Viimsi Tervis SPA hotel Review

The hotel and the facilities are very nice. The room is absolutely disappointing - no locker, no shelves, no air conditioner, no fans. The room location is toward the road and sunny side - very noisy and hot. Visited in August and the days were very sunny and warm.

Terrible breakfast. If you don't want to ruin your mood in the morning, then this hotel is not for you. The morning starts with breakfast. You come to the dining room, yes, yes ... I was not mistaken in the cheap dining room, which lacks plates, cutlery and mugs. All you need to wait until they bring it. The food is not only not very tasty, but also cold. Everything ends before our eyes, the coffee is waiting, the milk in the coffee machine is over, you are waiting, the crumbs are over, you are waiting, the spoons are over, you are waiting. Even hot water in a thermos for tea is in short supply. And so everything that you do not touch. You go into the hall, there are free tables, but they will not be removed. And this is absolutely true. There were a lot of dissatisfied people. Everyone was indignant, to make coffee when there are 3 people ahead, you have to wait 15-20 minutes. And if you come 40 minutes before the end of breakfast, nothing will be reported there. And there is no one to report to, 1-2 people work in the kitchen. Think about how breakfast turns out when a crowded hotel comes in the morning.
The room has a very weak water pressure.
Children and adults were separated for the New Year. Now tell me, how can you celebrate the New Year and be with your child in the nursery? You have to choose, or a children's room or ..... what? When everything is in different places. I think everyone wants to be with a child and celebrate the New Year.
And here it turns out the child must be taken to the nursery and there is with him. Of course, if the grandfather is older, then they can be there alone. Although during the New Year, very suspicious people entered the hotel. In training, in hoods. It is not clear who comes in and out. The elevator got stuck, I would have died of fear there with such a person.
I liked the water park, cinema, black rose coffee, cinema, children's room. It is very clean and the women are very pleasant to work. They always clean something there, clean up, fold toys. True fellows.
And all this in one place. It is very convenient if you want to spend the weekend in one place and do not want to search for entertainment throughout the city.

When you enter the sauna center, you will be hit by a tremendous chlorine smell. The eyes start to sparkle. The water doesn't seem to be the cleanest.

For 1 time !! If a lot of people are not worth going at all.

Great hotel, good breakfast, clean rooms. Not a bad spa, water park is not big, but not small, a large children's room, the kids really liked it. I was pleased with the presence of the sushi bar and pub (expensive but tasty). To the old town for about 20 minutes. shopping malls. A great place to spend a weekend.

Everything is not bad)) There are many drawbacks in the details, but the overall impression is excellent. A cozy room, but for some reason there is no place to dry a wet towel and a bathrobe. Baths are cool, not enough heat) Great pool, acceptable service.

K18 spa is in its own class. The price difference appears and feels like. Serving excellent and smiling. The standard spa is a bit full of shot.

Best pool/sauna spa in the Tallinn area (pending refurbishment of Kalev) - only downside was two of the saunas out of action.

Nice place, small, but nice. Stuff is very pleasant, polite and sounds professional. However several issues are in need of mentioning, I'm afraid.
For a place targeting families, not having an option for a family ticket/admission? Come on! Seriously??? That is how much the owners value families! I've been with my family in a lot of similar places all around Europe and NEVER got into such situation.
Another serious issue is that MOST of attractions in Atlantis H2O do not work! Such a disapointment for kids! For some things there were signs warning that it is out of order, for some not - it all just did not work! And this aquapark is rather new! I imagine WHAT will happen in a year or so...
And there is a problem with waiting - firstly, there is not enough equipment to ensure the smooth "flow"; secondly, you have to spend at least half of your time queuing. OK, the last one will NOT be a problem soon, because people are visiting it now because it is rather new and well-promoted (considering value for money - definitely OVERpromoted). It is easily foreseeable, that numbers of visitors will be dropping rather sooner or later due to all the issues mentionned.

But, being fair, I must admit, that for those people, who do not have any other options, who do not travel much and have nothing to compare with, who do not have high expectations, Atlantis H2O is a reasonable option.

