Adam Moore and Megan Rogers are amazing. I have seen SO many counselors over the years, Megan is the only one who's never given up on me or told me I was "too much" for her to help. She gets me and I have been seeing her for cPTSD for 3 years now. I've had no issue with appointments or scheduling or the staff either. This is the best place you can go to for counseling. Keep in mind, counseling is work. Just like a marriage is work. If you aren't willing to do the work suggested to help your marriage, that is on YOU, not your counselor.

They have shown me how to look at life in a new way and have shown me several different ways of coping with pain. I have had two therapists here, Micah and Colton. They have both been very caring and competent.

As far as billing goes, they've been very willing to work with me. One time I forgot my card to pay and they said they would just charge me next time. Another time, I paid but realized later that I didn't have enough money on my card for the appointment so I called them later in the day and they were able to change the card charged before the payment went through.

I recommend this place.

We have been seeing Micah for several months now, and he is by far the most excellent therapist we have ever seen. He is kind, caring, compassionate, and has helped me and my husband get our marriage back on track after some poor choices my husband made. Micah is excellent at what he does, and has helped us have many breakthroughs. It s not easy, because effective therapy means far more than just talking about your problems. You have to actually go home and do the work and practice what is learned. It has been some of the hardest work we have ever done, and are so grateful to Micah for helping us get to this point. It has been so worth all the hard work! I would recommend Micah hands-down to anyone who is needing a little extra help navigating life s problems.

Marriage Counseling was terrible. The counselor seemed much more interested in helping us divorce instead of helping the marriage. We're now in the divorce process.

The billing department was absolutely awful. They overbill, they don't answer their phone and don't return voice mails. I'm still trying to get a refund which they said they wouldn't refund to my HSA card because it looks like fraud and demanded to send me a check. Sending someone a check is much more likely fraud than a refund. This place is fishy and if they ever get me the refund I will then have to do some kind of paperwork to get that back on my HSA.

One star is even too much for them. They were so kind and caring to receive my business at first but as soon as we had an appointment they decided they personally didn t want to see me. They wouldn t return my phone calls, refer me to someone else, give me a reason why they wouldn t see me or even answer the phone after the 5th day. Stay away from these guys. Find someone who actually wants to help. These guys have an agenda.

Worst experience I have had working with a billing department. No one seems to know what is going on. After doing the billing myself they somehow received the insurance check, since they require payment before services the insurance check was owed to me, Utah Valley Counseling cashed it and never bothered to pay me. Adam from billing is rude and very unprofessional.

I think the therapist and the approach of the practice is good. I am frustrated with their lack of coverage by popular insurances such as Aetna. That is the only reason I didn't give them 4 stars.

The therapist I saw was great! Very professional, approachable, and kind. And my experience with the billing department was smooth. Lindsay took care of everything promptly, and she seemed friendly and pleasant to work with.

We were so pleased with the service our family received. They were professional, comprehensive, communicative, and just great to work with. We wouldn't even consider going anywhere else! We recommend them to everyone who finds themselves in need of a little extra help!

Our experience was mediocre. There was a lot of big talk about hopeful changes and activities/coping mechanisms they would teach us and it ended up being the same old stuff about reading books and repeating the same thing each session. Felt like our therapist kind of got bored of us.

I highly recommend Utah Valley Counseling and our therapist Shawn Talbot. Shawn has worked with our son and us to create a better family environment and I believe he has been incredibly successful at improving our dynamic as a whole. Shawn is caring and helps everyone put boundaries in place in order for all of us to be successful in our roles as parents/child. The office of UVC has been responsive to both payment and appointment inquiries. I cannot say enough good things about Shawn and UVC. While I cannot speak of other reviews, our experience has been great and I believe this practice is top notch.

This group is horrible to work with on the billing side of things. They are non-responsive and slow. Then when you finally talk to a person they have the audacity to tell you what they will not do instead of what they will do to help you get your money from the insurance companies. This group makes it very difficult to work with insurance companies. So difficult. Not happy with their level of service at all. To be fair though the counseling staff is excellent.
