Urban Outfitters has the best street dance scene in San Francisco I've witnessed in all of 2020. Of course, it might have just been five hobos vigorously making love in the alley, but it can be hard to tell the difference in SF sometimes. Either way, it was an incredibly energetic and pleasurable event which is precisely what I wanted in this October summer. I was shocked when the Levi's crew came out (no jeans, what a surprise!) and wicked out-danced the Urban Outfitters peeps, but then U.O. stepped up hard. Somehow their dancing made my gutter snails taste even better. I. Have. Been. Floored. Y'all!
I've been to several urban outfitters, most of them are the same. This one is really cool. It has 3 floors, the bottom is my favorite. It consists of the guys section and home accessories. Twice we've been down there and there was a band playing live music, awesome. Worth a visit.
Nice shop with all sorts of cool clothing and decoration stuff in an interesting building.
Not as good as other UO I've seen around the world. Poor variety for its size.
This place always has style over sales...a place to get fresh, without the debt.
I got this awesome sweater there, and I accidentally left my sunglasses there and somebody actually came out of the store and called to me on the sidewalk to return them to me!! Thank you, Urban Outfitters.
This place is very well organized. The staff is friendly and the clothes are really nice. It is pretty expensive to shop here but the clothes are really nice. I would recommend going here.
used to shop at Urban Outfitter shops (mainly NY and online), however one particular experience at this store changed it completely and I will not shop at UO ever again.
This store has zero customer service. I was in SF for a holiday last week and was right in front of the shop when one of my shopping bags fell apart. Unfortunately it was food with liquid inside. So I rushed in to a familiar store (UO) in a hope to get a bag to safe my husband who was holding the food that kept dripping onto his hands and on the street. I quickly went straight to the counter and asked for a bag, gave him the 10c, and the guy asked me if I bought anything at the store. I said "no" because I had not purchased anything, although I was going to before the incident happened. He simply pulled the bag back from my hand and said no bag if you have not purchased anything. I quickly explained the situation but he did not care.
Seriously???!! I'm not sure if this is a company store or not, but a bit of compassion goes a long way for me. And in this case, the other way around. Goodbye UO forever!
1. Paid $400 bucks for a dresser off their website that looked like a $59 pressboard dresser from Walmart.
2. Took 6 weeks for it to arrive. Not their fault - their deliverer is a sub- contractor. It is their fault they continue to work with sub-contractors that are so backlogged. It didn t take me 6 weeks to pay for the dresser?
3. Dresser arrives- classic bait and switch . The dresser shown online is not what is delivered. Legs are Wobbly, drawers didn t shut, random holes screwed in it, and grossly discolored.
4 . Lesson learned; Urban outfitters is that classic overly hyped brand that benefits the investment firms today - the brand is probably about to floo. hyper- stylized online presence- beneath the fakeness is no real company - or quality brand just layers upon layers of sub-contractors!
5.Everyone is a contractor from the customer service reps , the people who assmeble the cheapo furniture, to the people who deliver the cheap furniture
6.-UO represents everything that has happened to america since the rise of corporations.
7. When you call customer service you never speak to an actual UO employees all are cheap out-sourced, sub contracted labor, who have no power when you call them. They Just shrug their shoulders and tell you it will take another 4 weeks for them to come get the dresser and only then can they process your refund?
8. You will regret buying furniture from them.
Never again.
Good store with good clothes but staff are not that friendly and are not easy to identify at all. Do not offer to order in sizes which are unavailable.
Trendy place loved by millenials. I was wondering why I see so many like-minded youths wearing Fjallraven Kanken backpacks in San Francisco when it is a product once upon a time only available in Sweden. Albeit it is an environmentally responsible Swedish company deserving our support, I began to wonder if Sweden has become the new trendy place for American youths to flock... until I found such backpack sold here! More trendy items popular with todays youths is the FCUK clothing line which you find here. This is a great store to buy gifts for teenagers: though items are expensive, they are trendy and your young adults will find you cool for buying such trendy gifts :))))
Good selection of clothes but was treated rudely by one of the staff members which really bothered me.
Suburban Outfitters might be more accurate; it used to be awesome and kinda edgy - now it's more like a less hip jcrew, although treasures can still be unearthed esp. in the lower level housewares dept.
Several levels full of women s and men s clothes and lots of other stuff! Really liked it!
Be careful - no warranty if you live abroad
I bought, 10 month ago, a 300$ jacket in store (SFC) that is already broken (zipper)
I live abroad
I wrote many emails, i called,
No refund - no repair - no exchange - nothing
I used to go to UO each time i visited USA since more than 10 years
My wife looks amazing in everything from Urban. This is a solid spot with 3 floors.
Minimal selection of clothing, but too minimal for most customers
My favorite shop stop, unique clothing and Retro items here. Fast service great atmosphere.
Surprisingly large store, and has a lot of variety.
The store was a discombobulated mess and it was hard to get anyone to help me find what I was looking for.
Huge UO. Mostly small or extra small sizes available.
No else hasUnique clothing and knick and knacks that
Too expensive, not enough size verity and no employees any where to help. I was extremely disappointed in this visit.
Found some of the stuff I was looking for but the staff had no idea what we were talking about when we asked where these items were.
I always love dropping in to this store. It's fun to browse all the cool books and random things but they also have some very cool clothes (pricey tho). Whether I'm looking to buy or not I always stop in for a browse.
Love going here looking at the clothes and home design items. Planning my new wardrobe and house
I really like the clothes and the style of this store, but their is like no stretch material in the jeans, which sucks for women who have hips, thighs, etc, because the clothes just fall off of us. If they are some stretch they might be able to sell to a bigger demo.
Some for the brands they sell here are poor quality. Many times i've bought something and they fall apart. So have my friends. But i really enjoy see the decor, there's alot of creativity
Impressed by the staff, very knowledgeable and helpful. Enjoyable experience.
Mediocre and waay more than I feel comfortable paying for clothing. I like the fun selection of cosmetics and hair products. But other than that, their sizes run large and it seems like all of their stuff is so boxy. Not my fave.
Various stylish, extraordinary and special clothes. The store has a good atmosphere. I enjoyed shopping there.
I always really liked what Urban Outfitters offers (designer t-shirts, crazy socks, books / vinyls not found elsewhere etc.)
However, I find that these days (1-2 years), the prices have become quite high (for items that can be found at half the price) and above all, the assortment does not vary greatly, we are there. finds relatively similar articles without real risk taking as in the past. Even so, the American OUs are much more varied and notably offer "sale" corners with great offers to grab!
Despite this, I have to admit that I remain curious every time I pass by and don't hesitate to take a look.
Always has clothes on sale in the basement. Crew are friendly and helpful. The swinsuit are beautiful !
I've only ever gotten a gift card for a girl here. lol
Many stories worth of Urban Outfitters but overall probably the same or less inventory (it seems) as one that is in a more suburban location where there is more space. Despite the small size found everything was looking for. Even though there was a mild line the staff were speedy and friendly and overall a great experience.
The staff is friendly and good looking. However, I find it almost hard to get through the sale racks. On a lighter note, I love the new featured artists that play in the background.
