Unique items, however... cleanliness makes it standoffish, a bit. The staff was friendly, but overall, wasn't too impressed.

Luxury products but not necessarily veterinary-approved.

I was buying dog food from Urban Tails Pet Supply, but was told by my veterinarian that the product I was buying is not actually a good choice. Essentially, it contained exotic proteins and food ingredients that are not recommended for dogs. I thought the high price meant quality for my dog, but my (PHD-Holding) veterinarian told me that was not the case. I would have expected Urban Tails to do their research and carry products that were good for my dogs health. I would recommend doing your own research and/or just buying a vet-recommended brand from someone else.

Knowledgable and super friendly staff. They are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you and your pet are happy. Can't recommend them enough!

I already loved this store, but after meeting the owner yesterday I love it even more. My fiance and I headed over there not knowing when it was closing. we got there just as the owner was locking the door. He let us know that they were closed for the day. And I said that's okay we can come back tomorrow for minnows. The owner was like "the dried minnows?"

I explained how my cat had been lost in the freezing cold in February for 3 weeks. He is on a no carbohydrate starvation recovery diet. He loves minnows more than anything and that's a treat he's allowed to have. But I had just run out. The owner went inside the store got the largest bag of minnows they had and told me just to take them that he was happy my cat was home and recovering. It was so kind of him and really shows how much he cares for animals.

My favorite pet store in the cities! I was lucky enough to meet the owner at one of my jobs, he was so kind and grateful when I expressed how much I love his shop and was such a down to earth guy. I m so happy they re open indoors and I love the array of natural and unique treats and IQ toys they carry. It was my pups first birthday yesterday and I wanted a cake for him and his litter mate to enjoy, they close at 6 (I get off of work at 6) and I called the store to ask if it would be a huge inconvenience if I showed up for pick up at 6:15 (knowing they d be trying to close up) they were sooooo accommodating and let me know that they would have someone stick around for me to ensure I got my bag, I knocked on the window and they even addressed me by name and wished my dog a happy bday. Top tier customer service and such a cute place!

I'm really happy to have found this place after moving to Minneapolis with my kittens. Very high quality and wide selection of food and care items, with fair pricing as well. And I always learn something new with each visit about what kind of products suit my cats, the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful in finding exactly what my boys need.

These guys always welcome me and my dogs with a smile. Its that kind of experience you get when you live in a small town, and everyone that works there gives you a personal experience, except in the middle of a big city.
I really can appreciate seeing another small-business thrive in town due to outgoing and friendly employees and shop owners. A+.
