This place is so full of fun and you can tell the residents are very happy. I see them smiling all the time. I sing Karaoke with my daughter on some Saturday's and we look forward to it. The staff are very helpful and kind. Anna, the Program Director cares very much about the resident's there. When I heard "we care for mom and dads" it choked me up. That certainly is what happens at Inspired Living Lakewood Ranch.

Don't allow your loved one to come to the Windermere, FL facility."Assistance" is negligible due to insufficient staffing. The do is equates to "school cafeteria" quality. (No insult intended for schools" Multiple contract violations. Incontinence supplies invariably out of stock. Have to borrow from other residents. Wait months for maintenance requests. Complaints ignored by Corporate personnel as well as on site Mgr. Low morale in employee ranks. High turnover in staff and hourly ranks.
The last year has been tough on everyone, however this company has taken the situation in stride. Our teams have remained positive and committed and we have managed to keep our sense of humor. I feel lucky to work and support such dedicated professionals.
We work with three Validus Senior Living communities - Tampa, Ocoee and Ivy Ridge. Corporate and community staff are exceptional. Their behaviors consistently demonstrate a genuine commitment to providing an excellent quality of life for their residents.
My husband and I have had both our Moms and an aunt at the Inspired Living memory unit in Bradenton, FL. We are both retired physicians and I was an R.N. as well. The care of our family members was excellent. Trish Finnerty, the memory care director, saw to every need of our family. My mother-in-law had an agitated dementia and was a challenging patient. The staff cared for her very patiently and kindly. Direct caregivers Matt and Melanie were also amazing. We highly recommend this facility for patients with memory issues.
I've never felt so unappreciated in my job more than I have working for this company. They show on social media that they care about their teams and maybe at the community level they do, but I assure you the corporate office does not care about anything other than money. During this virus they care more about getting move-ins than they do about keeping their current residents safe.
I am very fond of the associates and the company. I work with many talented and dedicated individuals. Our memory care and programs leadership is easily the best in the industry.
The team I work with is highly skilled; one of the best teams I've had the pleasure if working with.
My parents have lived at Inspired Living Lakewood Ranch for seven weeks. This is my parent s first ALF experience. What a major disappointment! It is a beautiful, clean facility and has an abundance of activities and Facebook posts with a lot of great photos. Unfortunately we have had a negative experience with the Executive Director and the Associate Executive Director (nursing) revolving around communication. There have been four issues that have resulted in significant stress for us. I am appalled at the quality of care and not getting the services that are being paid for promptly or at all. After losing complete trust and confidence in the Executive Director, I contacted the Regional Vice President of Operations, Kim Nadwodny. She listened to my concerns with compassion. I am hopeful that the service experience for all of the residents will be addressed and improved.
The people of Validus Senior Living care about the residents that live in our communities. This care can be seen in the programs implemented for our residents, the effort put in to making a beautiful home for residents, and the fun had welcoming new residents in to the communities. This passion is the basis of the accountability culture implemented by the organization. It's not about being mediocre or "just ok". It's taking personal accountability to ensure our residents are getting the best care possible. It's challenging, unwavering, relentless and a drive like I've never seen in other jobs. This is not an easy crew to run with. There are no light days. But I wouldn't want it any other way.
My mother was one of the first residents of Inspired Living Lakewood Ranch. I was her guardian for the last five years of her life, and struggled to find a community that provided truly excellent care. After having less than positive experiences at other local assisted living communities, I discover Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch.
Even before my mother moved in I was impressed with the attention to detail and assistance provided to make her move a smooth one. I was blown away by the care and compassion shown by everyone from the executive director (Christina Driscoll), to the CNAs and daily caregivers - who all went above and beyond, every day, to care for my mom as through she was a member of their own families.
As my mother's health declined, the associates caring for her kept me in the loop about their observations. When the time was right, they encouraged me to contact hospice and were beacons of light during a very difficult time in my life. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and compassion. I became a Raving Fan.
When a corporate marketing position opened up at Validus I applied and was thrilled to be asked to join this incredible team. The leadership is exceptional. The company's mission and vision, and moral compass all resonate deeply with me. It feels like a fortunate stroke of serendipity to be working now for a company that made such a difference in the life of my mother and me. I am thrilled to be a member of the Validus team.
