I have no issues with their providers. I am reviewing strictly based on billing practices. A word to the wise- if you expect to be paid, you should make sure the bills are addressed to the Guarantor and not the minor on the account. This is the second time I have had an issue(and been sent to collections) and it s a different child. I don t necessarily see the bills if my teen intercepts it thinking it is for him. The one I found was in his room!

I would be happy to talk to someone who is knowledgeable about patient statements as it relates to their software program generating it. The Guarantor or Subscriber should be getting the bill. It should not be addressed to a minor. I also got the 3rd bill today in the mail but was turned over several days ago which makes no sense.

They are too inept to even capture all the billing information required to properly process a claim. They work for hospital medical providers, and have access to everything they need to seamlessly bill all the parties who cover medical services. I'm unsure why any medical professional or organization would choose to work with this company given their inadequacies.

My son was in emergency room 4 months ago. Bill came like 1500 dollars. Now after4 months US Acute sent my bill to collsection. Some how I owed then more then 3 000 dollars. Please some explanation will be appreciated. And answer your phone please

This company is absolutely horrible. I went to an in-network hospital because I had a TIA. When I got home I have 4 bills .all covered by insurance. A week later I get a bill via text from these people saying my insurance didn t pay (I have Humana military and Blue Cross Blue Shield). I called and she said disregard the bill. A few days later my insurance paid them and I paid the $31 coinsurance.
The proceeded to send me a new $1500 bill(an amount above my entire catastrophic cap). At no point in the hospital did they disclose that they were not covered by ANY insurance. I did not sign anything to say I would be responsible for the bill beyond what my insurance would pay.
Every single person should report and sue them. I m not paying them a dime. I ll take the credit hit.

I have been paying my bill regularly until one month I logged on and the website would not take my payment. I chatted with someone and they said it would be taken care of. The next month same thing. Later I got an automated call that the website was updated so I logged in to pay and my balance was zeroed out and sent to collections and no one will help me. They feel now that they've done this they can give me information I needed previously. I am highly dissatisfied. I will do what I can to educate people to avoid dealing with this company and it's predator class owners.

As others have pointed out, this company and the health care facilities they work with are complete scam artists. Their practices and customer support are awful. I called in asking for details on what I'm being billed for and the woman gave a generic response and could not provide real info on the charges. THIS TYPE OF COMPANY IS THE REASON US HEALTH CARE ARE THE WORST.

Got a response saying to call back and ask for a supervisor. Well, I did ask for a supervisor yesterday....the woman kept speaking over me then abruptly said I have to put you on hold, didn't tell me why, and left me there waiting for a long time until I finally decided to hang up.

Got sent a bill for care. Not itemized, didn t even have an actual date on the bill. I knew what it was for, but not everyone is observant. You can t send a bill to someone not specifically saying what it s for. Tried multiple times to get them to call me and they never have.

I don t know how people who work for medical billing companies sleep at night.

Honestly this place doesn t even deserve a star rating, seems like a ponze scam within healthcare. Went to the ER got a hefty 5k bill from the hospital and then an additional 1k bill from a place called US acute, which no one from the billing department of the hospital informed me I would get. If I would have known I would receive an additional bill I would have went elsewhere. Tried to make a payment plan and they WILL NOT work with you, if you don t pay the bill off within a year they turn you into collections. This place is joke and should be shut up down, but it s just another way for our government to Jew you through the healthcare system.
