My husband has been going here for over 2 years, and he has received nothing but the best of care , the doctors are patient and concerned and the staff, friendly and compassionate. The facility is clean and welcoming.

Going to the VA the last 10 yrs I know that the doctor and nurse try to do there best they can for you. Its just sometimes I wonder if the doctor are the best out there. That in it self might be a problem
The VA offers the best health care coverage available I have always had excellent Insurance in the va's is comprable and many cases better
The ER services were above my expectations!!!
From triage to the actual rooms where the nursing staff to my fantastic doctor who took wonderful care of me. My nurse was also fantastic as he kept me in the loop as everything was happening... it was the best care of all my other VA facilities... including Louis Stokes and Edward Heins Jr.
Just started using the VA services this year. Have had nothing but fantastic service excellent friendliness and great results. God bless these individuals!!

I used to go there now but I'm going to Indiana,Pa VA care center because it is a lot closer for me but I truly miss the Pittsburgh unit it was one of the best and always changing and updating their facilities with great Doctors like Dr Brooks over at primary care unit. I miss talking to a staff member about my camera....
I have been coming here for twenty years and they continue to improve. I am thankful for the Pittsburgh VA.
Staff is great doctors are fine but the food will kill you
It's a hospital no one really has a good time at the hospital unless you are having a child then it is a good time.
Excellent service and great people. I like the VA system SO much better than civilian hospitals. The Pittsburgh system is VERY good. I recommend it to any veteran seeking care.
This is the BEST care in Pittsburgh! People who talk bad usually have not been in a VA in past couple of years.

I called down before just showing up and they said yes you need to come in. I got there and waited for 7 hours for them to give me some ginger ale and tell me im fine but if it gets worse come back. I drove over 3 hours round trip for you to tell me to deal with the symptoms till surgery in 9 days. Why tell me on the phone i need to come down and have me sit around wasting a whole day and having my fiance take a half day at work to send me home with a note saying i cant work but im fine. You guys are ridiculous.
i went to va pittsburg for heart best people ive dealt with,, nice to me 4th floor was the best they treated real good ,everybody that works was nice to me i thank you all
My father is a U.S. Army Vet which served in the Vietnam war. I grateful for his services but mostly for his tough love. Of course, he may say something different about the services here lol
My husband Roger was just in VAPHS and without exception of any of the staff everyone was Exceptional!!! From the doctor's , nursing, right down to the housekeeping and the volunteers.We would highly recommend this VA Hospital to any Vet.
They have great doctors great nurses and they fix you up real good! The only thing bad about it is the parking! Seems like you no matter what time you get here you have to wait for valet parking.
Place is dirty. Most of the staff have poor things to say about the hospital. Assembly line health care.
Husband stayed almost a year in prrtp in aspenwal va and the team of workers he had helped him so much.I was able to take him home and he is now thriving.he's a severe diabetic and had to lose afew extremities and suffers mental health issues as well as depression. They are very experienced and handle the patient's disorders very well
I am a new patient at this hospital and was so amazed at how friendly and helpful everyone there is. The medical staff is awesome and also very friendly. I was having a hard time finding my way to my next appointment and everyone I had asked to give me directions was so very willing to help, in fact a few even walked me down to the waiting room or gave me very good directions. This place is just awesome!!
Have had the privilege of being a patient at this facility for the last 32 years. As a service connected veteran, I have seen continued improvements of the services offered. Doctors and staff are attentive and respectful. In my opinion this facility exceeds the best private facilities in the city.
Had Pace Maker\Defib. Installed in June. Was treated very well.
I have had surgery here and I have always been very satisfied with the doctors and nurses. Clean and quiet.