Not cleaned properly. Floors are very wet. Most saunas are way below required temperature. Swimming pool floor and jumping platforms are very slippery. Full price is too much for 2.5h. Bar is super expensive (300-550%). Shower floor has extreme ramps. Sharp edge for soap. Lack of parking spots. No EV charging offered. Pool is badly lit. Lighting colors are bad. Outside chilly water pool has no information about depth and temperature. Gym is a joke. Fine for high school gym. Dumbells are literally broken and dangerous. I got a trauma from treadmill. Sharp edge in front.

The best spa we've been so far. A lot of different activities for the family. Also 25m pool for distance swimming in the sauna area.

Breakfast was the worst I have ever had in a hotel. Not many options. If you are a vegan or have some sort of intolerance then I would suggest to buy your own breakfast from the nearest grocery store etc. Hotel room was okay, but the bathroom is 4/10. The worker at the spa bar had an attitude like she is "done" with her job. Also the receptionist could have mentioned that the slippers are not included when we were doing the check-in. You have to buy them for 2 which is fine, but she should have mentioned it. As I have worked in two hotels and I have stayed in many hotels then I can truly say that this is experience here was just extremely bad. I usually don't write reviews, but this time I had to do it.

Reception lady was very indifferent and not welcoming at all.
The facilities look quite clean so that's good.
I was expecting 18+ to be abit quieter.
The saunas are nice.
The complimentary refreshing drinks were tap water and tap water with lime slices! That was quite funny.
The small pools with rocks (for feet) had smth floating in them.. dust or.. I am guessing it was still more likely skin from people's feet. Perhaps water should flow through them to clean out the skin.. and not sit there for what I am guessing is the entire day.
I would still go back. No spa is perfect.

A great and comfortable place for families with children. Floors are slippery in many places.

Maybe it was just the day we went, but the place was packed, mostly with screaming children. To be fair, there is a water park attached, but using only the website and past experience at other such places, I was still caught off guard. There is an 18+ room, which gives the impression of some sort of special activities, but according to the desk girl, is just a room with no children. Unfortunately, the cost was 2-3 times more than regular admission. The facilities are fine, just very crowded. And we were a bit surprised after having excellent customer service from everyone else in Tallinn, to find the reception and bar staff were quite curt and seemed bothered by any requests.

We are not resting for the first time, I like everything! Sometimes, of course, you feel like in a pension for the elderly - groups of Finnish and not only grandmothers and grandmothers come to this hotel. But overall, a very good pub in the hotel, not a bad spa. There is an 18+ spa, there is a water park for families with children. Breakfasts are normal, I don t know what people want to be served, who write that the hungry go ... in a word, a good hotel for the middle class, there are no quails and gold toilets))))

They have a big selection of pools for kids at very different sizes. Plus the small attractions around the spa.
There was always enough room around the spa and the saunas. Nothing was full and everything worked and looked nice.
We would happily go again.

Every year, January 17, we relax in a wimsi spa and in a luxurious room .. The prices became an order of magnitude higher .. very disappointed this year the room had an additional armchair and unfolded .. (for whom ??) bedding,)) I was with my husband and a child 10 years old ... in this room you can stay for 2 adults and 2 children .. for the 4th person they told you to pay extra 30 euros. And so it turns out 185 number plus 4th person another 30 euros and this is without dinner .. dinner is coming additionally another 27 euros. in one word it s not very cheap. in the room the bath was not even washed ... it is unfortunate that the hotel changed for the worse ..... the staff themselves are very polite .. thanks to the staff ..

Have never stayed at the hotel but I love the spa for its selection of different types of saunas. The complementary drinking water is a nice touch, can also order other drinks and snacks at the bar, but don't bother with mixed cocktails as they are not worth their price. If you enter through the Atlantis H2O Aquapark, you can pay extra for a multipass to enter both facilities in one visit (they are connected by a private corridor so you can just move back and forth in your swimsuit), both places can get rather crowded though, so for a quieter experience, you should go to the 18+ spa next door.

Booked massages a week upfront in Spa18+. On sight were informed that they did not actually book the appointments. Poor customer service - no solution. Day plans ruined. Disappointment.

