Quote from my mom that was a little rough as she finished off her purple peaks shake. Purple peaks is the emporiums huckleberry Oreo shake. The Oreo was really tasty but the huckleberries were unripe and sour or some rotten and fermented tasting. This is especially sad as huckleberry season is just ending in the Teton Valley and they should have plenty of fresh supply. You would have a mouth full of sweet Oreo and then bite down on a huckleberry and you mouth became bitter. We left about 1/4 cup of huckleberries in the bottom of our cups because they were just to bad to eat. Judging by the Oreo flavor their other shakes are probably really good and they have nice big straws making the shakes easy to drink.
We came to Victor so I could have the best huckleberry milkshake... and I was not disappointed. It is amazing and I love the huckleberries inside... nice tart bite in the sweet. This is a MUST stop for huckleberry lovers. The owner is lovely... what a wonderful way to start a day... it was 10am... I'm serious about my huckleberry shakes.
Also the owner is very serious about social distancing and protecting her customers and her staff. Because my husband is in health care we have been wearing masks our whole trip, and have been places that looked at us like we were nutty.... it was so nice that someone cares enough to require masks, this reduces the spread and protects everyone. I applaud her efforts.
Great place for souvenirs if you go there ask for sunny she's such a sweetheart
Super fun place. Lots of silly trinkets and fun clothing. The milkshakes are so good!
The Victor Emporium is a must stop on any trip to the Teton Valley! It has the most unique and hilarious novelty items, as well as beautiful gifts, hand tied flies if you're going to be fly fishing, and, of course, their infamous milkshakes. I prefer the huckleberry shake, made with local huckleberries. It's almost as delicious as the views you get to take in while you sip it. Don't forget to take your picture with the fish out front!
This is a nice upscale gift shop and malt/ice cream shop. They carry local artist cards, a great selection of Teton Valley t-shirts and Patagonia sportswear for men and ladies, nice socks, hats and caps.
This place had literally the best milkshake I have ever had, and I grew up next to a high end ice cream maker.I highly recommend the Huckleberry Malt! The service was quite friendly. They carry some Patagonia gear and some other nice outdoor clothing, as well as some nice tourist shop items. Very cool little store. It's got a very nice nostalgic feel to it for sure.
Delicious shakes and malts, quirky shop. Hope to try their homemade root beer next.
