Viktor Gribenko, M.D. P.C. Review

I was VERY LUCKY to find Dr.G, he might tell you how it is but, he is absolutely speaking the truth!! Trust me it s a lot better than making others rich because of your problems.. I am very content with him & I ve been living through this nightmare for a very long time, he speaks the truth sometimes people don t want to hear that but he does make you face yourself, more than any councler ever has in my opinion. He has even got me to the point of Quitting smoking cigarettes!! So if you are ready to stop what you re doing FOR REAL!! He is absolutely the Doc to see!!!

Resposnsible doctor. After taking a patients blood test a knowledge patient with a possible threat and give a treatment option, so i dont know what is that woman in previous feedback is talking about. (I dont really think she does either). The only reason blood test came out clean at other doctor's is because patient was prescribed antibiotic. As of my experience with dr.Gribenko is very pleasant. Helped me get my head straight and treat my problems. Even enjoying coming to office for simple conversation with a wise person.

A caring and professional doctor. I have been a patient of Dr. Gribenko's for over a year now and under his care he has helped me with some of the most difficult times of my life. He has always done right by me and has always helped me when it was within his ability to do so, so I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Gribenko. Great Doctor, would recommend to anyone searching for a psychiatrist. A+++

I have been a patient of Dr. Gribenko for a little over a year now. In 2013 I hurt my shoulder and was told by the ER doctor it required surgery. I left the hospital and visited my personal Dr (A local major sports team head surgeon) at Hospital for Special Surgery and he advised me that surgery wasnt required. As long as I can manage my pain (No pain medication). Alot of athletes do not choose surgery. Now I was happy,took my Drs advise and recommendations and moved on.

I managed my pain to the best of my abilities but wanted another opinion. Dr. Gribenko was great. He took his time and didn't rush my appointment. He explained my shoulder issues and taught me alot of how it works. He too, did not recommended surgery and had the same reasoning as my personal doctor at HSS. I immediately knew I was in the right hands with Dr. Gribenko.

I now eat and look alot healthier thanks to Dr. Gribenko. My shoulder feels better than ever. I can't thank him enough for helping me. So happy I didn't listen to the ER Dr to have surgery, took unnecessary medication, 6 months of physical therapy and that was no guarantee it will be normal again. While many would have chosen this route and thought it was their best plan of action, I am glad I did not.

Today, I continue living without any meds for my shoulder. I am back to being active again and not worried about my shoulder anymore. Thank you again Dr. Gribenko. I gladly would recommend him to anyone.

Extremely judgemental, made me feel like less of a person because of my situation and that I have relapsed. It's better for them that I keep taking medication and that I come back every month in order to keep money flowing. I would prefer to go to a different doctor that would keep their opinions to themselves. I'm not proud of relapsing but I don't need anyone making me feel like crap because of it. And telling people that they should take these drugs for years is not in the interest of anyone except the pharmaceutical company. I gave him $100 dollars to see him and was given a three day supply when I asked him if I need to pay for my visit in 3 days he said yes. Then he started saying that drug dealers take insurance with sarcasm, and not to talk to him about that. What's the point of seeing me in 3 days if not to suck more money out of me. Really nasty attitude. Definitely not coming back here!!

I been w dr gribenko for about 5 years now.... Yes he can he rough he can he harsh at times and then theres times he can be super nice.... My experience i wanted to switch from suboxone to methadone and i was convinced it was going to help n work for me he warned he they r liars they need to pull u in n u will get stuck there n have a hard time coming off..... Me and my stubbornness said no ill be ok ....in the back of my head i always visited gribenko because to me hes a guider kind of dr..... To make a long story short i now want back on my soboxones n i been fighting to het off this horrible thing to get back because dr gribenko was right along and. As i fight it he stands by me as a dr should .....because he knows whats good for me and i was the best doing my best on soboxone i hope i can help someone who is thinking of doing what i did .....it was totally stupid ..... And i will get there slow and steady wins the race Donot switch over do not be stubborn he is not as bad as sometimes he seems angry ....he looks out he knows whats best n i will never leave him as a patient because everyone falls but its the come back that is what counts! Hope i could have been of help sincerely a neighborhood patient

I am very lucky to have found doctor Gribenko he cares alot bout you an your life. I cant thank his office enough for taking me under there care. I am an have made so many positive changes with my life with his help! He talks to you an ask how your doing he cares for you an your family he likes to see you doing well! Dr.Gribenko saved my life I was going down a road that if I didn't make it to that first appointment with him I don't think I would be alive today. Dr Gribenko took me from a 30 pill a day habbit to zero.. sober for 4 years now.. aren't you sick and tired of worrying about running out and chasing perks and kissing dealer's asses. End it now..just walk in to his office once and change youre life forever!!!

I've been seeing Dr. Gribenko for a while now and I've got nothing but great things to say about him. I was googling doctors in my area and I'm so glad his name was the first to pop up and haven't regretted it since. The staff is always super nice and always helpful. He has even helped me to quit smoking, which was hard enough to do since I've been doing it for a long time. He's got the experience, manners and is very professional but above all, he really makes you feel like he cares about what happens to you. You ever need a caring doctor, you go to Dr. Gribenko, he's the doctor for you.

Very rude nasty staff and the doctor is very rude to and always has an attitude and his under arms reek so gross!

I have been seeing Dr gribenko for 5 years now and in my opinion he is very good at what he does. I've seen him for various issues which have all been resolved. The staff at his office are all so very kind and professional. There are rarely long wait times. If you are looking for a good Dr, than I seriously recommend that you make an appointment. because I was close... living in Bay ridge BK, NY. I have moved twice and I travel largely out of my way... at least an hour both ways. His concern and professional scrutiny is the main reason for continuing to travel to his practice. I wish I could explain his compassion quickly in a small review but if you are genuine and honest he will exceed your expectations.

bad experience.
My husband visited dr.Gribenko office about 2 month every week-nothing works.(he come there because he had knee pain). Then dr.Gribenko made him a blood test and said that my husband has...Lyme Disease...We were in a shock-he prescribe him antibiotics (for 2 weeks)...
And then we make an appointment with great infectionist in NY Corneil Medical Collage(because Lyme Disease is EXTREMELY dangerous illness)-and he said that my husband is healthy and he has NO Lyme Disease!(he saw those Gribenkos blood test results and explained that this tests didn't show any signs of Lyme...
We stop visit Dr.Gribeko immediately! Such a great mistake! Our experience show us that this doctor is unprofessional and want to take a lot of money from our health insurance company!

Stay away from this poor place!!!

Amazing doctor, Very professional, yet very understanding and makes you feel comfortable.

His not after YOUR MONEY- HE actually helps... I believe FIRST check up is AROUND 200$ but AFTER it's 120 i think
....I have FIDELIS INSURANCE SO NO PROBLEM AND OTHER INSURERS COMPANIES OKAY I THINK AS WELL but Dr gribenko is AMAZING pain management doctor!!!!@

I have been dr. Gribenko s patient for close to 15 years and have nothing but the best to say about him. He has excellent expertise, he is kind, caring and has terrific manners. The office staff is efficient and pleasant, always welcoming me with a smile. His office is out of the way for me, yet I wouldn t go anywhere else. He is terrific at what he does and very well combines expertise with compassion, resulting in excellent treatment. Highly recommended.
