This place allows its personnel to falsify crisis intervention team reports. It was done back in 2013 and their crisis team has been used as a weapon against me by someone that keeps calling them on me constantly and they refused to tell me who it is. This Police Lieutenant Cesar Romero of the Ventura Community College district Police made this false report and the VCBH refused to stick up for me when I provided the evidence. I am so glad I am no longer receiving treatment from you guys.

They re okay.. I ve had 2 VERY mean therapists and then one who never calls me back on our appointments since everything s over the phone now.

Terrible mental health services and communication....

Terrible mental health services and communication. Was sent to the South Oxnard Clinic for therapy. The therapist always called my emergency contact number for phone appointments and never returned my calls. She was also quite rude and constantly interrupted. The psychiatrist shamed me for breastfeeding because I had to take a break from some medications but wanted to continue therapy for mental health support. I reached out to grievances to switch offices and they urged me to stay there because it was a lot of paperwork to change. But I still tried to go forward, they took my number and said they'd have someone call me to make the switch. 2 weeks and they never called. Completely failed a postpartum mother who was seeking help.

Lots of turnover, and miscommunications. The staff are all pleasant. Trying to understand the tools that you have available, and then requesting them is where allot of the clients get stuck.
The medical staff will only prescribe psych meds( not even an inhaler), and will prescribe weaker versions, doses, or outright discontinue medications, regardless of how helpful they are to you.
If you have severe anxiety/anxiety adjacent diagnosis, do not expect any anxiolytics or similar from them.
Expect Nurse practitioners and Skype calls with a psych that doesn't understand or listens for the wrong things, and they can be pretty apathetic. All this being said, non medications related staff are all usually very pleasant.
