This company needed to access my backyard and the neighbours to complete a job they were working on. They torn up the lawn and caused a lot of mess. They said they would put up a small fence (one and a half panels) between the neighbours and us to compensate if we bought the supplies. One year later and it still isn't done and they won't return our messages or phone calls. They are super nice when they want something from you, but don't hold your breath waiting for them to keep their promises. Very unprofessional with no sense of pride.

The building was completed on time and within the budget. Excellent work and service. Our tenants appreciate their new home.

Bought a house that they built which included a warranty. Takes forever for them to come and do any work. They are not responsive at all. Often times they ignore your requests and you need to follow up with them multiple times. If you want to babysit a construction company, go with these guys. Otherwise, save yourself the time and frustration.

Extremely cheap contractor, they will find a way to cut every penny from a subcontractor. If you want to supply materials and mark it up, they will supply everything, etc, etc. It basically leaves little profit and you are working for wages. Do you think most people are really going to care about the end product. They were even advertising for carpenters at $25/hr when the going rate is $30+/hr so you are getting the bottom of the barrel quality.

The house is fine on the interior but the snag list still has several outstanding issues, some of which have only got worse. They didnt even bother finish painting the exterior so lumber has been damaged over the winter by rain and snow. 5 months later and painting is still not finished.
They knowingly used damaged Hardie planks and will not address the issue, even though the same planks were used on other properties 3 months prior. 5 months after move in, they have used the same damaged planks on another home nearby.
It has taken 5 months for them to replace a door damaged by construction AFTER our inspection but before move in. When the door was finally delivered, we were not notified it would be arriving. It took another ten days with a reminder from us before it was even installed. They didn't bother finishing painting the door frame properly.
Came home from work yesterday to notice that 3 of our garage door windows leak.
Purchased our own fencing as they were charging over $400 a panel and their builders removed it from our property. They claimed that they thought it was theirs and shouldnt be leaning on our house yet no one had a problem with the rusty paint tins left behind for months.
Be prepared for frustration if you buy in Westhills. They will ignore your snags to carry on building some other sub par house. If they bother to swing by, they might not even tell you. Thanks for getting my dog's fur covered in black paint after he brushed up against a door frame we didn't know was freshly painted Verity.

They helped organized some work on my house in Westhills. All the trades that came to work on our house were great. Everyone was on time, cleaned up well after themselves and did a beautiful seamless job.

Do not go near anything this company has touched. We purchased what we thought would be a nice income property in the Westhills which they built. It has been just better than 2 years and the house seems to literally be coming apart at the seams. Their warranty is just patches and band-aids, nothing that solves the problems. The company we hired to build our personal estate refused to even come look at our Westhills house because he said "Anything Verity builds is unfixable. Their building procedures are so poor that you will end up chasing problems all the way into the ground work. Its all about the pennies to them and it comes at the cost of any quality what so ever". After hearing that our hearts sank, here we thought we where investing for the future but we ended up buying a liability. WARNING.

I came from Vancouver, Verity built the house for us. I visited the site at least once/month, and noticed the site was well managed, site managers are friendly. After we moved in, there was some minor lose ends. They can and solve it right away. They are building a lot houses in my neighbour hood, and easy to find the site manager when I have a question.
Happy with their job.

Horrible customer care...they do not listen to the customer's complaints and never comply with..very unprofessional..lie all the time..do not respond to your emails and phone calls...not approachable...bad bad bad company partnering with McCormick Meadows Construction..I do not recommend them both.

Moves in SEPTEMBER 2016 house still not finished the following MAY. Left service emails as per normal. Only once got a call back. I even had the courtesy to make a list so as not to bother with every little thing. Called twice as well.