We visited the 18+ spa, and it's well worth a visit. There are 3 saunas, bubble bath, ice bath, Japanese bath, Ying/Yang footbath, steambath, mud, salt, and honey baths. There are nice relaxing areas and also a Turkish bath with treatment that is extra. In the main pool, there are a bar with all rights.
Although it is som areas that start to be a little worn, the feeling is still there.

I really liked the room. We took the superior room on level 3 and its kind of huge though. Sadly no view on the sea but the breakfast is so amazing. It totally fills you up! The variety of Saunas here are plenty enough. Also when you're looking for some peacefulness and quietness then visit the 18+ SPA zone, totally reccommend that!

A good hotel. Rooms are clean and everything is in order. Breakfast included and access to spa and sauna area. Access to the waterpark is separate fee which is still reasonable. Overall good hotel.

We have really bad experiences with treatments at the Viimsi Spa Hotel Care Department. Appointments several times over the pine and the level of treatment unacceptably weak. Attempts have been made on physiotherapy, massage is taken a few times, but quality is not convincing. However, the price is almost the same as in Finland. It is not about price, but about quality care. Is not. I do not recommend. The place would be a suitable trip for us from the apartment in Tallinn, but nothing can. Give up on this place.

The adult part of the SPA is fantastic, very relaxing and quiet.
The "normal" part is ok, with good sauna options, but a bit small and children tend to be running around and screaming.

Second time in a suite that is quite good. No air conditioning, but a fan. Respta promised someone to visit safetybox, didn't. The spa staff was not much interested in the service, and in the evening the restaurant was really rude.

Everything is great. The best spa in which they were. Room got chic with an extra bed - a sofa. The pools are very diverse, as are the breakfasts. Even ice cream is that surprised. We were delighted. Thank you so much for the rest! You are wonderful!

We visited Viimsi Spa 18+ on 01.10.17.
The locker I was provided with, was filled with someone else's belongings, and I had to convience a lady at the reception to replace my key, since she didn't trust me at first.
The girlfriends locker was missing a towel.
Once we tried to get to swimming pool, our bracelets stopped working, so we couldn't get neither forward nor backward. We couldn't get help for half an hour.
Noone ever apologized, and didn't let us talk to a manager.
Don't recommend visiting this place to anyone, who value their time, money and dignity.

A spa hotel is a great way to relax, get treatment and regain your strength. There are several spa hotels in Estonia. We have already visited three of them. One of the best (and according to some the best) spa hotels in Tallinn is the Vimsi Spa Hotel. We have visited this hotel three times. The hotel is very good and has friendly staff, qualified doctors, a variety of spa treatments, healthy food, a system of pools and saunas, a modern cinema, water park, spa 18+, a charming restaurant and a small activity center for children. All this at a very affordable price. Our rating is 5 out of 5 points. However, we have noticed some things that can be improved, although these are not critical. The only thing we did not like is the amount of chlorine in some pools. However, given the risk of infection, it is difficult to find another solution to disinfect the water. We therefore recommend that you shower and wash yourself thoroughly with soap after bathing in the pool.
Otherwise, as we have already written, this is a full-fledged recreation and entertainment center suitable for both family vacations and also individual trips as well as conferences.

This hotolli is great for families with children Hotel accommodation does not include a water park but it is available for the whole family for a week 25e. Saunamaaioma is included in the price of accommodation. Breakfast is quite extensive, but all the dishes are tasteless;

Very nice place to spend time with kids. If don't like tons of kids and all what comes with that, dont go on weekend.
With kids, small but nice aquapark, kids room, cinema.

Good place to stay with children. There is a water park and spa area. A cozy children's room with free Wi-Fi. In addition to the restaurant, there is a sushi bar and a pub in the form of a mini disco bar, quite decent. Ball reduced for the incompetence of young female workers in a cafe in the area of the water park. They wanted to buy a burger there, calling the room number, for some reason other people were indicated on our monitor on their room. When I asked what was the matter, they shrugged their shoulders and did not even intend to figure it out and simply refused to sell us. Only after I indicated to them that they turned to the reception, they went to investigate and figure out - Lentians)). Vosnovnom all responsive and friendly were.

The traditional bath was at the right time! Unfortunately, it is not hard to get on the procedures with salt and honey, but in general everything is at a decent level. Be sure to visit this place after a working fuss.
