V's Taproom Reviews

On Saturday March 27, 2021, we were a group of 11 and were celebrating 3 birthdays. The wait was about an hour but we didn't mind. We sat out on the patio to wait for our table.V's Taproom didn't disappoint. A few of the ladies in our group had been to V's Taproom in the past and highly recommended that those of us who hadn't visited in the past visit it that evening. We had an awesome waiter and great service! Not to mention delicious meals and drinks. We are from Tucson and we'll definitely be returning to V's Taproom in the future.

Quality of food exceeded my expectations! Overlooking a golf course while eating was the frosting on my cake! Highly recommend.

We came to V's Taproom for our rehearsal dinner. We had been planning to have this dinner at V's for over a year because of its proximity to Kiva Club, where we were having our wedding. V's could not have been a better choice. I worked with Jon and Clayton to plan our dinner out months in advance and everything worked out beautifully. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and the atmosphere was truly special. We sat on the bar patio for the evening and despite the warm day, the temperature felt cool with the breeze and misters on. Everyone loved their meals, as well! From the apps to entrees to dessert, there was not one thing to complain about. Most of all, the staff was kind, helpful, and efficient with our group of nearly 30 people. We will definitely be back for a nice meal sometime soon (maybe with a few less people though, haha)!

Good food, friendly wait staff and reasonable prices. The scenery, fresh air and the restaurant's organized atmosphere were conducive to a pleasant afternoon. A truly enjoyable experience. Thanks Wendy.

Visit was crowded, but we found a corner and had a great waiter! He was attentive and welcoming despite the crowd.. Dinner was delicious!

Took a friend of the family for a nice lunch time experience. Very good meal, Jose was very professional and helpful, his suggestions helped us to get what we were looking for. We really enjoyed the experience.

Great service and great food! Small but good/interesting menu. A nice selection of wines and draft beer. The pot roast was amazing. The shrimp salad, chicken sandwich and burger were also very good.

Sitting here reflecting on our amazing dinner last night. We met up with a few friends for dinner. They had eaten at V's Taproom previously, but this was our first visit. They were excited to share this place with us because they love it so much!
It was a busy March, Friday evening with cold winds and off and on again rain. We were seated on the patio tucked in near the fireplace with a heater next to the table. While we waited for the last couple, we enjoyed drinks, appetizers and a fabulous atmosphere. We quickly forgot we were having unusual weather.
Our server was top notch. She glided in and away quietly keeping our drinks filled, without interrupting the conversation. At some point the GM, Jon Morgan, stopped over to check on us. We told him it was our first visit. He quickly ran through some suggestions. I have a food allergy and asked about what I should consider to avoid any issues with cross contamination. He detailed their high standards of excellence to avoid these concerns. He reminded me to always alert the server so she can remind the chef. He made some excellent suggestions.
We were enjoying the conversation so much, he explained the area and the other properties owned by the company. He surprised us with a visit from the chef, as well. The chef actually offered to make some dinner choices not even on the menu! It was so nice to have such a personalized experience with exceptional service from beginning to end.
It is nearly impossible to put into words the high quality of the food and presentation. All meals were delivered hot and delicious and together. Sadly, it seems the quality of restaurant food has declined considerably these days. This was not the case with V's Taproom. It was such a wonderful change in experience and took us back to the days when restaurants really care about the total package experience.
I assure you that all of us will be back... often! This may be our "Go To" restaurant of choice from now on. Even if we have to wait for a table, we know that every minute is worth the wait. Thank you Jon, for your time on a busy evening. Please thank you chef and staff (from server to bartender). We could not have been more impressed! We will see you on our next visit, and the visit after that, and so on and so forth. You have created a regular customer from your standard of excellence.
