The Barista says they are too busy so 3 tables which was 7 customers did not get served, I have seen this happen on 3 different occasions week & weekend, he the Barista is the most unprofessional & rudest barista come waiter you would ever meet, & we are 6 business & professional locals who used to be regular customers, The owner should get a Barista who treats the customers with respect & serves them not refuse service & abuse them & we know of others who no longer come there because of his rudeness

Only came here the once with my Mum, but had a great meal. Tony (the owner) & the rest of his staff made a great effort while we were there to stop & say hi to everyone and make sure their meal was okay - Something that you don'y get as much in the busier cafes across at Newtown. Will definitley come back.

Quality of food is very high.

Homestyle breakfast and good lunch menu. Always consistently good with their menu.

Owner is a local and his personalized service makes a difference. Always willing to have a quick chat. And little things like coming out from behind the counter to hand you your takeaway is why I like this place so much.

The banana bread and ricotta made my day, if not week. The family run atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. Sadly for them business doesnt usually pick up very much however this means a table is almost always assured. Located very perfectly in an ever developing area, the friendly staff have never hesitated to fill up my tyres with their handy pump on the way home.

Very lovely and chill place, focus is on tasty basics (like Cafe Sophia) more than hipster frippery (like Shenkin or Fleetwood) not that either is inherently better Standout is the charming service. 'Urban Cat Cafe' was here before, but I think Piccolo is much better!

Good food but expensive for standard cafe fare. Experience ruined by another customer man spreading himself uninvited and aggressively taking over our table invited to do so by the customers at the table next to us. For that much money

Wasn t a very welcoming experience, using eat club here and felt like we were committing a crime. Wouldn t rate the food either won t be returning.

Ofcourse you will find it hard to believe but I can assure you we left feeling like we had done something wrong. We are entitled to our opinion and I am giving my complete honest opinion.

This place has been an amazing Cafe for a long time. I loved it when it was the Cat Cafe, and I still love it since the new owners took over and re-named. Food is amazing for a totally reasonable price. Great coffee too. The staff are wonderful and friendly, it's an all round great Cafe.

Love this place. Tony is the owner and head chef and does a great job of welcoming you in and tending to what you need. Food is a great range of traditional breakfast/brunches, sandwiches, burgers and salads and great coffee. I keep heading back on Sundays!

I was invited by a friend on mine to this interesting place, we had dinner together, as they state it is the only Georgian restaurant in Sydney, so if you decide to try this cuisine you must have visit this one.

We started with all starters and it gave us chance to try all of them at once and I liked most of them. The eggplant was the best and the size was reasonable, so after that we shared chicken chahohbili, which tasted delicious.

Another thing to now is that during the day time its Cafe and at Night it's the restaurant.

Cute cafe located in the heart of Erko. This cafe would not look out of place if it's located in a small town but I'm so happy that it's so easy for me to get to.

The coffee is fantastic and the service is top notch. I ordered the haloumi and egg roll which was a revelation. Good alternative to the typical bacon and egg roll (which they also do).

The coffee sucks and the customer service is equally bad. On top of that when one tries to inform the same to the barista, his excessive ego cant take the criticism properly and he blames the customers for not knowing the taste of coffee. The servers are also confused and th table delivery is very slow.

I had the big breaky. Such a well delivered plate bread is just crispy so is the hash. Egg is perfectly done and the butter was prepared in a great density. The only advice I would suggest is if the bacon was dried on a paper towel before serve there would less grease. Amazing atmosphere around the out door seats with shade. What is really important is the service is fantastic. I was served by a male staff who I failed to ask for his name. He is very friendly and helpful. He also has a great charming smile with his service which really made my morning. I strongly recommend this place.

This is a great cafe for all sorts of purposes. The coffee and the food are excellent, with the menu having a variety of different items on it, from all-day breakfasts to sandwiches, pasta, burgers and cakes. There's free wifi so it's a good place to get some work done. All this combined with a bright sunny interior and welcoming staff are guaranteed to keep me coming back time and again.
(Note: there are no actual cats in this cat cafe.)

A cute little cafe that allows you to sit on Erskineville and watch the locals past by as well as enjoying the scents of the florist next door. Friendly service and awesome value for money. The veggie breakfast was huge but had to eat it all because it was so yummy!

Bad customer service . The girl who served me is extremely rude i think she is freakin racist . Food is average but just for d customer service i will not recommend anyone to visit dea . I order juice from d menu which is celery , spinach; ginger, cucumber, mint, lemon .is it to much to ask for ? N i ordered from the menu which says you can make ur own . She said she will not use whole bunch of celery n i have to add carrot or something else . Freaking pathetic waste of money . Bad experience, bad customer service . She was rude n didnot even apologised for her rude behaviour .

The service was friendly and polite, however the food was atrocious. I ordered fish and chips, and the fish was bland, tasteless and the batter was almost clinically boring. However, the main problem was the fish wasn't actually cooked properly and was still mostly raw inside, with the clear non white flesh still showing throughout the fillet.

Stay away from anything that needs to be cooked from this cafe. I'd expect better for $16.

Spontaneously walked down to Erskineville from Glebe and had late lunch at this lovely cafe.
I ordered the today s special which is meat ball sandwich with chips, that was amazing! The owner(?)'s warm service and smile made the meal even more delicious and made us want to come back here again!
Apparently they have a gnocchis cooking school for $60, I m not fun of gnocchis but if there is something else I would like to join :)
Thank you so much !!

Great relaxed cafe in a prime spot with outdoor seating. The all day breakfast is awesome just like the coffee. The pop up dinner menu is excellent - Gorgonzola gnocchi is a standout, as are the desserts.
