Great unpasteurized 1 Litre Ursus for 15 RON. Cool music and nice to see the beer vats. Friendly and quick service.

Sunday evening, July 23, after the concert of Depeche Mode, when thousands of people were running on their own through Cluj after a place where you could find something to eat, I went to this famous place. We were a group of 10 people, who wanted to eat, the last meal being lunch at the same time, it took 1 hour to find a place to eat. The response from the Ursus Brewery when we wanted to order food, hit us like a bar: the kitchen closed no longer serving food. There were several hundred people there, all came from the concert, I saw those specific bracelets in their hands, and they all wanted to eat. It was difficult to understand the obtuseness of the staff of the Ursus Brewery, which was evidently taken by surprise, like many other places in Cluj, by the magnitude of this artistic event. I had to search for about 20 minutes through the area, so I could find a single fast food place where food was served. There it was full, like me, dozens of hungry people were trying to eat but it seems that in Cluj, on Sunday night, it is impossible. Shame on the Local Administration, as otherwise in Romania, unexpectedly, shame on the local patrons who did not anticipate that in addition to the usual volume of tourists from Cluj, such a concert will bring a flow of several tens of thousands of people who will and he must eat. A shame palm on the otherwise very fine image of Cluj.

Waiters look rare. Nearly cold food served. Good beer.

Good beer, but expensive 2 in Romania! Acceptable kitchen, regular service - slightly slow and bored

It is a very beautiful restaurant with a great variety of options. However the table was dirty and none of the waiters bothered to come clean it - we wiped it ourselves. Also the service from the waiters were bad and unprofessional. The food was also not fresh, which was disappointing.

Beautiful location, with large terrace, spaced tables, waiters have a plus, respect the current condition with mask and gloves. Very good, tasty food and large portions. Recommended!

Bar and restaurant in the refurbished cavernous halls of a 19th century brewery. Popular with students from Cluj's Agricultural and Veterinary University across the road. Organises regular live music nights. Prices moderate.

They turned the Ursus Breweries factory into an excellent place, keeping some of the instalations used by the factory. The beer is very, very good; you can chose from premium, black or nonfiltered beer, from small pintes to 1L tankards. I recommend the place for a usuall night out, with lots of friends, though intimate conversations may be harder to keep. Its a place most desired by group of 4-8 people, but you can still go there with your date.

Beautiful place full of kids. The beer is also excellent for food.

The cooking time for small exaggerated longs when the time was not high and the occupancy of the terrace did not exceed 10% of the capacity! The premium "Ursus" beer on the pint: acacia and without the specific acidity of a quality beer! Probably "baptized"!

Beautiful location, there are "memories" from the old factory .... but some of the female staff (waitresses) do not know how to be kind, without charisma

The atmosphere is nice and casual, I love the decoration. Good beer. Very good portion of food. The Smoked Pork Osso buco was very tender, slowly cooked and could melt in your mouth. The restaurant was busy but we were served quickly. Would recommend it to a friend.

It takes a while before you get your food, but the staff is friendly and the food is worth it. Nice location, although when it's busy (which it is most of the time), it's pretty annoying when you want to relax.

We felt welcome, very nice waiters, delicious ribs, so hummus, and unfiltered beer was great. I recommend.

In general i like this place. Even if the quality of the food is not so regular, and that the prices are slightly elevated compared for what you get

A great place. The service is very good. The food is Excelent and it is big enough for any group. Besides that, they have the club in the same location. And the club is one of the best in town.

I am coming in Cluj every year for visiting friends and most of the times I feel the need of drinking an original Ursus beer . I live now in Germany .... the land of the great beer but nothing compares with the missing of the home beer taste . Food was also good , a bit American ....International style ....not really possible to categorise it , but generally a pleasant atmosphere .

Everything is great about this place: great service, atmosphere, music, food and drinks. It's very elegant and retro, which makes it kinda unique. It's got an unique style and probably the best beer in town. The prices are to be expected for the delicacies they make though, 100% would recommend anything from their menu (they also have a huge range of choices from which you can pick). Definitively coming here again soon

Great place with history. I've been here many times. The Euphoria salad is good. Waiters are sometimes not very nice. Quite pricey for this location.

Bodiguarzi Tarani. Security is zero in front of the premises. And the waitresses take advantage of you by bringing you free drinks from the worst drinks.

I won a menu for four people. I collaborated with a gentleman on the phone for all the details, he was very patient, he showed a lot of professionalism and pleasure in helping clients. What we ordered were: Euphoria salad, broths, shrimp pasta and barbecue potatoes. We were most impressed with the salad! We recommend it to anyone, anytime: light, delicious and very satiated :)
