Great Winery, nice gardens to share a bottle of wine I loved the experience of the tasting at the bar, great customer service
They take your money outside for tasting , you go inside and it s backed full of people, with standing around to get a place at the bar. Asked for a refund, response, all sales final. Unfriendly and not accommodating. Don t waste your time . Wine is cheap anyway.
Great place filled with good wine and tasty food, as well as many people looking for a tasting experience!
This is a beautiful place and backyard for picnics but the lady in wine tasting room wasn't friendly. We knew that lots of customers right there but she wasn't even smiling to us.
buy some sandwich and a bottle of wine, and then enjoy the sunshine in their picnic area.
Went in early Jan 2020
Beautiful place, set up, etc.
My wine tasting was underwhelming. The person helping us made me feel like I was a number.
The cheese samples on the other hand was AMAZING. The gentleman made us feel special, took us on a food journey, and shared his passion with us.
Great place for wine tasting and a picnic. 5 tastings for $15 is a great price. It does get very crowded. I like that they have picnic tables and grass so you can bring your own food or buy the cheeses and bread. On weekends they also have barbeques.
Beautiful winery, excellent wines, delightful staff.
Beautiful, Italian inspired winery with plenty of greenery and aromatic tasting room. The staff are amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly generous pours. Can definitely spend the day here in their gardens, bring your own picnic or grab a gourmet sandwich. Memorable experience and a must go on a sunny day.
Way too crowded. Food was good, but avoid on a Saturday if you want a more chill experience or to not be around a massive crowd..
Beautiful place. I just get a glass and find a shade tree and smell the roses.
We loved it here. For 20.- per person you can choose to degustation from a wine list with about 20 wines 5. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There are very tasty cold and hot dishes / snacks to buy which you can eat in the park around the house on cozy picnic tables. We felt very welcome and the price / performance ratio was right. Recommended!
Wine tasting costs 20 dollars and 5 glasses. If you like unusual liquors, make sure you try Madonna and Port wine. Balsamic was also very good.
Loved this place. Our server Ed was great and helped us with the tasting.
A exclusive winery that you can visit in napa valley california, there is an entrance of 20 dollars but it can be consumable inside the gift shop. Wines displayed in that winery is limited and can only be bought within the premises, so if you're looking for good quality wine thia might be the place you're looking for.
Awesome winery with a full deli inside. You can buy food and wine then have a picnic outside. Be sure to grab a coupon from the information center in downtown Napa.
Such a beautiful place to have a picnic with friends and family. The food in the deli was absolutely exquisite!
What can I say! V. Sattui is a must for wine tasting. Staff is friendly, their wine is delicious and they have weekend Bbqs here. They also have a deli.
Super crowded, hard to get to wine tender (no lines). Menu is obsolete. Wine selection is so so.
Made a reservation for wine tasting on 6/20/20. No exclusive host for wine tasting with $30 per person fee.... had to wait, but overall Ok experience. After purchasing 3 cases of wine, we were informed that we could grab some food from the deli and have a picnic outside. The table opened up and we grabbed. Extremely rude outdoor hostess came by and said that we had to check in with her first and that other people were already waiting. We literally had 10 min for picnic due to another tasting appointment at a different place. Some other guests invited us to join their table. While the table we originally picked remained empty entire time. The hostess suggested we speak to a manager who never showed up. On the way out I confronted the hostess and mentioned that this is not the customer service I expected especially after the purchase we just made and she said all people spend a lot of money here . She finally called the manager who didn t offer an apology or anything constructive, but rather contradicted me by saying the hostess is really nice . Net, net - they have A LOT to learn about customer service, not to mention completely ruined experience. Don t think I am ever coming back.
The real attraction here is grabbing a bottle of very affordable, high quality wine, stopping by the deli and eating lunch in the picnic area on a beautiful early fall afternoon. Quite an experience.
Try the Madeira...it's crazy. Like drinking Pecan Pie.
Had a great experience and tasting at their terrace followed by a a simple and cosy picknick in their yard. The deli was a bit crowded but still offered everything you need when it comes to wine and cheese.
I went by Napa Wine Train tour, but I enjoyed littering on the lawn of the garden, for the tasting in the wine cellar.
Great place to visit. Loads of interesting foods that go great with wine and a reasonable selection of house wines. All the dips have samples. We didn't eat here in the picnic area but there are many tables and beautiful areas to eat on a sunny day
Excellent..Staff was very friendly and accommodating.Great winery!
This winery is my favorite place!!! I love the many options of cheeses and sauces and deserts. We ate outside and people watched. The area is beautiful! We Tasted wines with the help of a wonderful assistant/worker/wine educator named jordan i believe... and had a great time. He showed us combining wines and how much even better some tasted that way. Get the madeira!! Its the best dessert wine ive tasted! I will definitely be back for more.
Excellent wine in a fun outdoor atmosphere. Many younger people out when we were there. More than I ve experienced at most other wineries. Not sure is was just a random occurrence or the way the brand speaks to people. Either way, we enjoyed our time here and will definitely make our way back here someday. Highly recommend this place if you want to sip tasty wine, paired with bites from their local market onsite in a fun outdoorsy type spot.
A relax place good for the whole family. Good wine at an affortable price. A perfect place for a picnic, especially on the weekends when they have BBQs.
Historic , beautiful, one of my favorite winery in Napa..
If your looking for a great place to drink outside on a park bench in the valley and eat some great food this is your place. They do some fun events in the summer so make sure you check the schedule.
I highly recommend a visit to this winery. Great wines many Award winners great staff. Beautiful grounds to picnic. Wonderful cheeses olive oils bread. You won't find these wines anywhere else you have to get them here at the winery and you'll be glad you did.
My go-to all around fav place in Napa. Only place with picnic grounds. Good wines, cool food choices, great shaded outdoors area. Added plus... Across the street from Dean and Deluca!
The guy at the front entrance welcoming people, and the guy who worked in the vineyard were very friendly. The people working in the shop were curt, bordering on rude. Such a disparity in customer relations and am perplexed how this is possible for staff working in the same winery.
Great spot for a tasting. Big Ed (yes, that s on his name tag) will make sure you have a great experience. Thanks, Ed!
Always love visiting this winery. Amazing wine, good food and of course the staff..... shout out to Julie, wine concierge....she is amazing. Also meeting new people in the crazy state of the a world today... we'll be back
