Exceptional customer service after a recent auto claim! Thank you Vermont Mutual. I am very pleased that my agent recommended and placed my home and auto policy with Vermont Mutual. Also, Vermont Mutual's rates are much more competitive than my prior insurance company.
The worst. I had a septic failure and they could not prove the cause of the failure and still did not reimburse me for my expenses even though all their reasons were ambiguous. I have now filed an official complaint with the state. Stay away and go with a national organization that will treat you fairly and actually provide a service when you need it most. You pay for insurance for the unknown times for a reason.
They are horrible. Dealerpolicy insurance agency handled the policy. You can never reach a representative. Once you finally due they can never just answer your questions or resolve an issue without having to call you back. Then they don't call!!! They definitely over charge you, and provide little customer service. I'd never use them again.
This company took $838.00 extra from me . And the so called manger J _ _ was so rude stated she wasn't giving back the money then later when a advocate spoke with her she said very rudely said I'll give your money back in 2 weeks when advocate said it takes 2 seconds to take the money by ELETRONIC MONEY TRANSFER BUT 2 WEEKS TO GET IT BACK. She said I'm going to end this call. The worst unprofessional conduct I have EVER SEEN. And SO UNCOOPERATIVE

This company has poor customer service, sent a threatening notice to a long time customer for a payment that was paid 11 days late, and in the same letter stated, "were value our relationship with you". We will not be renewing any of our policies and advise others to cancel or not renew their policies with this company.
this is an insurance company that refuses to give residential personal coverage to homeowners with restricted breeds.
Insurance companies should REALLY get with the times and update their knowledge, ignorance comes in all ways
We have three policies with them(2 Auto and 1 Home). They are not there for you when you need them, extremely slow, unresponsive, and extremely cheap and difficult when you need them to pay out on a claim. We will be cancelling all of our policies with them and never recommend them to anyone else.
I have a four unit apartment building that is insured by Vermont Mutual. The price is very competitive, the billing is easy, and I have found the service to be prompt and professional.
I have my Home and Auto insurance with them. Have had a great experience on an auto claim and really pleased with the coverage options on the homeowners policy! The "Advantage" package really has some nice home protections most companies do not offer. Rates have been stable which has also been great!
If the obviously fake positive reviews weren t enough to tell you these people are crooks, then read the real life experiences in the reviews below. One of their customers rear ended my while I was waiting at a red light, and they were, bar none, the least professional, most shady company I ve ever dealt with across any industry. Run as far away from this company as you can.
