Verdi's Domburg Review

The Italian lifestyle is lived in this pizzeria and you feel it as a guest. The noise level is loud, but you can have a pleasant conversation. The waiters are attentive, friendly and typically Italian We had ordered pizza and pasta and everything was delicious. The portions are also sufficient for very hungry people. The pizzas were filled, the fresh garlic was baked in the oven and the pasta was fine-tuned in terms of the sauce. Homemade garlic butter is also recommended.

Fine pizza, perfect pastas, coffee as coffee should be and the ultimate ending, homemade tiramisu with coffee. Already made at least 200 x tiramisu, but this is high in my top 10

Nice shop - unfortunately completely overcrowded at this time (7:00 p.m.) and you have to wait.

The food was warm and the pizza was well topped. However, the pizza dough was more like bread than pizza. Meanwhile, our pasta pomodoro was little more than cooked dried spaghetti covered in some sugo - undersalted and underseasoned (if at all?), barely any flavor. Disappointing. Importantly, staff was pleasant and kind both on the phone as well as during pickup. Combined with the good reviews on here I hope this just means they had a bad day, not a bad restaurant.

Can't rate the food. Wanted to reserve for 11 people. Reservations were not possible but we did not have to worry. It would always be ensured that we could eat together. We arrive at the agreed time, unfortunately. Eating with 11 was no problem, but at 2 separate tables. When we told the employee what we had been told the day before, they responded nonchalantly. No inquiries were made and the problem was completely moved to us (customer). I understand that there was no room at the time, but the uninterested reaction in particular was totally inappropriate. Fortunately we were able to turn to Dolphijn and were happy to leave the turnover behind.

Tip: perhaps fantastic food, but make sure the organization is right.

Very rude staff. The manager is completely overwhelmed and is characterized by unfriendliness, audacious rudeness and stupid arrogance. We don't go there anymore, we prefer to go somewhere where people are still friendly to their guests.

I can only recommend it.
We have now been to Verdi for two evenings in a row. On both days it was jam-packed, so we had to wait ten minutes on Saturday. But we gladly accepted that. The food (whether meat, pasta, salad or pancakes) was very, very tasty. The tiramisu is simply delicious. The service was very friendly, nice and courteous. We felt very comfortable. As I said: I can only recommend it.

A very nice restaurant with very good food and friendly staff, very busy but that says enough.

In this pizzeria the staff is very friendly and answers all questions without being annoyed or stressed out. It is always full there. The food is presented very nicely and the pizzas in particular are very well filled. Overall, the food is too fatty for me, whether it's pasta, starters or pizzas.
In terms of taste, however, it is good.
Definitely recommend the pizzeria if you are used to something greasier.
The atmosphere is very nice there.
