An impressive and super modern brewery with stylish infrastructure. You can eat well and taste their different beers in the bar downstairs. My esteem of Kasteelbier had increased significantly after my visit!

Definitely worth a visit to the brewery. Eric, our guide, was very good at explaining and explaining the story. Because it is a modern new brewery, it is something different than visiting another brewery. For 12 euros we got 2 tastings in the pub + a big bottle home.

Made a trip here about a couple of months ago to see the beer boutique because it wasn t built when I went to the brewery a couple of years ago. A fantastic place with loads of Kasteel merchandise as well as the amazing selection of beer available.

I managed to get quite carried away and needed up spending around 60 on beer. But there was one very special beer I did indulge in which is the Trignac aged triple. I haven t had the chance to sample it yet as I m sure it will age very well. It is the Kasteel Tripel aged in Cognac barrels. I m sure it will taste fantastic but waiting for The opportune moment to pop the cork. That bottle cost 35 alone.

All in all a great merch shop for the brewery and also sell gift packs, t-shirts, mugs, all the glassware for all the beers including a very exclusive brewery tasting glass for the Trignac beer.

An absolute must visit if you re in the area. The brewery is also a must visit as I ve been before and it s a well detailed walk-through about the history of the place and that the brewery was recently moved to the new location.

A great visit! Many explanations, and we leave with a nice bottle of beer. A great time spent in this beautiful brewery. The beers you drink are very good. Regarding the restaurant, we eat very well. A wide choice of teas of excellent quality. The only downside to this experience were the very posh people next to us who looked down on us, but it's independent of the restaurant ...

Hello. Your brown Kasteelbier is my favorite beer. A nectar! Unfortunately I can't drink alcohol for 6 years for health reasons. Being sure not to be the only one in the case, I wonder if you have ever thought about making this dark beer WITHOUT ALCOHOL 0.0% Alc.
I would very much appreciate a response from you. I thank you in advance.

About Van Honsebrouck Brewery

Van Honsebrouck Brewery: A Legacy of Craftsmanship and Innovation

Welcome to the world of Van Honsebrouck Brewery, where five generations of craftsmanship meet in the most modern brewery in Europe. Founded in 1900 by Amandus Van Honsebrouck, this family-owned brewery has been producing some of the finest Belgian beers for over a century.

The brewery is located in Ingelmunster, a small town in West Flanders, Belgium. The region is known for its rich brewing tradition and fertile soil that produces some of the best hops and barley in the world. The Van Honsebrouck family has been using these local ingredients to create unique and flavorful beers that have won numerous awards and accolades.

One of their most popular brands is Filou, a strong blonde beer with an alcohol content of 8.5%. It has a fruity aroma with hints of citrus and spices that give it a refreshing taste. Another famous brand is Kasteelbier, which comes in three varieties: Rouge, Tripel, and Donker. Each one has its own distinct flavor profile but all share a rich history dating back to medieval times when they were brewed by monks.

But what sets Van Honsebrouck Brewery apart from other breweries is their commitment to innovation. They have invested heavily in state-of-the-art equipment that allows them to produce high-quality beer on a large scale without compromising on taste or quality.

Their brewing process starts with carefully selecting the best ingredients from local farmers who share their passion for quality. They then use traditional methods combined with modern technology to create unique blends that are both delicious and consistent.

In addition to their core brands like Filou and Kasteelbier, they also produce seasonal beers like St Louis Gueuze Fond Tradition which is made using wild yeast found only in the Senne Valley region near Brussels.

Van Honsebrouck Brewery also offers guided tours where visitors can learn about their brewing process while sampling some of their finest beers. The tour includes visits to their fermentation tanks, bottling line as well as tasting sessions where visitors can try different varieties paired with local cheeses or chocolates.

Their commitment to sustainability is also evident throughout their operations as they use renewable energy sources like solar panels installed on the roof of their brewery building which generates enough electricity for up to 100 households per year!

In conclusion, if you're looking for an authentic Belgian beer experience then look no further than Van Honsebrouck Brewery! With over 100 years' worth of experience combined with cutting-edge technology and sustainable practices - this family-owned business truly represents everything great about Belgian beer culture!
