The job hunt can be daunting and I'm thrilled to be moving on to a perfect new career opportunity thanks to Vettery. If you're in this boat, feel free to read on for a detailed story on my experience! I happened to get a marketing email from them on the day I was laid off out of the blue from my job of 7 years (2 weeks before Christmas to boot). On a whim, I created a profile and uploaded my resume that night. Over the next week, I went about the job hunt on my own, sourcing job postings, writing tailored cover letters, answering open ended questions, and ultimately lining up some interviews. I honestly forgot I created a profile with Vettery in the whirlwind that comes with being laid off and then a little less than a week after creating my profile, I got a notification that my profile had been approved and was live for recruiters to access. In that time, I had made massive changes to my resume and was able to get my newest version updated in a matter of clicks. I had also narrowed in on what I really wanted in my next role and was able to tweak my profile accordingly with the great UI they provide. Just days after my profile going live, I got my first interview request from a company via Vettery where I was notified via text and email which was super helpful. They provide tooling right in their UI to respond to the recruiter and get everything scheduled which made it super simple. As that opportunity progressed through the phases of the interview process, a few more started coming through as well that seemed like better fits for what I was seeking. This allowed me to confidently withdraw my candidacy for the first opportunity that wasn't really up my alley and all parties were very understandable. I can't stress enough how much I appreciate that I had the ability to make that decision, as I could have ended up in the wrong role if they didn't have the process in place to line up multiple interviews at once. What I'm most impressed with among other things is that I had a dedicated Candidate Experience Specialist, Meagan Wansong, who is top notch. At first, I assumed the outreach was an automated bot they had set up, but as things progressed with different opportunities, it was clear she was in fact a real person ;) and was eager to help! I just the right amount of outreach from her in a combination of email & text and it felt genuine VS what you may experience working with a stereotypical recruiter. This included checking in on where I was at in the process with different interviews, offering to help with prep, and even just wishing me luck before some big interviews. At one point later on in the process when I had multiple late stage opportunities in the works, she even hopped on a call with me and was a great sounding board as I narrowed in on the position I wanted the most. I was really impressed because one of my top 2 positions I had sourced on my own and she didn't try to sway me in any way toward the opportunity sourced by Vettery, but rather just heard me out and let me talk through everything. So, huge shoutout to Meagan and I'm sure all the other folks they have working with candidates are just as great! Wrapping this up, I'm pleased to be able to say that through the help of Vettery, I've accepted an offer for a position that fits exactly what I was looking for that meets my criteria for salary, benefits, and location (remote) and I can't wait to hit the ground running. I'm beyond impressed by the folks over at Vettery and recommend anyone looking for a new opportunity create an account with them!
I signed up, and within a day or two, got a lead which resulted in a great offer from a great company!
"Your profile is currently under review and not visible to employers." This has been showing for so long now that I forget when I submitted the profile. Reached out to individuals on linkedIn and no response. Reached out directly to their email and no response. If this is the only way one can get hold of them, then it doesn't seem as personal as they market themselves to be. UPDATE: After the prompt response from the team at Vettery I was able to resolve the issue. Given that Vettery heavily relies on smart filtering, certain condition put the profile in "Limbo". This was resolved quickly after my earlier review and I was assured they will make sure this use case be addressed to the product team.
Meagan was very responsive, helped me stay on top of the process, and was overall a pleasure to work with
Vettery did a phenomenal job. I was pleasantly surprised to be given my own personal helper after signing up and getting approved. Through the whole process we've chatted maybe half a dozen times and they helped me find interesting jobs, prepare for interviews, and decide between multiple offers. I'm extremely satisfied with this service and how they made me feel like a valuable person instead of a sales number.
Awesome service and wonderful experience! Interviewed with really cool companies for roles that fit my profile very well. The communication was flawless and process easy to follow. I signed on to my targeted role. I highly recommend Vettery!
I have created my profile on Vettery and got calls directly from recruiters. Once interviews were scheduled, Vettery agents followed up with me and gave tips, suggestions and even helped me with my negotiation. I got an offer and thanks to Vettery.
Great experience! You choose your top 3 skills and location and based on that, the companies will contact you. I got a lot of interviews using this platform and was finally able to land a job. Thanks to all the team who put a lot of effort behind making this a good job hunting platform!
