Been in the military a long time. Worst base ever. Area is nice I'm a country boy so this ain't to bad. Fair place poor base.

I want fishing there a few years back. Everyone we dealt with was courteous, professional and helpful. Really made us feel welcome, put us on the right pounds and offered to feed us lunch. Great people, America's finest for sure!!!

This is a horrible base and the surrounding town is completely amuck. They take advantage of the soldiers being here, especially the cops and try to find every reason to pull you and give their ridiculously high tickets so that you can somehow contribute the building of their new buildings. Nothing makes sense here, and when you try to find out one thing, you have to call ten people who all instead of try to help you directly, give you the number to someone else who themselves know nothing about what you need. This place is total waste of energy to live in and probably the worse army base known.

Most people loved this unit, however this was my first and last unit, such terrible memories.

My first duty station back in the early 80's....I was a truck driver in A--company 92nd engineer battalion.....was surprised to see they are still a part of the base ....I was 24th infantry div. Back then..

Stationed here 1998-2002 hated it. Now I miss it, 3ID is the best Division in the army hands down. Can we please move the division to Augusta and send TRADOC south?

A lot more family activities for younger kids than most places.
