I worked for Vantage for six and a half years. In all my years of working in summer sales, (at multiple companies in different industries) I never worked for more honest, stand up, trustworthy guys, than the owners of Vantage. From the top down, the culture is all about helping the reps succeed. It was a fantastic experience overall. Reps are treated like real people, not just numbers on a spreadsheet.
If you re considering doing door to door sales, Vantage should be your only option. When it comes to the culture and building an environment of success, Vantage is the best in the industry. From the owners down to Management you won t find another company that cares more about each individual rep and their goals for the summer and helping them reach them. I worked for them for 6 years and loved every minute of it!

Vantage Marketing is one of the best companies I've ever worked for. The owners know their stuff and are some of the most honest guys I've ever met. They provide plenty of training to be successful. One of the owners actually came out to our area several times and knocked doors with us just to help us succeed. The compensation was exceptional and I was paid every penny that I earned, and then some. They run great incentives as well. I earned an iPad, dinners, new shoes, and 2 cruises on top of my already great paychecks. If you are willing to go out there and work hard, consider working for Vantage.
Can't believe how honest generous and caring the owners are towards their sales reps. Wouldn't work for anyone else in sales. Worked 3 summers with Vantage. Really helped me gain financial stability through college and helped refine my inter-personal skills
I have worked with Vantage for 3 years now. In Door sales it can be hard to find a company to become loyal to due to the aggressive recruiting from other companies. I continue to work for Vantage year after year because of the way the owners and top managers strive to create a culture of integrity and putting people first.
Sales is not for everyone, you have to be willing to work hard, and actually put in time doing the training to be better at selling. If you are willing to go through the training, and work hard though you have a 95% chance at doing very well!
When you look at bad reviews about sales, or this company you need to think about what the review is talking about. This is a 100% commsion job for the most part. Most negative and positive reviews stem from money. If they complain about it being a scam, or selling pointless services, or a bad city, or hours they typically either did not try to be good at sales or did not work hard while selling. This job is not for everyone but understand for every negative review there is at least 10 people in the same city, selling the same thing with the same hours for Vantage who had a great summer and made a ton of money.
If you are looking into sales, you would be doing yourself a disservice by not sitting down and talking with Vantage and at least seeing for yourself if this is not the best environment to work, and make better money then you will at most jobs these days.
My 3rd year working for Vantage and I have been treated well, I feel like a person and not just another employee. They all treat you well no matter what, it s a tough job but has been well worth it.
