One of the best and old engineering college in Karnataka. And only college that is affiliated to Bangalore University

Old is gold - may be this golden words applied to this college. This college is administrated by Bangalore university. And this university is turning 100 on 2017.

Quality of education is good. But class rooms are old and facilities are limited.

Overall this is the great college for students those who have high ambition about their future

Irresponsive office workers, they only don't know about their College.

I am very proud to say that I am an UVCEian. Very good Government Engineering college in karnataka founded by Sir MV in 1917. Good placement opportunities and chances to involve students in multiple technical as well as cultural fests. Good chances to grow technically as well as to get leadership qualities. Since it is a government college infrastructure is not as good as compared to private engineering colleges.

Visited yesterday for college admission.very bad experience .staffs are too lazy and show too much attitude towards student.there is no proper procedure to submit documents.had bad experience with electrical department document submission .two sirs talk very roudly
With student.as becoming sir they dont have common sense to guide students.compare to them student of that college name is kishan he is too good.guided us politely nicely.these sir have to learn from kishan how to behave.i dont know how these people guide students.these sirs spoiling history of college.lectures are busy in phones.

I went here for seat acceptance for CCMT-2016. It took 15 min for whole process of doc verification and completion.Its near from SBC rly stn.

Those who want to do Mtech/ME in power and energy system better don't opt ..Those who are coming with gate rank better join NIE myosre or Sjce mysore or better join Ubdt davangere for Mtech in power system ..The only thing you will get is college prestige nothing else ..The above mentioned colleges have good internship opportunity in Power system ..
