Coffee was not good. Well over priced, but can be expected for location. Service poor and unprofessional. Server was distracted having a conversation with three other staff

Take away coffee while doing an airport pick up - not too bad !

For the only cafe in Arrivals, running with only one person with several customers in the queue, I was Absolutely disappointed. The Quality of the coffee was also poor

Maybe if the staff are so unhappy that they have to openly and loudly whinge about their job.....they could just quit and get another job?
Hardly a welcoming image to the now second most livable city in the world.
Looking at the reviews here it's been happening for some time.
Get over yourself, and be friendly and welcoming to our visitors, if not - get a job that suits your lack of personality.

OK food, OK service, a bit expensive for what you get but I guess it is the airport and it is the only place to sit and eat or drink while waiting at the international arrivals

This cafe located in the international terminal was unkept, filthy and overpriced

I didn't like the service. It took a very long time for her to serve me even though there was no-one there. I nearly left. All I asked for was a hot Earl Grey tea which she made but it was not even filled halfway. And when I asked for a splash of milk, she poured a half cupful of milk in. (There was actually two of the 1 litre bottles next to the coffee machine and she said I could grab the milk there but poured it in when I nodded before I could say anything!)

Only one staff member serving busy crowds. Very expensive for low quality foods, offered alcohol except wine.

The staff were too busy back stabbing some girl (so loud it was awkward especially when the ring leader has a STRONG accent) . Staff looked like they hated their lives, seem to have no self awareness or general awareness of their surroundings. Each customer who approached these two ladies was clearly a burden in their lives. Coffee was okay I guess, although I can feel it doing something weird in my stomach as I write this.

Shocking service with the rudest lady I've dealt with in quite some time. She served us on dirty plates and argued that we had made the mess. Pies were cold and she then ignored us....no other people even there. Lesson learnt....thieves...

Coffee temperature feels like it comes straight from the depths of hell. Super hot. Undrinkable for quite a while

Worst coffee I have had in a long time accompanied by over-ripe almost inedible fruit for the kids. Huge waste of money.

very rude! They don't even have plastic bag!!! Customer service is horrible, they don't apologize for not having plastic bag! How am Isupposed to carry 3 sandwiches and 2 water bottle at a time?

Great staff and good food and coffee. A little pricey, but it's an airport so to be expected really. Recommended.

A $19 burger Jim, but not as we know it.

Easily the worst burger I have eaten anywhere around Australia in my 48 years on this earth.

Strange micro thin patty of tasteless overcooked grey meat product that took up just 1/3 of the cut surface of the bun. A McDonald's junior burger would have had twice as much meat as this tasteless morsel. 2 equally thin slices of yellow/orange non ripe tomatoe that were marginally larger than the meat portion, 1 lettuce leaf with a micro squirt of BBQ sauce completed this poor attempt at a simple staple of airports, hotels and pubs across the country. To say they failed would be giving the cook credit. Not one drop of juice issued forth from my burger, not one drop of sauce graced my plate as I attempted to choke 1/2 of it down.

I was going to complain in person but saw their reaction to a complaint first hand while sitting there. It was no where near positive and the customer walking away simply stated "Why bother, they don't care" to their companion.

Lastly check out the rubbish bin! You dispose of the unwanted unedible things they try and pass off as food right between the cutlery, napkins, coffee cup tops etc that they serve to you to use with your "meal" I went to get some salt and pepper and noticed many packets splashed with food and drink waste.

I would have given zero stars on this review but unfortunately that is not an option.

Good place to pass the time while waiting for your friends and family to arrive. The coffee is average.

Very slow service do not order food if your flight departs within an hour otherwise you have to rush eating.

Ordered 2 croissants chocolate and plain, both were stale and overpriced. Latte was average, not recommended.

The barista did not even know that chocolate sprinkle is required to make cappuccinos. When it was mentioned he clearly failed to realize his failure of customer care skills and acted like he is doing some kind of favor with that sprinkle. Can't I expect a minimum service at Villa & Hut what I am paying for ? ? ? Such an bullshit Barista.

Staff was too rude/ refused to serve me because I was talking on phone after placing the order .
Apparently they have policy not taking order if you re on phone

Great coffee but charging extra for soy milk is a bit outdated now

Customer Service was terrible - the woman that served me was so rude, no smile and I even had to ask her to repeat herself as she was muttering under her breath not even making eye contact.

All she did was take my order - she needs to get a new job she enjoys.

Food and coffee was fine

When asked by the server if i would like my selected roll "toasted or fresh" I assumed that fresh would indicate that the food was actually fresh not a hard bread roll with no butter, a thin piece of slimy ham and a tired piece of lettuce. It wasn't palatable neither was the price i paid for it. customers deserve better V&H.

Don't waste your time and money here. I ordered a chicken burger, $22 worth and chips are not even cooked.

Shocking service and staff was slightly patronizing and did not seem to care at all. They would unapologetically slam down the coffee with some of the contents spilling out, further adding to the filthy counter. Coffee itself of similar quality to 7 11 coffee except burnt. Prices are what you would expect from an airport cafe.

The staff were very rude. My server was Pamuk. We asked for a small and then tried to change to medium- she refused!! "Its gone through - nothing to be done." After a long and tiring flight it was disappointingly poor customer service and not at all what I expect from a Melbourne coffee shop! Will now avoid Villa & Hit at all costs. Their staff need better training- especially if they are the first people visitors to our city will meet.

Ordered a flat white, and I got almost half a cup of froth. I had to remove rubbish from a table to sit at and in the 20 minutes I sat there with only another couple in the cafe, the tables remained uncleared and the so called 'barista' stood around doing nothing for most of that time

Disgustingly shocking service at this place. Staff were calling out orders and audibly mocking people's names and then dared to complain about not being thanked for being served by the customers they were mocking. Qantas terminal departures - avoid at all costs

PLEASE AVOID - Grabbed a quick coffee from here after work and it was TERRIBLE! The most bitter coffee I've ever had. Just awful.

I work as a Barista so it is likely a combination of over extracted coffee; from too much coffee as grinder would not be set up optimally and also not cleaning the equipment.

They rely on desperate flyers and no repeat business. Small crossiant was $5.20?!

Don't think the lady making the coffees that day knew what she was doing. I never complain, but that time I even went back to tell her that I was not given what I had ordered. She happily made me another flat white, which, however, tasted again like a brew I could have made heaps better myself with a plunger. Definitely not worthy of a $4 flat white!!
