The most complete restaurant experience I have had...

The most complete restaurant experience I have had. Food, wine, service and setting all excellent. Two things that makes it an exceptional experience however, are the availability of back vintage wines and the flexibility with courses- adding extra courses etc is no drama. They go beyond accomodating your requests and requirements.

Degustation with matching wine pairing for my birthday. Beautiful food, every course has been carefully thought out. Especially loved the use of salt bush in a couple of dishes. Great setting out on the balcony looking at the vines. 10/10!

Incredible experience! Came here for lunch and it was the best food and wine I have ever had. The vineyard scenery was beautiful and it created an amazing atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, helpful and on the ball.

First impressions, wow. Beautiful place, serene.

First impressions, wow. Beautiful place, serene.

Turned up last minute, no booking, took a while to be greeted. Seems that only one person on the desk looking after a group of wine tasters, was not cleverly thought out. She didn't even greet us as we walked in, then served someone else instead.

Finally sat in the wine lounge outside, on those God awful chairs. Not comfortable at all. However, the view was lovely and the waiter was very nice and professional.

We had the charcuterie, olives and cheese board with our wine flight. Was very tasty. Apart from the horrible chairs, we were happy sitting out in the sunshine.

Bought a bottle of cab sav for $57 then left the area for home 2.5 hours away.

Would recommend this winery as it was the only one that you didn't have to book just to taste wine and we loved the area.

Vasse Felix: A Winery that Embodies the Spirit of Margaret River Region

The Margaret River Region is a place of natural beauty, where ancient geography and Wadandi song lines come together to create a unique and unforgettable experience. It's a place where visitors can exhale, relax, and enjoy the best that Western Australia has to offer. And at the heart of this region lies Vasse Felix, one of its most iconic wineries.

Founded in 1967 by Dr. Tom Cullity, Vasse Felix was the first winery to be established in Margaret River. Today, it remains one of the region's most respected and innovative producers of premium wines. With over 50 years of experience in crafting exceptional wines from some of Western Australia's finest vineyards, Vasse Felix has become synonymous with quality and excellence.

At Vasse Felix, every wine tells a story - a story about the land it comes from, the people who made it, and the passion that went into creating it. From its flagship Cabernet Sauvignon to its elegant Chardonnay and crisp Sauvignon Blanc Semillon blends (known locally as SBS), each wine is crafted with care and attention to detail.

But Vasse Felix is more than just a winery - it's an experience. Visitors can explore its stunning estate gardens or take part in guided tours through its vineyards and winemaking facilities. The restaurant offers an award-winning menu featuring local produce paired with Vasse Felix wines for an unforgettable dining experience.

Vasse Felix also hosts regular events throughout the year including concerts under the stars during summer months or intimate dinners showcasing new releases or rare vintages.

As pioneers in sustainable viticulture practices within Margaret River Region since 1987; they have been committed to reducing their environmental impact while producing high-quality grapes for their wines which are certified organic since 2020 vintage onwards.

In addition to producing world-class wines using sustainable practices; they also support local community initiatives such as sponsoring art exhibitions at nearby galleries or donating funds towards conservation projects aimed at protecting endangered species like quokkas found on Rottnest Island off Perth coast which are endemic only there!

Overall; if you're looking for an authentic taste of Margaret River Region combined with exceptional wine experiences then look no further than Vasse Felix!
