The place, often called VICMICO, short for Victorias Milling Company compound, is not only a big integrated sugarmill factory and refinery. It is more.

In its compound are schools, like the Don Bosco Technical Institute-Victorias, a housing subdivision called Canetown with its big plaza and open spaces.

There is also the La Salle College-Victorias located in Canetown, a big Catholic church which is still unfinished up to this day. There is also a golf and country club.

Finally, in VICMICO is the St. Joseph the Worker Church, popularly known as the "Church of the Angry Christ" which is a tourist attraction.

VICMICO is like a small town in itself, a complete community consisting of different barangays inside.

Unfortunately, Victorias Milling Company does not offer factory tour for visitors to observe how raw sugar and refined sugar are made.
