I went there with a big group of people and i was not that hungry, so besides some drinks i asked for a side of french fries. They said unless i order something to go with it, they can serve me. Not very inteligent!!!
A bar where you feel like a beer factory as it is arranged and decorated. Quality and well diversified beer. Tasty food that goes well with a beer. Summer terrace is a very good option for an evening of relaxation or stories with friends.
Besides being in the former brewery, it has very little to do with what Ursus once meant. The atmosphere is nice, the service was a bit slow. The prices seemed high.

Serving left, some of the staff is a little arrogant. The location is beautiful. The menu could be changed, (it's just a suggestion, an eggplant salad with tomatoes in the season I think they would be welcome).

I visited this place on the occasion of the college ball where I am. For beer lovers, like me, but also for those who are good-natured and entertaining, this is a good restaurant. Maybe we'll see you there for a glass of beer and a few changed ideas!

Informal environment in the center of Cluj-Napoca. Great for those who love craft beer. Good food offer. Quick service.
Local brewery with reasonable food. Very wide menu (too). Hamburgers, pizzas, steaks, hot dogs, etc.

I loved this micro brewery the food is very affordable and they gave us free club entrance which was just steps away, we had a ton of fun, we had a planned bachelorette party it was awesome
Restaurant in which you can eat very well being comparable to the food in the 4 star restaurants. The location looks gorgeous, made up of several rooms. The restaurant is located on the former location of the brewery. In the restaurant you can also drink unfiltered beer prepared on the spot. From the restaurant you can see the boilers in which the beer is prepared. The prices are a little higher, but it is worth it. The car can be parked in the underground parking lot of the mall next to the restaurant.

I asked for a beer and a portion of french fries to wait for the rest of my friends and they refused my portion of french fries because they do not serve "garnishes". I asked him to bring that in just 30 minutes we order food for all the diners. They are very rigid and ignorant, woe and bitter about this Cluj and about places with high prices and ZERO services.
Do not order the Fish and Chips!
The brilliant "company policy" is that no side dishes are included with the main dishes... So the "Fish and CHIPS" item from the menu does not have the CHIPS included :D If you actually want to eat them you must order them on the side and pay extra. And the second part is that the dish is actually cornmeal fish fillet with pea puree (really far from fish and chips). And you get no mayo :/ I ordered it on the side but I got some kind of sour cream and garlic sauce. These people have no idea what this dish means.
Unfortunately this place used to be better and I used to enjoy eating here.... we will be avoiding it from now on.
I am also considering writing a complaint with the authorities since it's a it's a misleading tactic to write fish and chips but only serve the fish... lol
EDIT: I see that I got a generic answer from the PR team that in no way whatsoever addresses the actual isuue or aknowledges the problem they have. Another dissapointment and waste of time....
Great place to go with a big group as the place is very spacious, the food is definitely worth the trip there.
I got some of the marinated ribs and a Chocolate Souffle. The ribs themselves were amazingly tender, delicious and came clean of the bones. I did not really like the sauce that comes with the ribs, it was too sweet for me so I barely ate any.
The Souffle was spot on and not too sweet and the ice cream with ground pistachios complemented it perfectly. The place is a bit pricey, but I believe the food is worth going for from time to time.
The servers were really nice and very fast in their services. We had seats at the balcony and there was almost always a server there on stand by.
The location itself is quite nice, as they decorated it with beer bottles chandeleries, a wall with a huge bear (Ursus logo) made of broken pieces of floor tiles (I think). I do recommend to make a reservation in advance if you go with a group, as the place was quite packed on a Thursday evening.
I usually come here for a pizza and few beers. Everything is just fine. Service is very good.

It's a bit of a shame not to use such capital as Ursus has. First of all, the largest brewery in Romania, which, together with the restaurant brewery, offers only one Lager and unfiltered Lager, plus some radlers is a big shame. The quality of beers is typical for a weak concern, i.e. the level of Warka or ywiec. Cool decor and the place itself are the only advantages of this place.
Good place to eat in the city and a very cosy one to spend wonderful nights with your friends!
