Similar experiences to everyone else. Unfriendly to tourists. Waiter seemed happy to welcome us but as soon as the chef saw us not being Italian he booted us out. Don t come here!

Historical family-run restaurant, clean and great for eating a truly giant Milanese cutlet.
Reservations are recommended, however, having arrived without having booked we were warmly welcomed, and served in no time.

A good Milanese cutlet, abundant and with bone.
The restaurant is small and quaint, the food is good and the staff friendly. The price / quality ratio is a less favorable: with a head and a bottle of wine we spent almost 25 each.
I recommend booking, especially at the weekend.

Neglected and old place, not ancient. Poor canteen type service not at all courteous. High prices for the quality of the VIP and environment. You don't go for a nice evening, but for golfers of a giant running cutlet because you have to clear the table. I would definitely not go back.

Great cutlet, it's worth it just for her. The other dishes are also done well. Remember to book as the place is small. If you arrive early without a reservation the staff will go out of their way to accommodate you. Great

Very abundant cutlet, but remains of excellent quality. The tomatoes are delicious but you must like the garlic. The wine list leaves something to be desired. The bathroom is outside the room. Price in the Milan norm 15 for the cutlet, but this is really good.

Good for the cotoletta if you are craving a traditional milanese no-frills meal. Prices are average, on the lower side. Only drawback is that it can be difficult to get a table and spaces are right. Given that it s an institution, customer service may not always be on point if you aren t a regular. All in all, Would recommend!

Tavern with a few homemade type tables. Pasta not to my liking and packaged dessert type discount. Courteous staff but with not very formal clothes.

One of the best cutlets in the city. Place of absolute guarantee. If you want there is also more: various dishes and pizza slices.

Was anticipating to visit this place and try homemade Italian food.
But got a welcome totally opposite to the one you expect in such small cozy places.
Waitress was rude and made us feel irrelevant.
Same story as in other comments : Only 2 tables taken and fully booked . I would be fine with that - reservation is a rule and it s fine - I would visit this place on my next trip in Milan.
But that rude treatment made us feel ,like we are not enough Italian , so 1 star for the lost customer.

The cutlet is really good, the staff is courteous and helpful, the owner's ways are really painful, they leave something to be desired !!! First and last time I will go even if it comes close to where I live !!

Disgusting service! Extremely rough waitress! Salted vegetables and unsalted meat. The only thing that deserves admiration is the panna cotta.

Eaten an excellent cutlet, an excellent pumpkin flan (but a little expensive and with a small portion). The problem was that the place was famous for pizza by slice, but they didn't do it anymore but we wanted to taste.

Cutlet Top! Historic place in Milan where you can taste the real Milanese cutlet. Original restaurant with attention to detail. The service excels notoriously super courteously but this is a typical feature of the site. Excellent value for money. Definitely recommended!

The Cotoletta, with a capital C, as big as the oregia, well breaded and with the bone. To try. The appetizer of fried thistle and stracchino is particular, let yourself be conquered! Small place, to be always booked (but on Saturdays they do not accept reservations). Old Milan at the top.

The small intimate and characteristic room, in perfect old Milan style.
The managers are perfectly at home in the role of restaurateurs, they make you feel at grandma's house, with smiles and authentic and traditional perfumes.
We come to the menu:
- a first of egg linguine with white rabbit ragout REALLY EXCEPTIONAL
- the classic Milanese pork cutlet served with pachino tomatoes in garlic sauce and SUPER fresh basil

I took a pizza by the slice and I must say that it is among the best I've ever eaten! Absolutely fantastic! I can't imagine how good the other house specialties are. Absolutely recommended. The only problem is that on the sign there is written "pizza by the slice", but every time I go to take a piece it is already over, or they still have to do it (Because what's there is for the room) or very little remains, I can practically take it once in 3 ...

The quality is not so good and the price is expensive. The wine would not be opened at the table and the staff were always watching us.

Simple and very welcoming environment. Excellent cutlet on the bone and homemade apple pie. Prices aligned with quality. Five stars despite the bathroom .... outside ... and to forget ....

Excellent Milanese as expected. The real surprise was the apple pie with mascarpone cream. Phenomenal.

He had promised pizza at 21st instead of them arrived there nothing !!!!

Schnitzel to the Milanese exceptional, pity for the payment that turns out to be difficult if you go with friends who want to pay their part with the ATM.

We've been there so many times, and honestly the schnitzel is good, but unfortunately the education is not at home, by 1.40 pm, they tell me everything is full I don't know if something is free, I'll be back at 2.20 pm local empty but I feel myself answering words " we broke the balls to work "... Early fantastic (linguine with Pachino tomatoes and ricotta salata really good!), Special seconds with the thistle of Monferrato to be missed. Not to mention the schnitzel, the best I've ever eaten. All for a very low price. I will definitely return.

Once the best cutlet in Milan now no sin. Cooked in oil and too dry. Overpriced wines.
