and debit card machine for Canadian cards does not work. It's been 2 times that I go to this vineyard in three years and it never works. They misery to believe that it is their system that does not work, they think it's our cards that have a problem.

So bring a lot of cash if you want to buy, because it's hard not to buy, they have good wine

Loved this winery, 1st time visiting, it wont be our last. Delicious wine, especially enjoyed the blends and the bubbly. The Rose was wonderful too. Our servers Ronna and Carol were Fantastic. They shared soo much info about the winery and of course the wines. So friendly even though it was a busy afternoon, they treated everyone with the upmost importance. Well done !

This was one that we went in with high expectations. As an older winery we expected greatness. Instead we got a bunch of wines that all tasted pretty much the same. And were not necessarily good.

Most interesting was the white merlot. Was surprisingly good.

No stars due to incredibly rude man at tasting bar. We were there Saturday
Oct 5. at 2:30. No personality, no info offered on the one pour we actually had before leaving. Overall bad experience.
This guy should be fired. We left after being ignored so long between first and never delivered second pour.

We went there yesterday and the place has been transformed! It's very beautiful inside with lots of goodies in the gift shop area, wonderful wines, and a fantastic view of the lake all across the back of the wine tasting room. Very open and spacious. They are working on creating some wine and food pairings. Can't wait to try some of their new recipes paired with great wines. Worth the trip!

Over Valentine's weekend, my family spent time in the Fingerlakes. Bellangelo was an extraordinary experience . Matt Butts was over the top. We did a tour and wine tasting. His energy and wine knowledge was insane! One on the MUST DO stops on Seneca! Thank you Matt and Bellangelo winery for a special experience!

Very pleased that we visited, really enjoyed their wines. We appreciated the friendly and knowledgeable staff, they made our visit very pleasant. Sitting on their beautiful patio, which features sweeping views of Seneca Lake, sampling delicious wines, made for a very pleasant afternoon. Will definitely visit again, highly recommend.

Great stop for wine tasting. Matt spent time with us explaining the wines and making an extra effort to answer our questions and to make sure we had an understanding of the wine making process. Much different then the quick pour taste and get out feel at other wineries. Maybe that s why we spent so much time there and enjoyed the views. The tasting room is really well done. Thanks for the great experience.

Had a really enjoyable tasting experience here. Very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff. Great dry wines and nice views of the lake. Lots of distance between tables made us feel very comfortable, will definitely be back.

We went for a tasting today and were not disappointed. Carol, our server, was AMAZING and not only helpful about the wines, but also with info regarding the area (we live in NJ). Alton showed us around the reception hall because we are looking for wedding venues. Everything is beautiful!

I tasted their three dry reds and two semi-sweet whites while Dani tasted the same reds with the dry whites. The wines have a lot of technical information about the source of the grapes, and composition of the wine which was very informative. They are the oldest Winery in the area, but they source all their grapes from other local vineyards.

OVERRATED! Actually, I wouldn t know because my group was greeted at the door by a rude worker stating our group was too big . First, our group did not show up in a limo or a bus. We had a group of 10 with 3 designated drivers who weren t drinking. If you don t want business, fine. I encourage everyone to avoid this place to show them to NEVER turn away business. What happened to good customer service? To the owner, please don t comment on this post with an apology . It won t help your cause.

A new stop for us during our 2017 Finger Lakes Vacation, Villa Bellangelo has a great facility and friendly staff. Decoration and view are comfortable and inviting. Their releases were lagging by about a year, so most of the wines tasted were still from 2014 during our September 2017 visit. It seems that many of the wines were correctly made but suffered from poor quality grape growing in the somewhat challenging 2014 vintage, many exhibiting underripe, funky "green" aromas. Perhaps our opinion would improve were the wines being poured from the warmer 2015 vintage, but we would not plan a return visit to Bellangelo.

There are many wineries in the Finger Lakes but the best create a space that highlights the beauty of this region, the vineyards that produce the grapes and are fueled by the passion and artistry of a winemaking team. Villa Bellangelo is all of this and more. I attended a winemaker s dinner there in August and, over the course of a five-course dinner learned more about the art, chemistry and process of winemaking than I had understood after visits to many other wine producing establishments. Chris Missick, the lawyer turned winemaker, shares the knowledge and passion that has created a wonderful oasis of wine, food and creativity ovelooking Seneca s most scenic shore. A visit here is among the best wine experiences in this burgeoning region.

I really enjoyed the wines here and their outdoor seating has a wonderful view. Things I didn t like: the staff member touching our wines/glasses and closely talking to us without a mask (shields are not the same) and referring to the pour-out container as a Dixie Dump Cup. I would try the other location if I wanted to return.
