A review about "Uw Energie Huis" aka "Uw Energie Expert", a more correct name would rather be "How to spend your money on us".
Let's get started
In September/October 2020 when I get a call asking if I want to install solar panels.
I answer positively and they make an agreement that a seller will come by.
It was there quickly, is also oneof the few things that went fast.
The young man explains everything and makes a quote of a total of 70 solar panels 400W to place at three different addresses.
I contact a friend of mine and he shows some shortages, including the optimisers are failing.
I contact the young man again, thinking "anyone can make a mistake".
He doesn't want to come back because he's hurt in his honor, but another salesman comes along.
We look at everything and agree on the 3 yards, an investment of around 45,000€ paid in advance because that was how it had to be (20 in Ostend, 20 in Vergnies and 30 in Merelbeke).
For in Ostend, the seller is sure that 20 can be placed.
The 20 in Vergnies would also not be a problem, later apparently only 18 can be placed but 20 have be paid.
For in Merelbeke, 30 solar panels could easily be installed as a waterproof roof on a greenhouse.
Because I want everything to run smoothly, I write an email to "Uw Energie Expert" with the question if someone can come and see in Merelbeke to be sure that what has been agreed can be realized.
The planner calls back and assures me that someone will come and see me in advance to reassure me that what has been agreed would not be a problem.
In the meantime, the solar panels are being installed in Ostend, but without an inverter and without optimisers...
Three weeks before the installation date, in front of the shipyard in Merelbeke, I call "Uw Energie Expert" and get the charming Mirjam on the phone.
I ask when someone will come because this was agreed.
I am connected to the planner and they are assured that someone will come and see me.
A week before the placement date, I call back and get the patient and charming Miriam on the phone again. I would like to say that it is now really close and that no one has been there yet.
I would indicate that if the placement could not be done as agreed, it would also be far too late to find a solution and if it could not be done it would not be our problem but theirs since they have been given sufficient opportunities.
If it wasn't for the fact that they had already been paid for the 3 yards, I think I would cancel it because that didn't give me a good feeling.
It is the beginning of December and the installers of the solar panels come on site and immediately say that the installation cannot take place because what has been promised cannot be done.
They drive back away and in the meantime, I call "Uw Energie Expert" to inform them and remind them of my email and phone calls related to their visit for the placement.
An hour later they are back and place the solar panels next to the building on part of a parking lot and a petanque court.
And there they are still today, February 23, 2023.
At the end of November/mid-December, the inverter was installed in Ostend and shortly afterwards everything was inspected.
I call where the installation of Vergnies remains and they postponed it until the beginning of the year 2021, because in Wallonia the end date of 2020 did not count.
After many calls in January and February, they are finally placed in March (payment had already been made in November 2020...).
Only 18 can be used, so they take heavier ones to reach almost the requested kWh.
You can write the financial difference in kWh on your stomach because then they are not at home because you have received heavier ones, but not the KWH that I ordered...
The optimiser and the inverters are not there.
After many punches and bumps, the mistakes, not the requested kWh, have been corrected in Vergnies and in Ostend.
But it did cost me a fine at the electricity company at Vergnies because "Uw Energie Expert" had to come by to connect to the cabinet outside and they only arrived 6 hours later, without reporting anything. So, an unnecessary relocation of the employee of the electricity company...
In the meantime, several e-mails have been written and many have been called to "Uw Energie Expert” to solve the problem on the site in Merelbeke, all our numbers have now even been blocked at "Uw Energie Expert" so that we can no longer reach "Uw Energie Expert".
Just a resume from last year (2022)
After a lot of phone calls and emails or texts, we get an appointment with Yves, right-hand man of the boss Donat Gashi.
When we leave, we have a good feeling that it will be solved this time, but we were fooled for a while.
Again, no follow-up or no more answer on the part of "Uw Energie Expert".
I just call back and write and suddenly get the direct number of that Donat Gashi.
Also, a person who promises a lot but here it ends.
That's why the staff of "Uw Energie Expert" is just the mirror image of their boss, I would say.
Many times, Donat Gashi promises to offer a solution.
Donat Gashi says he sent an email, but it never arrived.
If you ask Donat Gashi for which e-mail address, Donat Gashi is always on his way to his office and Donat Gashi will call back after an hour...
What a prankster, that Donat Gashi ...
I called back to that Donat Gashi several times myself and invariably fell on Donat Gashi's voicemail .
I would forget one day, after much arguing, Yves makes an appointment to come and see and measure that roof at the beginning of 2022.
I drive from Ostend to Merelbeke to see that Yves is there and makes the measurement.
That Yves is not there, and again we have not been notified, because he would have had a serious car accident and been injured (remember this sentence well for further on...).
An older man is there and measures everything.
That older man promises that the roof will be there at the end of February/beginning of March.
Another jokester...
On August 2, again after much wrangling and threats, THE big boss Donat Gashi, him himself, will stop by with an employee to measure everything and meet immediately.
I drive from Ostend to Merelbeke again and only see the employee.
Mr Donat Gashi certainly has a serious car accident and is injured so he is not there (didn’t hear this excuse before...).
That employee measures everything and promises that everything will be solved within the month.
Nothing to this day...
Since we are affiliated with the NSZ (National Syndicate of the Self-Employed), we have NSZ send a registered letter to "Uw Energie Expert".
The only response is an indignant phone call as to why we are sending a registered letter.
We kindly try to refresh this lady from "Uw Energie Expert" and get the promise again that they will fix this...
This was the last contact we had because "Uw Energie Expert" blocked our numbers...
If I may give you one sincere piece of advice, "STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THEM AS POSSIBLE OR THEY WILL BE GONE WITH YOUR PENNIES AND YOU WILL BE STUCK WITH THE BLOBS"
