My first visit I didn't know they only accept cash. I didn't have cash on me only my debit card. He gave me my coffee anyway. And wrote on the back of my lunch card how much I owe when I come back in for more coffee. Such a great place.

Food and coffee are excellent. They use local ingredients and take care in what they are doing. Location is beautiful, their outdoor patio faces a patch of woods, which is stunning as you sip coffee in the morning.
I love coming here. The staff is friendly, I see a lot of my friends, and the food is great. Quite often I will come here to do my schoolwork and I listen to music on my phone. However today, I came in, got everything set up, and was ready to go when I noticed that YouTube was talking a while to load. I turned my phone WiFi off and back on, restarted my phone, even tried to load YouTube in the phone browser, and nothing worked. It turns out, there is a block that no longer allows anyone to load YouTube. So now I can't listen to music while I do my schoolwork, and it is too loud in here to concentrate without music. I am extremely disappointed in this change, and I see no need to make YouTube inaccessible while other web pages load just fine. YouTube is the most popular service aside from Google itself, and not being able to access it at Mocha Moment is a HUGE detractor. If this changes anytime soon I will leave a higher star rating, but until then, 3 stars is, I think, QUITE generous.
EDIT: After about a week I returned, and behold, YouTube was back, so 5 stars now. Thanks to whoever saw my review and decided to change it back!
ANOTHER EDIT: The past 2 times I have come, the WiFi has been completely gone; it could be that they just switched to a 5G network because my phone can't access those.
EDIT: THE THREEQUEL: The wifi is fixed, works just fine.

Very cozy coffee shop in a cabin-like setting, beautiful deck for warmer seasons, cozy fireplace inside, delicious treats and drinks. Many people come to do studying, schoolwork, there is live music on Wednesday evenings.

Went here for the 1st time today. I was greeted by one of the owners. He was so nice and told him what I'd like and he recommended something great! I told him it was my 1st time, he gave me a punch card and a pumpkin bar!! I don't care for pumpkin that much but it was great . I would defiantly eat it again and as for the coffee it was cheaper and tasted a lot better than my usual coffee! I totally recommend mocha moments!
First time customer for myself and husband and we both loved it. Great flavors to the coffee itself and the flavorings are good what ever brand they use. (He had a regular coffee with hazelnut added, I had a double mocha).
Would highly recommend and will be going back.

This is one my favorite local places to go and hang out for a while. The food is incredibly affordable for how good it is, the coffee is fantastic, and the atmosphere is so cozy. Walking inside is like it's own little bubble of happiness.

I came here because they were listed as the best ice cream place in the state of Wisconsin by travel insiders. Unfortunately, they only had vanilla ice cream when we stopped by so I can't speak about the other ice cream flavors. The mocha jo shake and other caffe drinks were very good. The guy serving us was super nice answering our questions and with handling allergy concerns. Would definitely stop by again if I'm in Wisconsin.

A easy 5 star coffee shop... or is it? The staff all seem to have a passion for coffee, which I haven t found in every coffee shop I visit. It s definitely seems to be more then a paycheck to these wonderful people. The owner is a kind soul which he seems to rob off on his employees. A caring leader makes for a successful place of business. I could list a bunch of the barista s that impress me but instead I ll just say thanks for being great, patient and kind. This place is tucked away in a little wooded area and has a deck that s great for summer and and a treat for you in spring and fall. They have a relaxing heater for the colder months. The make all the baked goods from scratch and the ice cream is made in house, and just let me say it s delicious! All the syrup they have for drinks is homemade too, such a taste of greatness in every taste of whatever drink you get. So don t be shy and give my favorite coffee shop a visit. There is also a nice trail that is a great walk with your friends, you can grab your drink of choice and have an adventure. Hey it s a excellent little shop to relax as well. Always a pleasure coming to Mocha Moment! Even when busy, as it was today, the service---and food---was exceptional! The atmosphere is calm, relaxing, and "chill". Perfect for work, studying, reading/writing/art, or talking. I highly recommend this establishment! (Get the cinnamon coffee cake... you won't regret it!)
This is my favorite place in Janesville. it's a cozy coffee shop with a beautiful deck overlooking a nice stand of woods,with pleasant walking trails. The coffee and tea are delicious, and the people are friendly and fun to talk with.

I love supporting this local coffee shop! The prices are competitive to the big companies. The service is generally great and the location (in a log cabin style building surrounded by woods) is beautiful! The only negative is that it gets pretty crowded inside due to the popularity. While the deck is great to use in nice weather, it would be nice if they were able to turn it into a porch style area when there is inclement/cooler weather. I love that they have options for seating and checkers/chess available to play, also.
Drinks and food are good but really need to work on times. Only 3 cars in front of me and it took over 20 minutes to get two drinks and a pre-made bar. Two customers left your line due to the wait.
