I liked everything very much! Cool staff, answered all questions, suggested places to visit. Loved the music at the reception, thank you very much for it)) the rooms are clean and very comfortable, no one bothers anyone, each has its own locker with a lock, enough space. Loved the location of the hostel. There was an opportunity to walk everywhere, we looked at the city. Beautiful place! Will definitely come back again!

The location is very good, the girls behind the reception are always ready to help and meet, if possible) any minor flaws are smoothed out by a pleasant atmosphere, everything is somehow simple and comfortable at home

The best part of the hostel is the staff ... friendly and helpful. And the location is excellent. The hostel would be much improved with an elevator and comfortable beds. Still ... it's a great value for the money in the heart of St. Petersburg.

The hostel was clean and nice, but it was very cold inside, which is really unpleasant during winter!

Too bad, a regular client was evicted because of the reservation, people booked for 4 days a 4-bed room where I lived and paid regularly and permanently, and would have lived another month, and so in order, they won't let you sleep during the day they cannot be named, they turn on the music loudly, and they don t care that you work at night and only come to sleep, this is a minor trouble, when new customers come in, the administrator brings them to your room and yells at it, explaining to them that there s no humanly show quietly go out and explain already in the corredor that do you want, no, get up by the bed and yelling tin !!! Further, the main topic, I asked more than once the number or mail of the host, but was sent to ..... why I cannot convey to him that because of 500r I am not allowed to sleep, that because of 2tr he is losing much more, I think this is not the season so that scattered cents, I hope he reads and takes action, shame administrators, and got the rules!

Lovely place, staff are friendly and super helpful. Great location, facilities are clean and well presented. Managed to get some great advise for the rest of my trip from the staff here.

A little hard to find initially and entrance does feel a little dodgy however once you find it, its great. Location wise its placed rather central with many sites only a short walk away with great access to the Metro.

We were with a group of 8 and had a great time here. This hostel is perfectly located in the heart of St Petersburg and all major attractions are on walking distance. The staff of the hostel also was great and very helpful when we had questions or needed help with the Russian language. Facilities were fine and clean, but noting special. Nevertheless, i would totally recommend this place!

I usually don't like to go in hostels ... but this one is definitely one of the best ! Very clean, good ambiance, all administrators speak english and are very kind.

Hostel with an indescribable atmosphere! Located in the heart of St. Petersburg, close to almost all the most popular attractions. Also near the epicenter of the city s nightlife, you definitely won t be bored :) Cool staff and very friendly neighbors, most of whom are foreigners. I advise everyone)

Stayed here with student group. Good option for group accommodation. Big hostel with spacious rooms and common zones - free WIFI, tea, coffee. English speaking staff :)

For international standards, this Hostel is quite scabby.

Pro: 3 out of 4 front desk ladys were very helful and nice. Location is very good

Contra: matrass had a sunk in it like you felt sleeping in a cave, showers and toilets are rather scabby (however, the cleaning ladys do a great Job - it is rather structually scabby instead of not clean). It is always super loud since you have 0 isolation through the paper-ish doors.

There s a great energy and vibe in this hostel! Great for solo travellers, with very friendly staff. The facilities are okay, but liveable. Great location. Enjoyed my stay here.

Location is overwhelmingly good. It is very nice to have such a good budget accommodation in the tourist center where you will reach the Hermitage Museum in about 10 minutes.

If you are looking for a cheap place in St. Petersburg anyway, it would be an option.

However, since it is noisy until midnight and the stairs are not clean at all, it is recommended that you look for others because it is not suitable for those who want service or cleanliness over the price.

I don't know what the structure of the building is like, but the noise and the speech will be heard.

Very convenient location, clean room, bed a bit uncomfortable

I was there recently, really enjoyed it, cheaply but with amenities.

This place is amazing. The staff is very courteous, especially Sofia and Angelina. They converse in english and russian. Easy check in and check out. No trouble at all. Had a great time; stayed here for 30 days. Will be coming back soon. For travelers; respect the timings and the privacy of people. Beautiful Russia!

Great hostel! A mixture of calm and city rush. Near the cafes, and a window into a quiet green courtyard.

The hostel is decent with well maintained and hygienic rooms.

The location of the hostel works really well as Kazan Cathedral is right around the corner and you can walk to a lot of the destinations with relative ease.

What I didn't like about the hostel was the lack of social activities which usually make the experience a lot more fun.

Small very nice hostel very well located, not expensive, a little noisy some evenings. Clean rooms, sheets changed every other day.

Fantastic place! The location is really central and walking distance to many attractions. The staff is phenomenal and the atmosphere is very friendly.

Hostel very much, first stayed in a place like this. Clockwork staff, always tell all)) the hostel is clean, maids were cleaned every day. Neighbors caught good) in general, there s a special atmosphere, I didn t want to leave)))

Good to sleep there is a place, take some clothes because you have to leave the shoes at the reception.

Petersburg is just charming - not for the first time I stay in this hostel - and each time, thanks to its advantageous location, the atmosphere of the city does not let go even for a moment - both due to the architecture of the center, and due to the wonderful friendly atmosphere in the hostel itself when you return "home"; I didn t notice any disadvantages in terms of convenience, everything works as it should, and when you need something, just ask the admins, who, by the way, are very friendly and charged to answer any question, well, you will understand :)

Great hostel in the heart of the city! Significant savings on moving around the center of the northern capital! Near Starbucks and a bunch of banks! All hangouts, bars, clubs are within a 5-minute walk from the place of residence, but what can we say - one of the most glamorous clubs is right in the courtyard, you can crawl back in 3 minutes)
The staff is super! Cleanliness is maintained 24/7 - by the maid and administrators. There are a lot of foreigners. They often stay in small groups. The bar is right in the house) There are a lot of places to eat.

