The arrogance and complete lack of customer service here is stunning. I had been in talks with them to purchase a R1250GSA which would top out at 30K+ with taxes. This was a cash deal no financing. All along I was told no problem about a test ride. Back and forth we went for a couple of weeks. Well when I asked how much notice they needed to have a bike ready for a test ride they said I could only ride it around the block cuz they wanted to keep the kms low . Who cares about the consumer only the dealer s needs count here. They did say I could rent one at Cycle BC which BTW has neither the model nor the year. I told them I have bought many vehicles and in over 30 years have never been told no to a test drive. They basically told me that is industry standard which is a pile of BS. I have ridden 3 other manufacturers motorcycles on test rides. There is nothing quite like telling your prospective customer he is a liar. I debated about perhaps buying elsewhere BUT High Road has the BMW dealership for all of Vancouver so I am stuck with them for post sales service. The only BMW owner I know previously told me their service is dodgy , ultra expensive and their attitude is terrible. Read through the 1 star posts on google, there is a theme that runs through all of them abysmal customer service and petty cheapness. This what happens when you have a sole dealer in a region and they are only motivated by greed.
