Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall Review

This concert season features just 4 top class concerts of classical music, world-class musicians in the largest hall and capital of a country. Very shameful for a country considered European ?! While smaller city concert halls, any of the more developed European countries provide citizens with a handful of top-notch concerts on a daily basis, from jazz to classic, to rock music. Six years ago, the situation in Lisinski was at a much more decent level, until it turned into a total circus ...

We arrive 20 minutes before the start of the concert, pick up the tickets and we have 10 minutes left to enter the hall. Then the staff sends us to some completely different entrance door that is not even close to our seats at all. We get to that door, and they send us on and so forth. They walked us from floor to floor for 15 minutes. We walked the whole of Lisinski along and across. Eventually the concert started and then they told us that we could not enter if the concert had started and that we had to wait another 10 min in front of the door to enter. Eventually they finally let us in but all the way up to the gallery. So when we entered we went down to the beginning of the hall and so we bothered other people with our walking and dragging. When we finally settled in we enjoyed the concert. Mostly as far as this concert was concerned it was a very bad organization. But not to be all so black, there were also good concerts, but unfortunately the last one really offended me. But we will come again to check on the condition. Pozz

It's a great concert hall, but it old and there is not enough reconstruction invested in it. The seats are not that comfortable. Sound is great and you should come visit it if you can. But everything else is average. Maybe if they invested some money in it... Well I recommend it if you like opera's. Like if you find this useful.

I love "Lisinski", I go from a small age, I like the repertoire, it sounds good from every place, I feel comfortable and welcome!

The climate is a little too strong, so it's cold. However, the temperatures outside are no longer high, so there is no need for such a strong cooling.

Please tell your rulers to strike passion. Last night at the concert I had the feeling that I was in a camp or a prison while they were wildly running around us and controlling each of our movements. Trying to keep the audience decent not using mobile phones at the same time they were pretty unbiased because they hindered the audience, and in this case the girl who guarded my sector spent more than 30-40% of the concert on my feet and bothered me to look at the stage ... it was cute but I did not come to look at her.

Very good acoustics and comfortable chairs. It bothers me that this home of culture and art is too often rented to singers who do not belong there
