Because of the GDPR I wanted to move my documents and backups to a server in the Netherlands. I've only been using vBoxx recently, but so far to my full satisfaction. The customer service is very good, as a self-employed person (and therefore a relatively small customer) I received a personal demonstration of the system. When the transfer of files faltered, the time was extensively taken to have a look. My files have all been moved and in practice vBoxx works very well. The fact that I can access my files from Finder was an important condition for me and it works as expected. One perk I wasn't looking for is the option to securely share files with others. Useful!

N.a.v. As of May 25, 2018, I was looking for a new privacy legislation for an alternative in the Netherlands for a safe and AVG-proof backup system for my files and work as a graphic designer. I am very satisfied with the solution and service from v-Boxx. It works very transparent and clear. You can access your files in the cloud from any device and share them easily and securely with others if needed. Deleted files can be retrieved up to a user-definable period, just like older revisions of your files. Ideal. Furthermore, the help desk is very helpful, fast and accurate. They think and look with you where necessary and work with a permanent contact person. I recommend it to everyone.
Finally a reasonably priced cloud storage and in the Netherlands. Very fast helpdesk. Upload and download is also super fast.
Our association has been on vBoxxCloud with its files for about a month now. A really good Cloud! All files have been transferred to the vBoxxCloud and can be easily shared from the account with an unlimited number of guest users. They are given rights so that they can view and manage exactly those files that are needed. Very good to check from the account, all AVG proof and excellent support. I really recommend it!

Great product, we started using the product two ago and we are extremely satisfied. No delay in the Cloud, high processing speed.
For the company I was looking for a cloud provider who made it a point of honor not to share the data and that the servers are on European soil. The latter already makes a difference, so certainly later. In the end 2 candidates remained, Tresorit and Vboxx. The final decision was made on the basis of email (Tresorit, Vboxx), chat (Vboxx) and telephone (Vboxx). It has become Vboxx. I think the low threshold for them to be able to speak to a person by telephone or via chat is FANTASTIC. Of course our company (SME) was then still a prospect. After 9 months as a customer I can still confirm that this has not changed.
It was a very difficult decision for us as a company to go to the Cloud. No matter how you look at it, you provide confidential data to an external party. I do not understand why large European companies deal so loosely with choosing their Cloud partners who, for example, fall under US law. Only 3 months later, after choosing Vboxx, we fully went for the cloud. Reason 1 is the fact that as a company you can still protect your data, you cannot control what employees do with this data. If you don't give them a tool themselves, they use Dropbox, One drive and Google drive. Because they do choose to have their data with them everywhere through an external company. Reason 2 is ransomware. If you know that these types of viruses encrypt EVERYTHING, really EVERYTHING, on the same network (yes, also the backup systems!), Then I would prefer that our data is external so that you can go back 90 days, for example. As an SME this is simply not a part where you want to invest a lot of time and money, you cannot keep up with the hacker / virus world, let alone defend yourself against it. "It does not happen to me" principle should really not be the reaction. Prevention is better than cure. Reason 3, how much confidential data is already sent internally, which also ends up on external servers? As an SME you do not escape the Cloud, so choose your partner yourself.

We have been working with vBoxxCloud for some time now and are very pleased with it. vBoxx is a Dutch organization that uses the GDPR as a starting point and does not store data in America. So we are not bothered by US legislation that enables the government to keep a finger on the pulse in everything.