We are very welcome hostel. Clean, not too big and not too small. There is a place to get to know other travelers. In addition, in the very center of the city - everything is close. For this the hostel's service is a nice and helpful person. recommend

The Cuba Hostel St. Petersburg is more than only a place to stay. You will find there very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. For a good price you can also have free tea, coffee and kitchen acces.

It's located directly in the heart of the city at Nevsky Prospekt with a very pleasurefull view to the Kazans Cathedrale and nearby Metro and Bus acces.

In the common rooms you'll surely find some interesting conversations with the other people living in there. So don't be shy and start making friendships in your new city.

All in all in my view a perfect place to enjoy beautyful St. Petersburg all together.

Perfect place! Young, friendly staff, original room design. Stayed in the female dormitory. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable. The location is very good, right behind the Kazan Cathedral. 5 minutes from the metro.

I recommend this hostel! If you just need a bed, it's perfect!
cheap, a bit wobbly, not really silent at night, but excellent location and friendly atmosphere. just what you need, complete freedom for cooking etc.

Thank you to the staff of this hostel for their hospitality. This place has Smth special and all people whom you meet here are amazing and you will easily find what to talk to them about and learn from them! The majority of those who stay there are English speaking new comers so that's the best place for practicing real English and meeting people, networking and making friends!!

My room was okay, but they didn't clean it daily. It wasn't social at all and they didn't offer nightlife activities, although it was written in the description..! Furthermore you could hear the noises of the other rooms..!

Excellent hostel in the very center of St. Petersburg. The palace is close to the palace, there are plenty of institutions around, but the main thing is that it s cozy, clean rooms, HEAT, and this is important!))) Very cool! I advise))

We stayed for the first time in the hostel, at first it was scary, but we really liked it. Nice and friendly administrators, very clean and comfortable. The rooms are nice, the kitchen is fully equipped, there is free tea and coffee.

It was bedlam! My friend and I stayed in this hostel for 4 days (from 2.01 to 01.01.2019) in a room for two. It was clean, but at night there were always spree. As we later understood, two girls, who allegedly lived in our wing, constantly brought foreigners from neighboring pubs there. In the next compartment of the hostel, where the reception is located, there is a glass refrigerator, where there is in addition to energy drinks and vodka. The guests are poured "jesters."
Girls from the reception "support the company" with the guests. On the eve of the day of our departure, we warned that we were leaving at 5.45 in the morning, but at that time we did not get to the reception. The door was closed, they called, we were not opened, they did not pick up the telephone receiver. I was helped by another guest who came to the reception through a nearby apartment above. The girl slept without hind legs and did not hear the calls, tk. went to bed recently after another spree (as reported by our assistant). She was drunk, a bottle of vodka stood next to the monitor. It was not possible to photograph, otherwise she threatened not to give a deposit for the keys and not to call a taxi. She also said that we have a debt, after a difficult explanation, it became clear that it was someone else s debt, and we have the keys, it turns out, not at all from our number. Among other things, my girlfriend forgot at the reception (as it turned out later) her passport on the day of her arrival, she caught herself on the morning of the day of departure. I got nervous, because without a passport do not cross the border. Imagine, they did not even inform her friend that she had forgotten her passport at the front-end! As you already understood, I do not advise you to stay in this "bad apartment."

Everything is super, there is everything nearby (metro, Kazan Cathedral, Nevsky Prospect, the house of the book, there is even a veg cafe) Och positive staff. Thanks be back.

Good hostel, in the heart of St. Petersburg !! Cool atmosphere, unusual design of Cuba)) 2-bed rooms are spacious, we lived in a room called "carmelita", cleaning was every day, bed was clean and comfortable mattresses !!

You will not find anything better in the center of St. Petersburg, I advise :)

Bad - Dirty ( you will be greeted by shoes and bad smell as you enter ) .

3-4 bathrooms per floor but only 1 toilet on upper FLOOR for all the rooms. Bathroom showers not working properly.

Dishwasher in kitchen not working and is super dirty in a bad state .

Beds - spring matress need replacement .

Lockers - only small lockers in the room mostly for valuables. Small bags or suitcase can't fit in.

Noisy - a small common area outside the rooms on upper floor made it very noisy and impossible to sleep at night.

Good - Perfect location. Very near to all the accomodations.

Check-in staff is very good.

Kitchen is well equipped . The pans need replacement though.

This is a very spiritual place with an atmosphere of freedom and spartan youth.

Stayed here for 1 night in a twin room with my friend, the hostel is quiet and clean, all other guests were super nice and staff also was very helpfull

My stay at Cuba hostel was very good. Helpful staff, Good facilities, location is right in the heart of the city. It amazed me how big the hostel was :) My room was clean, comfy beds, good wifi. When I'm back to Saint Petersburg I'll definitely stay there again and I would recommend this hostel to others for sure :))

Super Hostel! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and speaks English very well. Here many nice people come together and there are many interesting encounters.
