Great staff. Pasha was AWESOME! I went in to donate 14 inches of my hair and she was phenomenal in her advice on what cut and style to go with. They also tied up and packaged my hair so it s ready to send off to Hair We Share. Wish they would offer a deal for these types of donations, but not the end of the world.

Had the worst experience with Adorama buying a speed light that started giving me problems two weeks after buying it. I had to travel to the store few times and no one helped me until it was finally a year after buying so they claimed that it s too late. Disgusting costumer service, never shopping there again.

Great place to get a hair treatment, eyelash extension, getting your nails done etc. Their services are affordable and reliable. Staff are professional and skilled as well. 5 stars

Elaine gave me a haircut three months ago and people are still stopping me on the street to tell me how cute my hair is. I don t want anyone else cutting my hair. I also had color done by Violet, who made me glow. It s so hard to find people who can do your hair, but here they make it seem effortless.

Have been a loyal customer of Sassoon Salon for a long time and all for a reason. Sassoon Salon never fails in making my hair look absolutely amazing every single time. Hamid Latif the Salon & Color Director has been my colorist for over 8 years and he is the Best. Super creative, Hamid is always punctual, precise and totally a pleasure to go to. I ve always gotten great compliments and wouldn t dream of letting anyone else do my hair!!

I'm a guy who doesn't cut his hair as often as he should. I come here and have this lovely woman Lillian cut my hair. Everytime I'm thrilled with the results, she has created really aggressively styled haircuts and nice let's eye popping formal ware good for any event or occasion. Call up and ask for an appointment with her, one visit to her and you won't be disappointed.

Considering the fact that I've been a hair model, mostly for Sassoon, modestly for a quarter century they have changed. During the time that Sassoon had the original uptown salon the downtown salon, I met Mr. Sassoon for a TV show taping while my hair was cut on camera at the uptown salon. What a sweet gentleman he was. Since his passing the meticulously precise technicality in training for the cuts are not the same as before. Nobody's fault, really. Those were the days, I guess.

The entire Sassoon team are consummate professionals dedicated to their craft. I used this salon for the past 10 years and have been spoiled. From the receptionist/office manager Allison, my wonderful colorist Joe who kept me looking my best to Fifi, a jack of all trades at the salon. Joe s skill is the main reason that I kept going back to the salon but all the stylists are excellent and dedicated to their craft. I highly recommend their services.

Elaine at Vidal Sassoon is wonderful! Today we brought our three-year-old daughter for her first ever haircut. Elaine put our daughter at ease right away, and gave her an elegant, no-fuss, fun haircut. Not a single tear shed! She even gave us an envelope to preserve those first baby curls.

Oh by the way, Elaine always does a fantastic job for mom, too.

The beautiful thing about Vidal Sassoon is that you know you're going to get a great haircut no matter where in the world your choice salon happens to be at.

The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere cool yet buzzy, soundtrack very much in the background, unless you hear a song you really like and know all lyrics to, in which case you can hum to your heart content.... But I digress. My main point here being that everyone talks about branding, yet very few companies actually manage to pull it off with anywhere near as much panache and conviction as Vidal Sassoon. Oh, and one more thing: my haircut is wash and go (see the pic? Wash. Go!). What kind of magic is that?

I got my hair color done By Violet and she always does a great job, just a fabulous job always friendly and always very open professional and i never have to worry about my color not looking good. I been going to see Violet for years and would not go to anyone else too afraid they will not do a good job.

I also got a cut my Flavia and she did a great job too, it so hard to find someone that nows how to cut curly hair, if you need someone that knows how to cut curly Flavia is the one to go to. Many people can cut straight hair but to find some that knows how to cut curly is not easy, if someone knows how to cut curly hair without it be straighten out is a gem.

Makeover with Martyn. Wise and talented. I am suddenly gorgeous and very NYC cool. Kept the length too which I requested . British accent easy on the ear. Friendly and accommodating staff.

This is an update to my original review. More good news. During my last visit (and now fully trusting of Martyn,)I did not direct him about keeping the length long. He cut my hair shorter and I have to say it was the best thing he could have done. I look so much better in this highly precise and perfect cut. Plus, I like the salon. It's low key, classy and people seem happy working there.

Anderson is a gem! I showed him a picture and he talked me through all my options. He also told me about my particular hair texture and how to work with it with the new cut. I HIGHLY recommend him. He is my favorite hairdresser that I've had so far. I have short hair and he really took his time with every detail. Perfection.

I love Sassoon. I love the brand & I love their stylist. The whole staff is very pleasant, accommodating, and relaxing. It's hard to leave them in a bad mood. Everyone calls me by my name and asks if I need anything. I always come out feeling good & looking AMAZING. Love it!

I opted for this salon considering it had excellent reviews for haircuts, and I was quite pleased with the haircut. I went with couple of pictures of the haircut and took an appointment of Lee who explained to me the required bits for the haircut as I was going for a quite short haircut from a long one. However I was bit disappointed with the treatment in the sense I was in the salon for 4 hours and wasn t offered water or drinks at all. I had to ask for water and tea... though I was never served tea. A bit disappointed as you would expect such treatment from normal salons as compared to salons like this where you end up paying $450. Not sure if I would like to go there again.

I found Sassoon Hair Salon New York by pure luck when I moved to New York a year and a half ago. The even luckier part was that Lydia gave me my first cut. I haven't looked back since. Not only is she super talented with cuts and color-she's also the sweetest coolest girl. I always look forward to going in and having a good gossip and leaving feeling like a thousand times prettier and shinier. I'd recommend Lydia to anyone-she even have my husband a fabulous cut.

Not well managed , this is my second time here , the stylists are good but there's an issue with the management , both times I had to wait 10-15 min after my appointment time .and every time something was broken .. This time there was no warm water and no one bother you tell me untill I had super cold water on my head ..every time the front desk had to look for the stylists ... There's limited number of strong hair dryers ....I don't think I'll be back to this place

Overpriced haircuts and twice they made me wait for over 2 hours for my appointment and eventually turned me away. Very unprofessional, especially when you charge these exorbitant prices. The manager unapologetic.

The hair dresser cut my hair and did a wonderful job. She listened to what I wanted and seemed to take pride in her work. Can't wait to go back!

Elaine, Hamid and Alison made me feel so safe and comfortable about coming in during Covid and I ve been really sequestered these many months! I was very nervous!!

I m so glad I came!! I felt I took some real part of my own life back from this pandemic and cut off the reminder of my lockdown!! So freeing!

My hair as always getting Elaine s cut is beautiful!! My husband keeps stopping and looking at me and saying you are so beautiful! Your hair is so great!! You look like you re 42!! (I definitely left that age way behind me!! Lol)

Martin is the best hairstylist I have ever had. He listens to my concerns and knows exactly what to do. Always a perfect haircut which lasts for months. I had to relocate to another state, so I hope to find someone as good as he is.
